Sweetfuels we're delivering on behalf of boiler juice and cleamed there were parked cars and couldn't deliver. We arranged for another delivery today and I was I in waiting in, at no point did there truck stop and In a email they said there were cars parked in the way. There was one car parked but not outside our house. I have asked for the tracking from there truck but nothing. Avoid this company at all costs. We have 2 children under 5 and have no heating or hot water. To top it off they want to charge us £40 for costs. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid

Sweetfuels used to be my go to company for oil. They even had a discount scheme for our village and always used to offer a competitive price. But since the recent (?) change of ownership things have not been so good.
Last October 2023 I ordered some oil thinking I would get a keen price, but when I came to examine the invoice in detail I discovered I had been charged about 10p/l more than the average going rate, according to Boilerjuice. When I phoned them up to query the cost they said words to the effect "Oh yes, we've made a mistake, sorry, we'll refund you some money". Over 3 months later (Feb 2024) there's no sign of this.
I'm now shopping round for another delivery and, even with a 1p/l discount they are still one of the most expensive. So, needless to say, they won't be getting my business this time.

No issues with anything regarding service or product and would award 5 stars is delivery was a little faster - usually have to wait 4 to 5 days and would be great if this could be a little speedier.
Sweetfuels have always been reliable and their pricing is competitive. I can highly recommend them.

Responded to price challenge positively, good communication, pleasant friendly delivery person and being able to pay by phone banking made the process easier.
I would suggest giving customers 7 days to pay the invoice given it can arrive late into the next day when the payment is due and in my case was overlooked for couple of days later compounded by a phone issue affecting my on line banking access which took a few days to sort out.

Oil removed without notice!!!
Having used this oil company for over six years and paying a regular DD without incident I was recently contacted by email asking me to pay a huge outstanding balance (which I was totally unaware of) and to increase my monthly DD by a further 25% or to almost double my DD for the forthcoming 12 months making the payments totally unaffordable (upwards of 550.00 per month).
I rang to explain my circumstances and no other option to pay was offered just a legal threat the following day by email .
They have just come without prior notice to collect the oil and have left me with a completely empty tank which means I have no hot water.
I have an 82 year old bed dependent mother and a Down's syndrome handicapped brother who has many personal and mobility issues.
This was conveyed to sweet fuels during the telephone conversation however, they still felt it appropriate to take ALL the fuel without notice or without giving me an option to pay a lower amount until the bill was cleared or to pay for a small amount of it which was already in the tank, thus giving me a little time to make arrangements to maintain some hot water for my family.
Whilst I appreciate the balance may have been outstanding surely some communication should have been made before sending a bill out of the blue for £2300.00 with a demand for a further DD increase?
Very poor credit control and communication with zero customer service came as a very unpleasant surprise after all this time.
Justified repossession or just morally derelict?
Have been using them for the past 5 years. They have great prices, very responsive by ph or email or online ordering. Have saved me a couple times, when I let the oil run out, with a quick emergency delivery. Happy to keep using them.
