They are well organized , have great guides and their locations are awesome. They usually work close with the locals and that makes their trips even more special.

Incredible experience with knowledgeable, engaging Guides who encourage you, keep you safe take on the logistical burden, so all you need to think about is swimming and soaking up the scenery.

The daily swims and their itineraries were awesome, we swam in some spectacular waters with stunning landscapes all around and underwater. The guides, Lucia and Fulvio were fantastic, very helpful, patient, kind, professional, they provided us with the best possible swimming experiences. The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 star is again the lodging conditions which were really subpar. The rooms were again just like last year's expdition in the Tremiti Islands, like dorm rooms, dark, grungy, with lousy and occasioanlly malfunctioning showers, and the breakfasts were pretty bad, very poor and they did not provide us with the proper nourishment needed for a day of swimming in the sea. Furthermore, while the Aeolian Islands are very beautiful, the continous sulphur smell from the active volcanoes on the island of Vulcano was unbearable and evne penetrated into our rooms. I do not think there should be a swimtrek expedition on the island of Vulcano, beautiful as it may be. To return after a day of swimming and walk back to our lodgings through the scorching heat and breathe the overwhelming heavy smells was very off putting and unhealthy.

I am absolutely blown away by my Swim Trek to the Slovenian alps. Not only were the swims safe, well-organized, and accommodating on every level, but our guides, both Swim Trek and local, gave us 5-star service. I was not expecting to be taken so well care of. This is my first swim trek and first tour group holiday of any kind, and I'm very sure others are not like this. Every detail was covered, and the whole holiday was so perfectly balanced. I cannot believe the value for the money.

A small example of the level of service: we got out at our first swim break and were offered coffee and tea. One guest asked if there was non-dairy milk, there was not. She said ok no big deal. You know what? At our next stop there was non-dairy milk. That is just above and beyond. We never waited, we never wanted for anything. Even the local guides didn't just sit around on their phones- they engaged us the entire time.

For anyone like me doubting, questioning, unsure if you are capable, if you should try it, yes yes yes yes. The goal here on most trips is to simply swim in amazing locations and experience new sensations. You don't have any pressure to do anything you don't want to do, but are given the opportunity to do so much, be it push yourself or relax.

I also found our group to be really lovely and I suspect that this company attracts people like the ones on my trip, ones with many stories to tell, kindred-spirits, sincere, down-to-earth, and generally wonderful humans.

This was the best trip ever! Incredible guides, clear waters, stunning forests and mountains and wonderful new friends! Open water swimming in the Slovenian Alps was a dream!

Fantastic experience to be with a group and enjoy and improve your swimming. I’ve recently returned from the short swims holiday in the beautiful fjords in Montenegro. I can highly recommend the swim experience, the hotel and the location although the marine life in the inland waters is very sparse.
Although we were on quite a timeline each day, if you’re confident in your swimming abilities, this won’t be a problem. Wonderful food at the hotel Mersk Palace in particular.

On this SwimTrek, I met kindred spirits I hope to adventure with again. I arrived with some unfounded anxiety about swimming in the open ocean for the first time, but thanks to our incredible guides and supportive fellow swimmers, those fears quickly faded. Experiencing the ocean in this new way was nothing short of awe-inspiring.

After my first Swimtrek in Turkey, I thought it was the best idea I ever had. I still think the same after the trip to the Sporades. It was great fun to meet like minded swimmers and connect over a love of swimming in the sea. The guides and boat crew were amazing. Don’t hesitate to book a trip.

Montenegro short swims week was like a dream. The whole organisation, guest house and guides were excellent. We swam in beautiful waters in beautiful scenery.

Funny, healthy, gorgeous swimming week in Cretan paradise.

This was my fifth Swimtrek holiday, and all of them have been wonderful. The beautiful, quiet island of Alonissos is a perfect destination with wonderful swimming in crystal clear water. Everything is taken care of: the hotel is relaxed and welcoming, the boat crew are friendly and expert, and our guides Hannah and Steve made sure everyone had a wonderful and safe time as we swam. A truly magical week in a beautiful setting with great company.

We come ready to swim and our guides do the rest... They take care of us every minute with a smile on their face and a joke ready.

Safety was top priority for me and SwimTrek had that covered. From main boats, to assisting boats and well expereinced guides and crew, it felt like I was in good hands. Communicating with swim trek is also easy their call centers are easily reachable and they also respond to mails promptly. As a holiday they make the trips hassle free, and very enjoyable.

SwimTrek does a great job of keeping the swimmers safe and making the swims an enjoyable experience. Excellent communication about what to expect for each swim - conditions, distance. etc. There are usually some interesting optional non-swimming activities. I appreciate that they try to group people based on speed which helps make for a more relaxed experience.

Great attention to safety. Great swim holiday for anyone who wants to try open water swimming. Great guides who look after you. Beautiful places. Highly recommend.

Crete discovery was fabulous .. comfortable hotel with great food. The location is beautiful with swims round the coast to beautiful tavernas. Very lovely to be in Porto Loutro which can only be accessed by sea…so peaceful.
