I ordered a sleeve of golf balls for $1…

I ordered a sleeve of golf balls for $1 and a few days later was charged 49.99 for a subscription that I never agreed to or signed up for, when I called them I was told "Due to policies put in place they couldn't refund the 49.99 back to my account but cancelled the subscription I never agreed to or authorized, and was hung up on. This is a scam . After going online and reviewing their website, it's clearl alot of people have the same issue. I will never use or advise anyone to use their products or even view this so called companies website or order any product or service due to the fact you will be ripped off from them, I love the game of golf and strive on golf etiquette, APPARENTLY this company has no idea what that is or professionalism is. The fact they just hung up on me after saying they won't refund my money has me seeing red besides my checking account.

The biggest scam I have ever seen...

I am glad I checked out some of these reviews. The USPS tracking said the golf balls were sent back to sender for improper address. I sent an email and got a very quick response asking for the proper address which I sent them. I started to check the reviews and saw that people were being charge 49.99 a month. I called and spoke with a gentleman who confirmed yes I was in a membership. I insisted that I be removed immediately and they could keep the so called free golf balls. I politely told this gentleman that If I get charged the 49.99 I will be contacting my state attorney general fraud division because no where did it say I was joining a membership. I have just received an email saying my membership has been cancelled.

This company will scam you of $49.99

This company will scam you of $49.99. They offer 3 Calcutta balls to test, which may or may not ever arrive, (mine didn't) and without your knowledge charge you $49.99 after 7 days from the initial order.

This is a scam

This is a scam. They tell you they are giving you golf balls to review and charge you 1.00 to get your credit card info and then they charge you 49.99 a month for information you can find online for free.

SAD SCAM!

SCAM! Yes you get a sleeve of golf balls but they scam you into a membership for $49.99 that you know nothing about and you can never get a hold of their customer service to cancel. Horrible people stealing hard earned money! Called my bank and told them not to pay.

I got scammed like everyone else

I got scammed like everyone else. The free sleeve offer does not mention any requirement to cancel within 7 days or they will charge a $ 49.99 "membership" fee. The disclosure is found only as part of their confirmation email.

I believe it should be disclosed from the start.

They are definitely in business to scam consumers. I will report them to the BBB and / or Consumer Protection Agency and everyone else should.

I am sure that for most of us, the $ 49.99 is not an issue but we have to get rid of scams like these.

I ordered these generic golf balls on…

I ordered these generic golf balls on line. I bought the $1 sleeve and then added three more sleeves for a total cost of $21.97. That is about the max we EVER pay for golf balls. I am on a fixed income, my husband makes approximately the same amount every two weeks. I ordered the balls just to have some extras and because the ad claimed that you could get considerable more distance than any ball made today. These are FALSE claims. I got more distance with my bright pink Wilson balls. I found out this morning that I had been charged $50 to have an ongoing account with Swingbits????!!!! There was no indication of any monthly charges for a membership when the balls were ordered. The balls came with no information or an invoice. This sort of thing has happened in the past with other sellers and it is impossible to get your money back. You better believe I wouldn’t have ordered them had I known. My checking account is in the negative and the “company” has a policy and will not refund the money. I had a job in my late teens in a call center and quickly discovered they were ripping people off. I walked out after my first break. People who work at places like this should be ashamed of who they are working for! I was 18 and needed a job but I refused to steal from people. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR HYPE. Calcutta balls and Swingbits are thieves!!!!!!!!!!

Same scam as what everyone else has…

Same scam as what everyone else has reported. Cesar from customer support is a real jerk, would not put me in touch with his supervisor . They are thieves that just want to steal and respond that you agreed to it.

They did offer me a credit and canceled my membership and gave me a confirmation number . But I don’t trust them at all
