Just had a Swiss Chalet Rotisserie style beef pot pie. It was basically a pie shell full of gravy. Shameful product . We will not purchase this product again . e
This rotisserie beef pot pie was very disappointing.
It was basically a pie shell with brown gravy like filling
No meat and no vegetables.
Shame on them we will not buy this product again
Horrible experience
Food was cold, waitress was very rude and seemed upset when we had a question. We asked to speak to the manager but nobody ever came.
Ordered food from Swiss Chalet
Ordered food from Swiss Chalet, they delivered it without a knife , fork or napkins. I called them and the response was that you have to order the utensils. WHAT!. Do they expect you to eat with your fingers. Not everyone orders from home, some are at work. Does this come down from the corporate level to save two cents on utensils and napkins. Really, everywhere else that I order, they give out utensils and napkins to eat a food that requires them. oodle noodle gives you a fork or chopsticks and I can eat there at half the cost. Will I ever order from Swiss Chalet again, I can say never. On top of all of this, the food was greasy.

Corporate greed asking a customer to pay for your app? To buy food from your store.
Raw bacon in chicken wrap
I ate at the Bracebridge, Swiss Chalet yesterday evening, September 4, for dinner. I ordered a chicken wrap. When it arrived at my table the wrap itself had burnt marks on it and when I bit into it, something tasted off. I then opened the wrap to find that the strips of bacon were absolutely raw as if they were placed in the wrap directly from a package without being cooked. The waitress was shocked when I shared this with her. She proceeded to replace the raw bacon with 2 cooked strips which I appreciated. Then, the restaurant did not charge me for the meal. That was decent of them but raw pork could have a real health concern.
The moral of this incident is always check inside the wrap before you take a bite.

The waitress was very friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious— large portions.
I think they are buying chickies…
I think they are buying chickies instead of full grown chickens. The quarter chicken was so small, the leg was the size of the drumstick in the wing. I will not go there again. Too bad, I use to love Swiss Chalet.
A plate of over priced French fries with a smaller than my palm sized chicken
Husband and I went out for 2 can dine for 19.99 In Niagara Falls Ontario on Lundy's Lane. Never again. It came in a matter of minutes so I knew right away it was sitting in the back just waiting to get reheated. The chicken was no bigger than the palm of my hand and crispy. Inside it was dry even though we ordered the dark meat for an extra 2 bucks.
We were full at the end but only because we were full of French fries. Whole plate was almost covered in them. Pretty expensive French fries. Oh and ketchup isn't Heinz, its had vinegar added to it and made it taste gross. Its a shame what has happened to this franchise. I would be embarrassed to admit i owned or managed this restaurant
I wrote a scathing review a month ago…
I wrote a scathing review a month ago after an awful experience with a young hostess. I complained a corporate I complained on these review sites for the first time in my life after 40 years of eating in restaurants I complained about service. The next day the general manager at 36th Street Northeast Calgary called me and was very concerned that I was upset. She gave us a credit and asked us to come back and today we had a wonderful experience just like the many many years we've always had at Swiss chalet, the service was wonderful the food was like it's always been for the last 30 years of going there and we got to sit by a window seat which we prefer. Swiss chalet is forgiven for the last visit which was so awful I had to talk about it we will definitely go back

Went thrue the drive thrue bougt half a chicken, fries, side salad. Chicken leg and thigh were so small I covered it with the bun. Fries were left over and re-fried hard and we could'nt eat them. Salad had a lot of brown pieces in it not very appetizing. Won't ever eat there again.

Sherri our waitress at the Paris location location (think it was store 1920) was amazing. Took the time to have a little chat with us and checked in just enough. Food tasted fresh and delicious as always. Never disappointed at this location. Do yourself a favour and try their wings.
Fresh or not fresh
Last order was 100% fresh! But this time, they said it would arrive in 45 minutes but arrived in 10. I knew right away it was not fresh. I ate half & developed nausea. I was so disappointed.
