The style and design are beautiful. It arrived with a slight "dink" on one corner, but I couldn't be 100% confident this wasn't done on unpacking, so didn't raise the issue. That said, unpacking and constructing are incredibly simple. Having been set up and used - lightly - for a few months, I'm a little disappointed by how delicate the finish is. There are already a few light scratches and chips in the varnish, which can only have been caused by moving a keyboard, mouse or pens and notebooks around. Similarly on the edges of the storage compartments on the riser, the varnish is either missing or has worn off. I will invest in a desk mat (although this wasn't the look I wanted, hence the choice of desk). Still a beautiful desk, but for the price, I would have expected better quality and durability.
