Have been able to create great AI content,

Not sure how this got some many stars but it flat out doesn't work

Credit usage did not match how it was presented.

I am leaving this review due to unresolved concerns and the absence of any substantive response after raising them directly with Synthesys.

At the point of use, on-page tooltips and pricing language stated that each credit equated to one generated video. Based on this, a reasonable expectation was formed regarding how credits would be consumed.

In practice, videos were deducted at a significantly higher rate (e.g. 10 credits per video), with no clear or prominent warning prior to generation. The effective cost only became apparent after credits had already been consumed.

I raised this discrepancy in writing and provided the opportunity for clarification or correction. While the message was read, no meaningful response was provided.

In the absence of engagement or explanation, I am sharing my experience here so other users can make an informed decision about how credits may actually be deducted in real use.

Synthesys.io is a perfect tools for generate video from text (blog article summary for example) and deploy it in multiple language

Synthesys is a terrific company and what they develop is truly state of the art!
I have only begin to scratch the surface of everything they offer, I am learning the ins-n-outs of AI Studio.
There are so many features and functions and in terms of processing images/videos/text/speech...it's literally ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES.

Synthesis AI voices are veryrealistic, and handle contractions better than any other text to speech app I've used. The tone, the rythm, and the emphasis are all outstanding

I used Synthesys.io to redo the voice prompts for our phone system, and it worked better than I expected. The voices sound clean and professional, and setting everything up was straightforward. I had to play around with the timing on a couple of menu options, but it wasn’t a big deal. The files uploaded to our phone system without any issues, and the overall quality was definitely good enough for business use. For the price and the time it saved, I’d use it again when we update an auto attendant menu, or if I have use of some future voice-over work.

Synthesys Voices 3 is a truly fantastic tool for me. The voices are realy amazing. I simply use one of the wonderful English voices and type my sentences in Dutch. The texts are spoken in perfect Dutch. Honestly fantastic.

The many visual media tools that Synthesys offers are centralized in an AI Studio hub. Training videos help to walk a new user through each of the content creation tools. Synthesys offers an outstanding customer service and their responses to inquiries are always friendly, professional, and timely. Synthesys is suitable for both beginners and seasoned creators. I purchased the Synthesys UGC Persona Unlimited plan less than an hour ago for $199, but unfortunately, the platform is not functioning as expected.

The first red flag was seeing "300 credits left" in my account immediately after successful payment, which was confusing given the “unlimited” plan description.

The main feature I wanted to use—“Add my multilingual voice”—is not working at all. I tried uploading both .wav and .mp3 files (about 11 seconds each), but after selecting a file, nothing appears on the screen: no waveform, playback, or confirmation. The file name shows when I hover over the import area, but clicking “Add Custom Voice” does nothing. There is no error message or feedback.

I have tried multiple browsers and cleared my cache, but the issue persists. Additionally, I could not find a “My Plan” section anywhere, which made managing my account even more confusing.

If this is not a scam, it reflects very poorly on the user experience and UI design. The interface is confusing and frustrating to navigate, and I believe the team could benefit greatly from UX/UI expertise.

I have already requested a refund via email, attaching my order confirmation, and I hope for a swift resolution.

What I realy like is that I can create/clone myself and my voice. Now I can easily create a lot of short clips without cutting and redoing then over and over again :-)
