Great customer service and fast delivery

I was looking for a HP Reverb G2, a rare little beast, System Active appeared to have them in stock - although I did want to check, I didn't want to just pre-order. Tony got back to me very quickly to confirm they had some in stock but by the time I read the message unfortunately they had run out. I contacted Tony to ask when they would have some in, he responded a couple of days later saying they had some more - I immediately placed my order. The next day I received my item, much faster than I had expected. It is a spendid VR headset, and will replace my HTC Vive. Very happy with SystemActive and with my purchase.

They Use ParcelForce :(

I've ordered a HP Reverb G2 from SystemActive. The communications has been great. I'm yet to receive the G2 which I expect to receive in a couple of days.

The reason why I'm giving SystemActive only 3 stars is because I've only just learned that they're using the worst courier service I've ever known to ship me my G2. 'Parcelforce' are absolute savages. They throw, bash and crush your parcels. The last VR headset they shipped they broke. I got my parcel back last time crushed complete with a Parcelforce worker's boot print on it where a worker had evidently used my parcel as a step.

Never use Parcelforce. They abuse and break your goods! Because SystemActive use Parcelforce I won't be shopping with them again until they change to a reputable courier.

Really terrible company

Really terrible company. My headset wasn't delivered even thought the delivery company said it was. System Active have pretty much told me it was my fault and have been less than helpful. I am currently with out the £500 for the unit, without the unit itself, and have a customer service to deal with that do not care.

I say do not care, the last email was pretty nasty. He obviously did care. But he's too stupid to realise its not my fault he's being nasty.

On the positive side. I am going to their head office to get the refund in person.

When things go wrong, they just don’t care a jot

Like many others here I ordered the Reverb G2 from this company. The unit was seriously delayed through no fault of System active and, to be fair, they kept us well informed about the delays.

My unit eventually arrived on 2nd December but was faulty.

I contacted SystemActive who informed me that they had no spare units and suggested I contact HP directly, which I did. HP agreed that the unit should be exchanged and issued a form for SystemActive.

SystemActive could not have been less interested. Given that it is THEIR responsibility to deal with HP they have chosen not to do this. They offered me a refund but I still want a working version of the unit.

If I accepted a refund and waited until the unit is available it would cost me about £125 more than I paid back in July when I ordered it.

The mark of a good company is how they deal with things when they go wrong. This company has demonstrated that they simply want your money and will not lift a finger to help if things go wrong.

For this reason I will avoid dealing with them again in the future.

Awful customer service

Not had a single reply to my 4 emails!!! I have also tried calling sales and customer service and they don’t even answer the phone, I was told my G2 would be here early December. I understand in current situations that things can be delayed but no excuse to ignoring my emails for weeks.

Do not trust this company

Would give zero stars if possible. Very unprofessional operation that doesn't care one iota about its customers. Customer support lied to me multiple times to hold on to my preorder so I wouldn't cancel, if I hadn't believed them I would have got my HP Reverb G2 yesterday and they said it would arrive by today but now they're telling me it's another 3 day wait.
Extremely shady and unscrupulous, would highly advise you avoid doing business with them.

Heartily Recommended!

My experience with SystemActive was excellent from start to finish. My initial contact was helpful and explained such things as cancellation policy thoroughly and clearly. Communication during the order process was clear and concise without being verbose. Delivery was on time as communicated. Recommended and would certainly use again!

Great Communication with their Customers

I ordered a HP Reverb G2 from SystemActive in the second half of this year. Any failures and miscommunications were solely on HP themselves. SystemActive communicated as much as they could when they could, even setting up a distribution email for all pre-orders to keep us updated. Very happy with their service

Ignore all of these negative reviews, they're spam

The company is great and kept me updated throughout my reverb G2 pre order. People are downvoting them because they are angry that their HP product wasn't as good as they thought (even though its very good) and they think SystemActive are to blame when they didn't even make the headsets....

UPDATE: No fault of System Active. WAS: Not too happy with their customer…

Update (14th Sep, 2021):
It seems that I had been accusing the wrong party here. Now that I've dealt with HP customer service, I realise how frustrating it must've been for System Active to deal with them. The number of times I had to call HP to get replacement cable in TWO separate cases and them getting things wrong and not contacting me back has been a nightmare. System Active on the other hand have been very helpful in clearing up this mess with HP.

Below is my original review, which I no longer consider to be a fair assessment of System Active, but want to keep it here for the record:

Not too happy with their customer communication.

When preordering the HP Reverb G2 in July, the product was promised to be delivered in September. Things have been delayed, and to some extend that is understandable and out of the hands of SystemActive themselves, but I'd appreciate more friendly communication.

I was completely ignored, when I asked the company about possibilities of compensation for the delays. The second email (what I'd consider a polite and reasonable one) sent several weeks later I got a reply akin to "have no further information, deal with it" with no apologies for not replying to me earlier. They didn't even answer my main question about if they plan to implement a queue number update system to inform their customers their place in the queue, as shipments start to roll in, as other companies have done with some pre-order products.

I am aware of potential delays and the nature of pre-ordering things, but I'd expect a bit more courtesy and better communication from a company that has already taken my money and haven't delivered anything in exchange.

Great service from a key supplier

We have been dealing with system active for a number of months now and they have always maintained a great level of communication and support. Primarily I have dealt with Dom who is always courteous and quick to respond when I have a query or need a quote for some hardware. Better still they understand the nature of the industry and have a great turnaround time from the moment I order to the moment i get the product which is typically the next business day. Recently I have dealt with another staff member called Jacqui who was equally helpful and a pleasure to talk to.
