No Communication. Nothing received for 5 months

Placed an order on 7th June for some items, the store called me the following day to let me know that they were back order items and would take until mid August to arrive. I accepted this and the store were very happy that I was happy to be patient.

I called the store in early August to check that there were no further delays, I was told all was on time.

Mid August: No Delivery, no contact.
End of August: Called to chase, was told that "the girl who looks after back orders will call you back" - No Call
Early September: No contact, so called to chase, told were still waiting on some items.
Mid September: No contact so called to chase, told that some items had gone missing from a delivery, so would be another two weeks while they were re-picked.
Mid October: No contact so called to chase, told that items were being picked, so would be a week or so.

Cancelled whole order at this point. To the store's credit they did so immediately, but I would suggest not agreeing to any back orders with this store as they do not contact you and I suspect often your ordered items probably get put into the in store stock.

BAD COMPANY, AVOID

Well were do i start?.
This company (if you can call it that ) is shockingly S..T they sent my husband a faulty item fox cookware that cost over £100, he sent an email straight away with picture of the broken part.

1st they told him they would send a courier to collect the item and replace the item for a new one , never happened after waiting a week.

2nd they said the company fox was going to send the items out to replace the broken part so to wait on that, AGAIN never happened.

3rd they told my husband they would call him back to find out what happened within 10 mins , AGAIN NEVER HAPPENED, insane when my husband tried to call back 8 times of being ignored I called them with my phone and they answered to my number (strange ) and gave more crap.

I would not touch this company with a barge poll , they was happy to take my husbands money but the after care ( if you can call it that ) was never their.

Poor customer service

Used these few times without issue! My last order was a complete shambles. After receiving my order there was an item missing, tried to get in touch and sent emails which have been ignored and have given time. Il never use this company again that’s for sure!

Great service for the second time in a row

This is the second order i have placed with Tackle Addicts and both times they have been excellent. This time i ordered Vass waders which were on back order quoted 7 to 10 working days and they arrived within that time and their price couldnt be beaten. Keep up the good work guys

The quality of the fishing gear I obtained from this store is outstanding, and I can't wait to put it to the test on our next fishing excursion with my father, making it an extraordinary experience😁.

I placed a order for a Cotswolds Aquarius 5 rod hold-all on a Sunday,
I was contacted saying it’s a back order on the Monday and received on the Friday excellent customer service really happy

Very slow to send my order

I placed an order on 28th December as Tackle Addicts had for sale several items for sale that were out of stock elsewhere. As I hadn’t used them before I check the trustpilot reviews before I did and as they were good I was happy to order. Date is now 22nd Jan and I still haven’t received my order. I have chased the company several times first on 9th when I was told that as the Fox warehouse was closed over Christmas they hadn’t received the items. I was a little surprised at that as the product obviously wasn’t in stock when I ordered but I was reassured the order would be with me soon. On 17th I relieved a message that the package was in its way. However two days later it still hadn’t replied. I wrote to the company and they said they had tried to phone me as a couple of the products I had where now discontinued and another would not be available till March. And did I want to get a redund on those or a replacement item. Fair enough again but I shouldn’t have had to message them again to chase as an e-Mail would have done. I have asked the company to send replacement item but have still not received my order. I am also disappointed that given the delay my whole order has been delayed including the items in stock. Other companies I have ordered from which have items out of stock from my order have sent those later and the rest of the order in immediately. So it’s disappointing Tackle Addicts have not done this partial delivery given the time the order has taken so far to honour. Order finally arrived so nearly a month. Even then bit annoyed as replacement lure pack sent was a completely different lure type (one I have plenty of) rather than a different colour size of same type and the second item to make up the difference was duplicate of another item which I didn’t need too off.

Ordered a carp rod on back Order and was promptly contacted to let me know a time frame for delivery that was fulfilled. I decided to purchase another to match afterwards (as you do) and they were happy to put both orders together so that saved a bit of postage too. Great service all round.

Excellent tackle shop

Excellent service have ordered a few times from them now and can’t fault them. Very fast delivery and items well packaged to prevent damage in transport. They have such a great range of baits compare to other businesses and at such a reasonable price.

Spent nearly £1000 over the last few…

Spent nearly £1000 over the last few orders 3 rods delivered but stolen after being left on the footpath outside my house, they were meant to be dealing with parcel force had nothing back, lady slipped up saying they were making an insurance claim to recover money rather than refund my£300 loss, postage on all items and issue will never use again.
