Great service and my dog loves the variety of food and helping a lot in controlling her weight. She is a senior dog with joint problems and I’ve seen great improvement in her mobility.

We have been using Tails for well over a year. We rescued a GSD who appeared to have uncomfortable hips so we added joint care supplement with tails. Recently she has laid on her front with her back legs tucked right under her and even rocks side to side whilst chewing a toy. I do believe this is down to the quality of food with the additional supplement. Yes it costs more than the supermarket but in my opinion so worth it to improve her health and make her a happier dog.

Really convenient as its delivered straight to your door. Love that it is tailored for your dog and not just a random bag off the supermarket shelf and that you can select any medical needs your dog has too. BigLen has never refused this food and I love the bag it comes in as we visit my family a lot who are a long way so we stay with them for a few days. The bag means I can just put a few days food in there and not have to take the massive tub that his food is in. I also had to contact their vets once too and they were very helpful. BigLen has joint problems in his back legs so I give him extra supplements to help with this and as I have glucosamine and chondroiton in his food I wanted to check that the levels were still safe to give him. They got back to me the next day. Its great to have that on hand. They always keep you updated with emails on when order is coming and so if need be, you can change the delivery date to sooner or later. We recently found out that BigLen has osteosarcoma and unfortunately probably won't be with us next year so we have been treating him with the odd bbq here and there! The delivery emails mean I can put the delivery back a week if I have left over food. They also send out recipe cards with the deliveries and I have made all of these. BigLen loves them especially the spinach and bacon bites! My 5year old daughter also loves making these for him as the recipes are so easy. I even got a birthday cake recipe for him as it was his birthday recently. The emails with advice are great too. Would very highly recommend these guys! Thank you for making life so much easier for me and giving BigLen a food he loves along with a few extras also!

I am used to clinical research and so checked the benefits of the single, yes, single differing ingredient they had added for one of my dogs over the other - Marigold. The dog concerned has joint issues is old and is of a pedigree that often has joint issues. Marigold can be used topically for inflamation and is sometimes used internally for specific gatric issues with care as it can be very harmful when ingested by a dog (and importantly is never used in a pregnant dog due to the possibility of it inducing miscarriage.) Hence I am correct to conclude precicely what I expected of this very expensive 'tailored' dog food: This garbage is aimed at people with more money than sense by worthless, exploitative morons who just half read a few bits of crap from suppliment peddlers info and put it in food for YOUR dog ... I expect they don't even know that the toxicity of any substance usually varies wildly from species to species, even those closely related genetically. I'm glad they offer the first order very cheaply because I have three bags that are going straight in the bin. (I haven't checked the rest of the 'interesting' extracts that are present in the feed for both my dogs yet but expect to find a very similar, woeful, story.)

Just an excuse for one single issue from the many that I outlined - that they don't do specific feed for pregnant dogs which doesn't help owners who's dogs become pregnant or don't think to mention it when ordering (not that their staff would know it was an issue if you did.) And and bit more bullshitty, badly sourced 'wisdom' about Marigold.

Within the first few weeks we noticed the difference, Vala has always had a beautiful shiny black coat, now she’s super shiny so much so people comment on it, she has more energy & her breath has definitely improved & she’s lost weight, which is fabulous she’s 11 it’s so important for joint care id definitely recommend tails food

We’ve been Tails’ customers for too long to remember but I remember why we joined: our dog’s wind could clear a room in 10 seconds!

Nothing we gave him made any improvement, so I did some online research and thought I’d give Tails a try. There was a change almost overnight! As he’s had joint issues since he was a pup (he’s now 12) the diet has also improved his movement.

Over the years, as Sam’s needs and tastes have changed, I’ve added those changes to his profile, and Tails have altered his food accordingly. Whenever I’ve contacted them, Tails have responded quickly with advice or answers to queries.

Sam’s now an old boy and has become more fussy in his old age. He’s slowing down a bit, and his diet has changed again. He’s now on wet and dry food mixed, bouncing around like a puppy when he sees the food being prepped and loves to lick the tray clean!

Even through the pandemic, Tails have delivered. They’ve kept their clients informed about delivery delays/price changes.

The information they require about your pet allows them to tailor the diet to their needs. All you have to do is keep updating your pet’s details. Yes, it’s not cheap food, but buy cheap, buy twice.

Tails are amazing. My dog was being super fussy about kibble until we changed and now she eats all her food every meal time. I used to weigh it to give her the right amount but the adjustable scoop and size guidance from tails saves me the effort.

When a new delivery is due I get an email about a week before offering the option to delivery early or delay (depending on how much I have left).

Most importantly my dog had a joint issue and I was recommended a supplement called yumove which she just wouldn’t eat. Tails put the same supplement into her kibble and I only pay the same as what I used to for James well beloved. Without extra cost of supplement. There have been no signs of joint issues since we switched to tails.

I have to say Daisy is not fussy and will eat everything. I started her on a Tails therapy diet to reduce her weight and to help her with a weakness in her front legs that arose from time to time. She is 10 years old today and is losing at 1/2 gram a week and that is after reducing her kibble in the morning. She currently weighs in at 15.75kilos and needs to lose the .75grms. Will take her some time I think but she is happy with her food and she has had no problems with her front legs since she started her therapeutic diet two months ago.

My labrador is loving each meal she has lost a few pounds- I only know this as she was weighed at the vets last week.The variety of dry and / or wet food helps as I like to see what fills her up. She is 8 has joint & other issues presently and I'm trying to get her weight under control she doesnt know when to stop eating but on this diet she seems content.All food I've purchased has been fresh and great quality.

Absolutely amazing! After rescuing our dog we tried so many different foods, including hypoallergenic ones, different flavours, big brand to supermarket own brand but our dog always ended up with an upset stomach. I saw a free tails trail online and gave it a go and haven’t looked back since, nearly 4 years later!! Not only have all her tummy issues gone away, her skin and coat have never looked better and the bespoke kibble is in larger pieces so she can’t just swallow it whole (she’s an American bulldog x staffy so has a large mouth). I love that you can add supplements like joint care and delay orders if you need to! The treats offered by tails are amazing and I’ll occasionally add them to my order. It’s super easy to use, set up and adjust according to your dogs weight/activity level!

Our dog (chocolate Labrador) has been on this food since he was a puppy and he's now 7. He is fit and healthy for his age and more importantly is the perfect weight. This food plus the accurate scoop it comes with has allowed us to keep his weight spot on all the time. He has no joint issues and still enjoys regular long walks with us out in the Surrey Hills. The deliveries mean we just never need to worry about when to get more food in or what we should be feeding him.

With Louis having a delicate stomach and having to add joint supplements to his food due to trouble with his joints (and him being a very fussy eater) finding food that suited him was challenging and expensive. When a friend recommend tails I was a bit unsure! What If it wasn't good quality? there was no where to go to discuss problems, what if it was late coming he would run and couldn't pop out to buy any? What if I wanted to change what he had would it be long and complicated! But swapping to tails was the best thing I've done for Louis he loves the food, he has hardly any episodes with his tummy and he's eating he's supplements with out even realising so a lot less stressful for us! The dash board is great for making changes and seeing when he's delivery is due and we have never had any issues with delivery, they always come on time and are left in my selected 'safe place'. I really could not recommend tails enough!

Tails are great, Juno loves her kibble and the treats that arrive with it. She has been through a season and phantom pregnancy which have impacted her appetite and made the tails flexibility for delaying deliveries an excellent feature.

She also had some joint issues before tails and the necessary supplements are included in her diet now saving me a lot of money on tablets that she hated taking! All issues are clear now :-)

I have used Tails.com for several years and have always been pleased with the value and service they provide. My 7yr old LabX has joint problems so we have to watch her weight (not easy with a greedy Lab)!!
Her individual recipe kibble from Tails.com really helps to keep control and she loves eating it too!

Switching from raw meat to this has been the biggest mistake we ever made - we started using the service after being referred by a friend's code, with the first month being discounted. The online process of selecting what your dog needs seemed excellent, but after 2 months of eating Tails food, our dog Jess was in a horrific state. I'm tearing up as I write this because we really thought we were going to lose her after these two months. We specified that she needed to lose some weight, and needed some joint supplements as a mature dog (large Doberman.) After switching back to meat at the end of the two months, we realised that all the issues she had developed recently were within the Tails food usage, and these issues have begun getting better once we stopped. These included MUCH more visible joint pain, as well as slipping legs and loss of balance, and generally seeming more down, tired and upset - not to mention that she seemed to be gaining MORE weight! If you are feeding raw (especially to bigger dogs) I'd highly recommend you stick to that and be extremely cautious with this service.

Great product. I was able to very carefully tailor the dog food mix to my dog, who is very difficult to buy for, because most dog food, dosen’t agree with her. She is also getting on in years.
So, you can tailor the food, by breed, by age, by having had pancreatitis, by needing hypoallergenic food and joint support. And by needling to loose weight. I am also able to give her exactly the right amount of food, so there is no waste. And the best part? She loves it.

Our dog has been in Tails food for a couple of years now, as he's getting older he has started to get joint and skin problems.
We noticed you can select these things for their personal blend so we gave it a try.
The difference in him has been amazing, his coat is back to being soft and glossy and he isn't as stiff any more.

Millie must the THE most timid eating dog ever! She has to eat privately and often would leave her food all day (until the “right “time) and inevitably the cat would eat her wet food. Often she’d go a day or two without eating. With her customised meals I know she’s getting exactly what she needs and she eats it almost as soon as I put it down! I love that her joint supplements are part of her daily food mixed in!

I have been using Tails for nearly 2 years now and I’ve never had a problem. I did have one bag of food that had burst open in transport and the box was quite damaged but a quick message on Facebook and everything was resolved. It’s easy to set up and you get a delivery every month, you can even delay an order or go on and change to a different date for it to be delivered on so there is no running out or getting low on food. The food is good quality and Thor (CaneCorso) loves it. We have the bone & joint care as well as skin & coat care as Thor is a mastiff breed they can suffer with joints as they get older. I’d definitely recommend Tails for any dog owner.

Efficient service. Great for monitoring my greedy dog’s meal sizes. With the added bonus of joint care built into his food. Very few complaints from the pooch!
