Taimi does everything in its power to prevent you from finding someone
The app automatically widens even though you haven't finished swiping on people in within the ridiculous minimum search radius of 20 miles. The app has very few filters so youll have no luck finding your Mr. or Mrs. Right with any ease. Even premium members dont have unlimited likes. They hide half of the sites members behind a paywall(diamond dates) there is also no guarantee that the profiles theyre hiding are even active. Im constantly matching with people I know for a fact I didnt like and according to them they didnt like me either. There is a ton of baiting on this app to get you to spend more money. Management claims to be listening but ignores all of these complaints whether theyre from me or the many others who have taken to the internet to complain.

When you say that the app widens your preferences, you're referring to one of our latest features on the app, designed to ensure a steady flow of new results without interruptions, even if there aren’t many active profiles that match your immediate preferences perfectly.
This indeed means your age and distance filter undergo a slight adjustment when you run out of results. Naturally, you can always set them back if you wish to narrow your search again.
In the meantime, we recommend pausing your swipes once you see the notification that your filters have been expanded. This will give the algorithm time to shuffle in additional results within your preferences, once new users register in the app.
When it comes to "Curated for you" profiles (previously "Diamond Dates"), they rotate twice per week, which means they become available as regular profiles once they leave the rotation.
On Taimi, visibility depends on activity, so inactive profiles are no longer advertised in the "People" or "Trending Now" sections.
As for the Automated Likes feature, it is completely optional and needs your consent to become enabled. If you've enabled it by accident, you can disable it at any time from the Settings menu on your Profile page. 😊
That being said, I can see where you’re coming from, and we appreciate your feedback in this regard. 🩵

So I'm updating my pics when one of my favorites that was going up was being kicked back. Something about a clear face. Well the face was clear and visible. However, this pic wasnt allowed. I immediately found the account support button and was kindly unraveling on whomever would read my comments. Out of nowhere this rep pops into the chat or message. They quickly jumped in to see how they could help. The issue had just resolved itself. But I gotta say, to actually be able to chat with a live individual completely made my day. These are great. Older Trans women
I’m 57, and while I have not met “the one”. It is fantastic to be in a safe space where I don’t have to explain myself, and can focus on getting to know someone unlike any other site. There are far less chasers, and more sincere men actually seeking something significant with a Trans woman like me. The ratio of young/old men is heavy on the young side, yet the men in my age range are polite, thoughtful, interested, and kind. I would highly recommend this site for both older trans women and older Trans attracted men who seek more than just flings

All I did was down load the app to take a look at it and I was charged for it and didn’t even login, set up an account. I was cheered trough Apple on my iPhone. I’ve contacted Apple as well, but I will never ever do that again and I was just taking a look at this. Forget it ladies complete rip off.!

Absolutely ridiculous set up
Absolutely ridiculous set up, you get to see 20 people put in front of you of their choice, half of which do not fulfil your criteria for example they put lesbians in front of heterosexuals or gay men and to move on to the next one it takes up 5% of your daily allowance of 20 views, some of which will be “second chance” which means you’ve viewed them before, as for the messaging , you get a whopping 3 a week which you tend to use on people that admire you or match with you, most of whom never reply or never even open the message which means in effect you have no ability to message anyone else for a whole week, which is odd as they have decided they like you ( are these just created false profiles to keep you interested?) which is ridiculous for the money you pay each week, they have “curated for you “ which never seem to fulfil your criteria or are nowhere within your area that you choose or set up a filter for the distance, but don’t worry if you pay them extra again you can get unlimited messages if you opt for “gold+” or you can have them as an add on at super inflated prices! Overall I will not be renewing when my subscription is up as I think the whole thing is geared for them making more money from you, I haven’t managed in about 4 months to even arrange a date and now it seems like that I’m just watching the same profiles over and over again and getting no responses or very few responses from my messages. Very poor value for money unless they start to have unlimited profile searches and messages. If you don’t want to pay the whole thing is totally pointless as you just get to see a blurred profile picture of your matches and admirers

I understand you're dissatisfied with how our algorithm assigns results to your "People" section.
To clarify, the same way you only see people who match your gender preferences, this is also true for other users: they will only see you if you match theirs.
In other words, you wouldn't be able to see someone's profile if they hadn't specified an interest in your gender. This allows for catered results and a personalized experience for each of our users.
It's possible that some users have configured their sexuality or gender preferences incorrectly, leading to incompatibility issues such as the ones you described. However, our experience suggests these occurrences are rare.
That being said, we remain open to looking into this further and understanding if you may be facing any technical issues in the app, causing the algorithm to glitch. Just contact our support team (Profile > Settings > Help & Support) and we'll take it from there.
Moving on to actions and messaging, we would like to provide a few clarifications as well.
Firstly, actions are only required to acquire new connections in the app. Once you've matched with someone, no actions are required to message them, and you can message your matches as much as you'd like - there is no limit.
Furthermore, your actions reset every 24 hours, which means you don't need premium to connect with other people in the app - just time.
The "3 per week" feature you mentioned is called Instant Chats. It's completely optional; its purpose is to allow you to message someone before the match. To reiterate, post-match messaging is free and unlimited.
When it comes to likes and admirers, they're very different. Likes are profiles who liked yours, so liking them back creates a match. Admirers, on the other hand, are profiles who visited yours but haven't liked it (yet).
All of these results are from real people using the app, but we unfortunately cannot guarantee that your likes will be reciprocated or that other users will respond to your messages. Finding quality connections takes time and patience, on any dating platform.
Regarding "Curated for you" profiles, we apologize if they did not meet your expectations. This is a relatively new feature that is still being fine-tuned. Hopefully, future iterations of the app will bring the improvements you anticipate.

The best and most user-friendly app for LGBT+ people, I have met so far. Real people behind the profiles - and I’ve had some great dating experiences as a result. Less direct focus on sex than f.eks. Scruff. But nice feature with private pics. Only minus is the price - if you want all the extra features that makes it interesting. (Seeing “likes”!)

They got in touch with me and I had not realized I was a gold member, and with premium features. I got a text asking why I cancelled I replied I didn’t long story short I was informed in how to use the gold service and my subscription istill active for once a web site with morals and great customer service, something other applications can learn to be honest and not rip off their customers I’m grateful for the awesome customer service.
