This is an update on my previous review.
I bought e version fron Tales.dk that want working properly on my device and without video clips at all. I had contacted the site and the problem was my device they said!!@!@!.
Now I bought another book whith picture and video clips and it is working superp on my device.
MY ADVICE!! BUY THE EBOOKS OR ANOTHER BOOK FROM THE PUBLISHER OR TRUSTWORTHY SITE OR THE RISK THAT YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID.

As we have already discussed the ebook has been tested and we have found no issues.
You may have no problems with other e-books, but this could be in other format.
We wish to help as much as possible, but we are a book store and not technical support, so our options regarding issues with the customers own devices are limited.

Bad customer service

My first order was out of stock, so I ordered a different product, which is lost. In both cases, they even weren´t able to inform me about issues.

Unfortunately, we do not receive any feedback automatically in these cases.
The lost package was, from our point of view, correctly dispatched to you, however an IT error occurred which meant the delivery company could not handle the parcel correctly and have it delivered.
I do hope the new order will reach you soon without any further delays.

Appaling service, i just want my money back please

I placed an order on the 1st of Feb on an "in stock" item. This item prompty became out of stock with an estimated date of the 12th of Feb.

The 12th came and i recieved another email advising me the item would now be in stock on the 20th of Feb.

The 20th came and went and i sent an email to chase.. no response.

I have now emailed 6 times without a response, cancelled my order and requested a refund. None of the emails have been answered and as of today i have still not recieved my refund.

im pretty disgusted you can operate in this way Tales. It is fortunate that this was just a personal purchase, not a gift.

I would advise anyone thinking of using this company to think very hard before pressing the "buy" button.

I apologise for the very late reply, here and I could have sworn I already gave you a reply.

Your order was indeed delayed twice, which is very unfortunate.
However, the delay was caused by the publisher given out the dates for when the book would be ready and back in stock, which in your case, was not correct.

We did have a very long response time, when you wrote us and we are not proud of that.
We do however, not complete any payment until the order is shipped to the customer.
Any cancellation of an order prior to shipping will also result in a cancellation of the payment.

Super long delivery although they say…

Super long delivery although they say in between 4-7 days, 9 days later I asked where my order was, they just simply said, sorry we had UK supplier had issues. Still don't know when I will get the order. From their customer service email I had an idea they don't really care about this business and their customers seriously. Pls don't support such business, they need to be illuminated from the market for someone who can do better.

I bought an e.version of ultrasound book…

I bought an eversionof ultrasound book and before i played i asked the customer service if the video are included. He answered with citation from the author that video is in included. I bought and then not only videos not working and also the pictures not downloading. When I send him the pictures confirming that he gave me not effective solution and it ended with that my device was the problem. DONT BUY ANY E VERSION OF THE BOOKS. BUY ONLY DIRECTLY FROM THE AUTHOR.

I afsked if the video clips where in , I dont get any clear answer. Only citation from the autor. When a website is Salling something it should be more aware of what is she selling. The program was not working and I got answer that it is working. My money got wasted. From now on only paper books from the author website.

You have not given me much info to find you or your order in the system.
If there is any issues with an audiobook we get it checked for errors.
Unfortunately, it is sometimes an issue with the customers device which we cannot help with.

Used many stores and this was the only one that failed

Was collecting a manga and had to use 5 different websites to get them all.. I came to Tales for one Volume and it was the only store that let me down. After two weeks it was still processing, and the item was still listed on the website for sale. Almost 3 weeks later the item was removed from the website and it soon said on my order page delayed and due back in stock in 2 days (my expected delivery date was shortened by 5 days which of course made no sense). That date came and went and my order didn't change except when it passed the expected delivery date it said to contact customer services. I did contact them and got no reply, 2 days later I had enough and cancelled my order. I've seen reviews with the same problem as me. At the end of the day they had an item listed which they did not have or have access to and that is very bad business, I can't recommend this store and I'll never try and use them again.

Edit: As you can see from the reply from "Tales", they listed an item they never had or had Access to, so they tried to push the blame on to the supplier... Funny that, because they had the listing still on their website for weeks, then removed the listing of the item after I ordered it, showing that they could never actually deliver it.... But yet they wasted my time. Good job tales, now get lost and keep up to date with stock you can actually can deliver. (By the way, it took over a week for them to reply to my email and their words were exactly, "I can see you have cancelled the order, which is 'quite understandable'..." Hilarious they used the word "Quite"... Don't use this site.

I apologise for not being able to deliver the book you ordered.
I will try to explain the situation about your order.
This book is not kept in stock, by us or any suppliers. It can only be obtained at the publishers own warehouse.
The publishers do not update any stock list, but simply keep a status saying, they accept orders of this book.
It is indeed not very customer friendly, which is why we are one of the only stores that actually offer these titles, as many other store simply do not want these issues to happen.
In short, we risk some unhappy customers in order to provide rare and special books that cannot be found elsewhere.

A bit late delivery

A bit late delivery, but that is due to the long processing times at the Swedish customs. I got the books,they were packed very nicely,very nice customer support too. Thank you 😊 will order soon again,hope it goes well too.

The order was delivered an ready to pick up on the 7th day.
I encourage you to pay closer attention to delivery timeframe in the future as your delivery was within the normal delivery time, as stated on your website.
