Money squeezing entity. Will come up all sorts of silly excuses when asked for explanation too. Read the rest of the reviews too and AVOID at all costs.

AVOID!!!!

Booked my car in for 4 new tyres on 18th Feb, the lady on the phone was lovely, she even called me back to tell me they had difficulty in getting the 4 so would look for another tyre of the same standard.

Waited over an hour whilst I had the tyres fitted, the mechanic was struggling to get the wheels off, when it was finally done I noticed that the TPMS was not registering the rear offside tyre, took it back and told the mechanic, he said bring it back on the 19th and he would look at it.

The issue was I had the car booked in for MOT first thing, the car failed the MOT due to the TPMS not working it was actually loose inside the wheel. I had to pay £100 to get a new one.

Spoke to the lady on the phone and the mechanic and whilst the mechanic admitted responsibility and has paid the money that it cost me for a replacement, I would not for one moment trust that mechanic near my car or that of any of my families cars.

The mechanic is inept and whilst he remains there I will not be using the garage again.

Lovely pleasant and helpful girl on reception . Booked me in for an MOT within 1 day. Kept in touch reminding me of my MOT booking and rang me as soon as it was finished. All I needed was a bulb which I was very happy about. Usually my mechanic friend sorts this all out for me so this was a 1st for me and being a woman who knows nothing about my car, I was concerned about being ripped off. I was very happy with the service I was given and felt I really trusted this garage and will definitely use it again. Would recommend Tamil motors , Thankyou

Paid for a tyre including fitting via black circles, then I was contacted late evening day before to state that Tamil autos had not contacted them to confirm an appointment time the following day. Telephoned Tamil autos next morning and tried to find out why they stated on black circles website they could fit tyre on this day if they couldn't. They denied any knowledge of this, said no person on reception the last two days so never accessed emails, I was told the tyre was not at the garage at first then they eventually admitted it was there,so this proved they did have knowledge of this. I rang very early in the morning and even though they were open until 7pm that evening refused to fit the tyre that they had been paid to fit and were not even slightly apologetic. Had to collect tyre with my son and pay to have it fitted elsewhere. This is the second time using this garage the first time, I was treated extremely rudely by the man in the garage work shop area, but I put it down to maybe just having a bad day, so gave them the benefit of the doubt, massive mistake. I will be contacting trading standards because it is an awful place and something very dodgy about what they are doing. DO NOT USE

Wanted an oil and filter change, good price and no selling up.
Pleasant reception, work completed in a couple of hours.
Would use again.

Very disturbing experience, having booked a repair through fixter as i was shopping around for a clutch repair I accepted this job with a £374 discount so knew to repair the clutch i would need to pay £874. I dropped the car off only to get a call a few hour later to tell me to do the job they need to do my suspension and I now owed an £374 for that job onto of my bill for £1,248???

I told the lady on the phone my quote was for £874 through fixter and I would be paying them directly why do I now owe £1248 + £374 for a job i had done in September last year, there's no way that the suspension on both sides and ball joint should need replacing yet , I was told sge would send photos of the underside of my car but work wouldn't be continued until I agreed the extra work.

I then phoned my husband as i was really upset and he spoke with Tamil motors and refused the additional work.

They then pushed the job back a day, the clutch has now been repaired- but please be wary as it appears they're just trying to make back the money fixter discount!!

I have never written a bad review before but I felt this was worthy of my time.
I got my MOT done here. My previous garage closed earlier in the year due to retirement.
Let's just say, I wish I had read the reviews before I took it there.
Let's just say they failed it with a number of major defects when all but one should have been a advisory. I got the work done straight anyway as I usually do to get the re-test done following day. I was told they were fully booked for the next few days, yet had many many slots available if I had of booked online and as I took it for repairs to my own mechanic I would be charged £15.00.
I took my car elsewhere for a full new MOT and it passed with two advisories one of which has been an advisory in my last 2 MOTs.
Never have I had such a bad experience in a garage and I don't want to hear their excuses, so please don't bother commenting on my review. To anyone who is considering taking their car to this garage do your research and compare it to review of other garages in the area before you make a decision.

Total disaster of a garage, avoid like the plague...

Lied to me, tried to change the price never fixed the car in the end as I lost faith and told them to out it back together.

Total waste of time and very frustrating, they literally did throw the car back together as it was almost undriveable.

When I complained they denied it and said a "Master Technician" if he was the best mechanic they have stay away....you have been warned.

Don’t use this garage there disgusting!!

So I booked my car for a service and mot I dropped it off and paid £155 and left it there and picked my car up the next day. After picking it up and bringing it home I noticed some damage to my car on the front bumper after looking more closely I can see my bumper is crushed at the bottom on the driver side and the bumper is separating from the side panel. I took the car back the garage to show them and they said they’ll check the camera and get back to me in which they didn’t get back to me it’s disgraceful and I have pictures but I can’t post them as I don’t have the option but stay far away from this cow boy garage and go elsewhere!!

Couldn’t fault them. They picked the car up and dropped it off. They did all the work at a very reasonable cost and kept me updated throughout the day. Manageress was so helpful. Highly recommend them. Best customer service I’ve ever had from a garage
