Terrible - They will steal your money!

In September 2023 I received ~£10 BTC as a referral bonus from Tap Global, which has since been sitting dormant. (99% of investing is doing nothing.)

In May 2025 Tap Global revoked this referral bonus leaving me with a 0 balance.

Tap Global have refused to cancel the revocation and have offered a useless 1.5% cashback card that charges 1.5% to use from the UK and only has a Euro balance.

Edit: In response it is clear Tap Global have no concept of what is the customer's and what is theirs. Just because they put a number on your screen that does not mean it is yours. Clearly the old adage "not your keys, not your coins" is especially pertinent with crypto operations with no internal or external regulation. As a token of reciprocation here is 1 BTC* for Tap Global to use as they wish. (*See unpublished terms and conditions.)

I have never seen such a bad financial service and software in my life. Sending money in was easy, but sending money out or getting a credit card was a nightmare. The system threw back customer identification dozens of times, and customer service banged out unnecessary phases. There was always another person there who had to start the whole thing over again. It took me a week to get my money. Avoid it far and wide. I lost appr. 3-4 hours of work and so suffered financial damage from this incredible company.

When after a week I finally managed to somehow get the customer identification done, and then came the next slap in the face. When I wanted to transfer the ether out, the fee was 01,01 ETH which is currently about 26 dollars. This is outrageous in my eyes. (Their other fees are not low either. I got out with virtual card for €2 only, but free in some other fintechs.)

As for blockchain withdrawal fees (like ETH), those are based on real-time network conditions, which can be high depending on congestion. We do not mark up these costs, and we're actively working on alternative solutions to keep them as low as possible.

SCAM , THIEVES stay away !!!

Stay away. Pure non conscious thiefs.

Opened a account - verified - all worked fine. I deposit 1000€ in crypto. Suddenly they ask for a Utility bill. I send a paper original. 2 weeks ago. Only answer i get is ‘Be patient team will contact you’ ! 2 weeks ago !!! Now they dont even answer.
