Tarifaso is a scam

Tarifaso is a scam. Taifaso sells standby tickets, they are not, and never meant to be the dates/times/airlines you are choosing to buy. There is no opportunity for a refund. They then offer a scam, where you can pay addition hundreds of dollars for a different flights, same phony terms. DO NOT BUY FROM TARIFASO!
The email they send shows flight information but does not include a reservation number - no flight was booked, yet my account was charged. It indicates flights with United. My understanding when I booked this was 1. It was a booking for a flight, not a standby and 2. it was for Air New Zealand, not United.

When I called the Tarifasodeal representative tried to sell me more expensive options, would not refund, and was not able to book the flights indicated in their confirmation email. They said the booking was for a stand by, not airfare. I would not buy a Standby if it was sold as such, and this was advertised as a flight, not a standby. My requested flight was for October 2026.
They sent a Booking Reference number 82947 but no flight reservation.

I booked round trip flight, after I gave them my card information.
Received an email
My going trip is confirmed but they be able to confirm coming back trip.
When I asked to cancel they declined and charged me anyway

Company Scam

This company is a total scam. I found flights that fit what I needed for a fairly cheap price. I used my debit card and paid for the flight. After paying, this company called me to go over my flight with me. Once I called them, they started telling me that my ticket were standby tickets and not confirmed. They told me the only way I could get the tickets confirmed was to pay an additional XXX amount. I told them I was not paying more than approved and they told me then your flight will not be confirmed. Then they said they would work with me and look for different flight times. Every flight time they offered me, they wanted an additional amount of money. This company is a complete scam. I would stay far from them. You will be charged a lot more money then you see on their site. Plus it is very difficult to get your refund. They will not refund the initial money you paid. Your bank can dispute but it takes time and if you use a debit card, the bank may not be able to get your refund. BE AWARE!!! Total scam.

More details on my situation. I booked online with Tarifasodeal. The flight date and times I requested was listed on their website for 962.00 dollars, flight was on a specific date and time to meet my travel plans with American Airlines. I paid the amount and thought my flight was booked. Not so much, I received an email and phone call requesting I call them and discuss my flight. I called them and they informed me that it would cost me an additional 2K to get flight I requested. I told them I was paying no more money because that is what you advertised the price at. He was very rude and assisted that I needed to pay the additional amount or he would look for other dates and times for my flight. After arguing with them for awhile, I finally asked what they could offer outside of the flight I had already paid for. They would not give me any flight on my requested days unless I paid the higher price. They final gave me the cheapest option for my flight, which was 500 dollars higher than what I had already paid, and it was flying out on a different day and time then what I wanted, and with Delta airlines now. I finally agreed to pay the additional amount which cost me a total of 1392.00 dollars verses the 962.00 dollars I had already paid. On top of that, instead of just charging the additional difference of what I already paid, they charged the full 1392.00 to my card since it was Delta and not American. They told me that I would see a refund for the 962.00 after 48 hours. Today was the 48 hours and I have yet to receive the refund of 962.00 that was originally charged. I am giving it until tomorrow and I will call my bank and my lawyer to file a claim against this company and dispute the charges that was never refunded to me. This company offers false advertisement, rude Managers and they will bait you for a price and try to charge you double the price. They will not work with you without you giving in and paying more money. Which I didn't even get the dates I originally wanted because they tried to charge me over double of what I originally paid.

Lastly, I looked up the price of my flight and it was 1062.00 dollars. I paid them 1392.00 and didn't even get the flight I had wanted. I looked at my charges and the company gave themselves 487.00 dollars over what the ticket price cost. Such a scam, bait and switch company. Don't use this company. They have reviews that show they have done this on multiple occasions.

TarifsSoDeal.com Bait and switch scam

I was trying to find an affordable round trip ticket through the Skyscanner site for travel in june 2026 to Bangkok Thailand from Washington DC and found an itinerary with a good price. All the problems started when I started booking that option through a travel site TarifaSoDeal.com without separately checking the reviews for the site. The itinerary was a round trip ticket with KLM Airlines with travel from Washington DC to Bangkok with stop overs in Amsterdam and on return stop overs in Amsterdam and Paris for $1245.71 Then about an hour later the calls and messages started informing me to get in touch with an agent to confirm a few things on the ticket. I contacted an individual named Maverick Chandler at TarifaSoDeal.com who informed me that this ticket does not permit any checked baggage allowance. When I told him that the ticket description doesn't say anything about not having checked baggage he told me that it doesn't permit any checked baggage and the ticket is non refundable I protested that not being able to pay an additional fee to check a bag could not possibly be true. Then he started a high pressure attempt to change the trip with other airlines and I was totally confused. At this point I was totally confused and he was putting together trip segments on different airlines and attempting to charge my Capital One Savor card. Then he told me that their monthly quota for master card charges does not permit additional charges and he needs another credit card so I provided him with my M&T Bank checking debit card and he attempted a charge against that debit card. Fortunately the fraud features of M&T bank stopped this charge. Then he told me that the charge was declined and asked for a new charge card and I provided my Capital One checking debit card which is a discover card. Then he informed me that unfortunately their monthly quota of Discover has also been reached. At this point I started getting very suspicious of all this and told him that if in fact what he has been telling me is true and the original itinerary on KLM is non refundable then why is it that he had told me several times that the seats had not actually been reserved. At this point I had been on the phone for close to 2 hours with this guy with a very suspicious name I mean who in the world with an indian accent is named Maverick Chandler. I was truly mentally and physically exhausted and told him that I will work out the new declined charge with my bank and get back to him and he pressured me to do it as fast as possible
At this point I went online searching for reviews of this travel site TarifaSoDeal.com and was shocked to discover that a lot of people have been scammed by this site with many of them warning of high pressured bait and switch tactics exactly of what happened to me. Then I noticed that they have been attempting to charge my cards various bogus charges with no references to which charge for what. One of the charges which didn't make any sense at all was a charge for $1245.71 for the original KLM tickets which was declined. After all if in fact Maverick Chandler was trying to change the entire itinerary then why was he putting in this charge after charging my Capital One Savor Card for 2 separate charges for $872.50 to United Airlines and $892.43 to American Airlines. I then scrambled to lock all 3 cards (1 charge and 2 debit cards) so that no more charges can be attempted. Then I contacted the Capital One Fraud department to dispute these 2 charges on my Savor Card. I also reported all 3 cards as compromised and asked for replacement cards. I never received any confirmed tickets nor airline PNR's from this company. This scam company has put me through a lot of heart ache and misery and I hope somebody stops them from doing this to any other victims. I have copies of several of the declined charges and the 2 itineraries which I can provide if needed.

SCAM and THEFT

SCAM and THEFT. I ordered tickets on their web page. Instead of delivering them as any other service instantly, they started to chase me by phone calls and e-mails to "reconfirm" my choice. Fortunately I was able to block the card before they charged it which turned out was very wise, as a few days later someone tried to use it several times. Bogus site.
