Disappointed

Really disgusted.i should have read the reviews before ordering.my shipping status was never updated now they says it’s lost in transit which seems to be a common thread on this review platform.I’m hoping I get my refund and I will never buy from them again.furthermore will be letting as many people as I can not to buy from their online store and I won’t be buying anything at all from them from Sephora as well.I’m really disappointed and thought they would be better than this.why offer a product if you can’t deliver?i don’t believe it was even sent and as they are sold out I think they were never going to fill the international orders,if it was sold out.pathetic company and liars

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service. Would give zero stars if this was an option. I ordered several items online end of November as a gift. When my items did I not arrive by mid December, I emailed to see where they were. I received a reply that they had been “lost in transit” and Tarte would not resend or replace my items as I ordered from Ireland. It is now too close to Christmas for me to place another order as it will not arrive in time. I am absolutely furious and will never order from this company again.

I am so disappointed with Tarte

I am so disappointed with Tarte. I ordered two concealers and instead I have been delivered items completely different. Unbelievable! Spent £8 on delivery only to receive the wrong items. They don't seem bothered to solve this either.

Poor customer service

Ordered 2 palettes on 27th November. Arrived today. Neither palette has shipped. Instead a random pack of blushers. Customer service shocking. Apparently unable to resend. Offered me a 30% off code to reorder. Despite 30% off site wide already available. Delivery not guaranteed for Christmas.
Absolutely rubbish customer service and no responsibility taken for shipping the completely the wrong item. Terrible. Would not recommend.

Such a disappointment

I ordered a custom kit and waited for a month to arrive in Australia, only to discover missing items in my kit and those were the items I'm so excited to try on :(
I tried to chat the customer service and got told that they can't do international replacement and will do refund instead. I don't know if they have that intention from the start. Make a massive sale on the website, attracting people to buy it, send incomplete items and just give refund on missing items, which I think doesn't worth the cost of those missing items.
Just check the trustpilot website and discover many people have similar problem. Please avoid buying something from there, especially if it's on sale. It was my first tarte order and definitely my last.

Candace Craig is a sell out.

Been a customer for years. Recently bought the Amazonian pallet and very disappointed. I called corporate left messages directly for Candace Craig and Maureen kelly multiple times and no response. They used to care now there just another make up brand.

Appalling company

Ordered concealer and a set of mascaras for my daughter for Christmas. Order arrived but instead of a set of 3 mascaras I was sent an eyeliner. Contacted customer services who advised that a replacement could not be sent on international orders. What a load of rubbish. I was told on the 3rd November that I would get a refund by the 23rd November (why so long) but I am not holding my breath. As they are an American company there isn't a lot I can do except never order off them again. Would advise to not order from them as they are obviously taking advantage of being in a different country and knowing we can't do anything about their appalling service.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Their customer service is appalling. My order never arrived so I was told if it hadn't arrived by the end of the next day I would get a refund. It didn't arrive so I contacted them to ask for the promised refund only to be told they couldn't refund me because their tracking said shipped. Not delivered, shipped!! I had to fight HARD with the useless customer service team to even get them to read my emails. I was getting copied and pasted responses that didn't even relate to my messages. It was honestly horrendous to try and communicate with them. I had to screenshot live chats and email via old emails to use as proof they had promised me a refund. Eventually, after a LOT, of fighting and refusing to be ignored I got an email to say they had issued a refund which would take between 10-14 days to appear in my account. Time will tell if the refund appears, if it doesn't I'll be logging a fraud case via my bank. Do not use this company if you live outside the USA.

Awful never again!!

Ordered a custom kit and 5 travel minis. The custom kit includes a foundation (the main reason I purchased the kit). I noticed on the confirmation email the shades were wrong I contacted tarte as soon as I realised before the items were shipped. They sent them anyway!!!!!! Items took a while to arrive and we’re all wrong. When I got in touch with customer service again I was offered a measly £8 refund for the foundation when they sell it for £33 the justification was that they divided it by the amount of items in the kit even though it was the most expensive item in the kit. Totally unfair. I was told No replacements are allowed for international customers. So annoyed! They took my money and sent me incorrect items but won’t replace! They should not sell internationally then!! Never again

Good products/terrible policies and customer service

I absolutely love all the tarte products I have purchased from Sephora. Cannot fault them.
Wish I could say the same for their customer service and policies. I am not able to order anything from their website because my shipping address and billing address don’t match and all they can say is “sorry for the inconvenience. It’s our policies” I have NEVER had this issue and since I live in a remote area (country) I do A LOT of online shopping. I am beyond disappointed as I really enjoyed the make up.

If I could I would put a zero.

I ordered on the 18th of September and received shipment confirmation the next day. Since then tracking has been showing that my parcel is in New York and will arrive on 5th of October. However, it’s been there for over 4 weeks and there was no change. I had to contact them 3 times. First time on the 8th of October the customer service claimed that: „We’re currently experiencing higher than usual turnaround time in shipping orders out. Your order X contained some items that were out of stock, but this has been fixed and your order will ship this weekend!“. Well, I have already waited for 4 weeks so I decided to wait a little longer in hope that I will receive it, as it was stated by the personnel. More than one more week has passed again and nothing has changed, my order yet again was not sent out. I decided to reach out to the customer service again on the 16th and asked for some explanation of what is happening??? I told them that it is taking ridiculously long and soon, at the end of next month (which meant that they still have one more month to ship my order out to me), I will have to depart the country where I was staying and I was expecting to receive my order till then. However instead of receiving a response I was completely ignored and when I checked my orders status... now it showed that it was canceled without even informing me about it. I waited for few more days expecting that they will hopefully respond but since nobody did I had to reach out to them again. This time I did it on live chat. At first the person who was helping me out seemed to be interested in actually helping me, but after a few minutes (after consulting to other team members as was claimed) they started giving me poor explanations and being rude. You see, now they were stating that my billing/shipping address didn’t match and that was the reason for my orders cancellation. I have checked my addresses and called it out that they were matching and that that was a complete nonsense, plus keep in mind that the girl before provided a completely different reason for why my order was delayed for so long.... They stated that because of this reason (which is a complete bs..) the order is automatically canceled in 5-10 days and the card is not deducted. However my credit card was deducted already for one and a half month and I did not receive a cancellation and I pointed that out to them. Instead of looking into it deeper they just claimed that it was not deducted and the funds were already returned to my account since then (which was not the case). I have waited for one and a half month, waisted my time, my nerves and my money. Nobody apologized or tried to fix this situation, instead at the end they suggested for me to place a new order....... I was also not refunded till now. Now I will have to contact my bank for a proof that my card was deducted to try to get back my money. I will also contact my lawyer because they definitely violated our contract which was valid through all of this time and violated general terms and conditions of business. I am completely shocked... This situation is absolutely unacceptable and very unprofessional. It was my first and my last time trying to order something from their brand and support it. I definitely will not be recommending it for anyone. I hope I will at least get my money back. I am not willing to leave them more than 200 euros for nothing.

Be cautious

I love Tarte products, but their customer service is terrible. It seems that this is fraud, as well as misrepresentation in their advertising. You collect points, place an order, pay 8 pounds for delivery, and eventually get one of 4 products. Either orders are collected by blind people, or those who cannot count, or Tart deliberately does not want to send promotional goods. And no apologies. Very frustrating.

Very very disappointed in this company!

Very very disappointed in this company. As a long-running business I would assume that they would know what it takes to provide excellent customer service and care to their customers. They've discontinued one of my staple foundations. I have very sensitive skin. This being said I cannot use any other product. The only two products I could use was the Amazonian clay full coverage airbrush foundation and the Amazonian clay full coverage liquid foundation. They went in and they changed the liquid foundation and now I can't use it at all because I do not like the formula. So that leaves me with the powder foundation which I prefer anyways compared to liquid. I use this product everyday. No other products work. They discontinued this product without any notice to customers or any information or reasoning. We don't know if it's coming back and it's been almost a year. I haven't been able to use any foundation in this entire time and I really don't think that it's right. I understand that it's a privilege to be able to use their product and I appreciate them coming out with such a wonderful item but to take it away from us when we've become accustomed to using it daily for years is horrible. It's just not good customer service. It shows that tarte does not care about their customers which is very shocking because this is one of my core makeup brands that I've been using for years and I did not think that this was how this company was. I'm very shocked and I will not be buying makeup from them anymore. I will have to find replacements for all of my tart products. Hopefully someone else will come out with a similar product to this since you guys don't care at all about customers enough to bring it back. SMH

Lovely kit makeup and cream

Purchased a kit online took about two weeks to deliver, didn't realise was from usa, recieved well packaged lovely box all products safety wrapped on tissue, all good quality products from makeup foundation eyeshadow which smell devine chocolate smell lush! The moisture cream came in beautifully box n packaging bit greasy to use i have combination skin, overall happy with my products would order again on the future

Genuinely RUBBISH !!

Took 3 weeks to arrive from USA to U.K. that was ok so that’s why got 2 stars !!!! The products really rubbish for what they cost I know it’s not the most expensive but it’s pricey enough to expect better !!!! I’m so, so disappointed ..... Colours nothing like on the website for 1 so received a box of multi products none are any good to me a nude lipstick is a rose colour ? May as well call it rose red !!!! products don’t last mascara after 4 weeks already running out and drying I use it once a day if that !!! The tinted moisturiser is rubbish can’t tell you have it on at all it doesn’t even leave a trace using a brush or fingers or sponge makes zero difference, lipstick totally wrong colour so can’t say how it lasts etc as won’t ever use , brush I received is like a cheap tacky one zero substance to it for a foundation brush, the concealer isn’t too bad goes on nice but again it’s the colour it’s white more or less it’s meant to be a natural nude colour so unless your the skin tone of Olaf it’s no good . All In all I will not use again wasted my money on inferior products that I can’t return. I have had better products off the shelf in the supermarket as a teen to be honest . Clearly just hyped up on Instagram and I fell for it . Will not buy again %10000””

Over a month ... still waiting on purchase

I WILL NEVER EVER order from Tarte online again. I live in Hawaii, I'm used to stuff taking extra time to get here... but Tarte is just like every single person in the world right now ... they're STILL using "covid" as an excuse. That's so last year guys c'mon. It has been over a month. An entire month ... and still nothing, still waiting on my order. I've contacted customer service and same lame "due to covid blah blah shipping delays BS" Are they rowing the darn boat here with my goods? Nah they're just cheap and use the worst crappiest shipping 3rd party imaginable. SMH. What a joke. This 1 experience has completely ruined Tarte for me. Never again will purchase in stores or online.

Tarte has amazing makeup & skincare!

I have used a lot of Tarte products and I have to say I have not been disappointed in anything I have purchased. They have great foundations that looks like your real skin but still get the coverage you need. Eyeshadows are also great. Very pigmented and blendable. Their blushes go on seemless and blend easily. Their bronzers and highlighters are amazing. I highly recommend this company. It is on the higher end when it comes to prices but the quality of the products is worth the investment!

I ordered a limited edition item that is not available in the UK. It was delivered, beautifully packaged, today - the exact date given for delivery. It took exactly two weeks to reach me from New York. Perfect.
