Not Equipped To Handle the Task
The tasker was not equipped to install the IKEA under sink organizer nor think logically about how to get something done. He did not use his time efficiently. He was not honest and upfront when I asked him prior to coming whether he could measure to hang a curtain rod. On site, he said, "I will put it where you tell me to." I had to show him where the inches were on his tape measure because he was using centimeters. He did not have a level to check his work. Hung the center support bracket crooked. Nice guy, but not a good experience for me.

Over the last few years I've hired 5 or 6 taskers and they have all been pleasant, professional, and well-skilled for the jobs. I've been very pleased indeed by their service.
What I am not pleased with is the customer service. For example, the way the website works, you are already obligated to pay for a tasker before you and the tasker have had a chance to "chat" and make your agreement. Secondly, the website was not up to date in this regard when I used it: there was no easy-to-access and accurate information about how to cancel an appointment with a tasker. Both of these lapses are not good professionalism. It makes it appear that the company may want the customers' money (even unfairly).
The last comment I have is that it is important for a good company to have a customer service representative available by telephone at least during business hours Monday - Friday. I beleive Taskrabbit will lose customers and not gain new ones as easily without a real person who can be contacted.

My Tasker was punctual and professional. I like the resource of having the help. However, it should be a complete service. I do not think I should have to
pick multiple taskers if I need to move furniture. Through the website I should be able to detail my task automatically pick the number of taskers not have to pick one define the duties and then pick another and define those duties. Not convenient! The cost per hour should be complete of all that is needed.
Also, seems to have fees that are a surprise at the end. I understand there may be fees involved but $58 in a Trust and Support fee is excessive!

Trust and safety charges are too high.
I mean $23 is what I paid for the anyway that’s what he told me he made. It’s gonna dig a hole then add eight dollars to that that’s like 40%. He did a great job. Your take is too high. You should post total cost right upfront and have the cost built-in instead of added on hey but who am I?
