My first order and delivery with tate oils. Excellent customer service from first call with Matty all the way to delivery. I've recently moved into a property using heating oil so wasn't too sure on the process but was given friendly advice, which was very much appreciated. Deliver was very swift ans easy. Will continue using tate oils and highly recommend them! Big thanks to Matty for his help.

I live in a lovely, but remote and tiny, area of Solihull, amongst mature trees and narrow lanes. Our delivery of oil was due well over a week ago, but the driver arrived and decided he couldn't negotiate the narrow lane, or reach the tank (which is, in fairness, awkward to reach) because the hose was too short. So he said sorry, and left.
The second attempt at a delivery was cancelled due to heavy snowfall - okay that may have been a challenge, but it was only in our area; the main roads were just wet.
The third delivery was scheduled, this time by Tate. I received the text to say they'd be arriving 13th March. As we were going to be out for most of the afternoon, and as they hadn't turned up in the morning, we were worried that our oil wouldn't be delivered, yet again. I was told that they'd be arriving at the end of the day, so I made sure I was going to be home.
However, enter ANDY! I came out of my afternoon meeting and saw that I'd missed calls from an unknown mobile, which I immediately assumed was Tate Oil. I called the number and Andy said, "Ah it's ok, I found the tank. You've got your oil." If he'd been in front of me I would've kissed him, because I really was getting a little bit worried about the level of oil by now.
In a few words, that lovely lad had removed all the worry. He went on to explain that he had to negotiate the truck in a certain way to be able to reach the tank. To me it showed pure initiative and a willingness to get the job sorted. He is an absolute star and if I ever needed a driver who needed to be able to find ways to overcome obstacles, he'd be my first choice.

A big thank you to Ian our driver who struggled through the snow this morning to deliver our heating oil. He rang first to confirm the conditions and once I told him we had gritted our very steep drive he had no hesitation in making the delivery. This is very much the sort of service you need when you live off grid.

I forgot to order my oil and realised just in time, before the tank ran dry. Matty at Tate organised an emergency delivery and saved the day.

A great company to deal with and kind staff and prompt with response.I would highly recommend them.

I have long thought that Watsons Oil prices were hiked and the explanation for their high price was insulting
I rang Tate Oil and was greeted by Emma, who; with a very professional, friendly and knowledgable response, quoted me a competitive price
Needless to say, I was very happy to switch providers and have signed up for a 36 month agreement where they will even pay the vat!

Heating Engineer, Luke serviced the boiler and was absolutely brilliant. I have been at my home for 5 years and the heating has never worked properly and certainly never like it is working now. The boiler and pump have never been as quiet as they are now and the house has never felt so warm. Please pass on my thanks. I am so grateful.
