Unprofessional service with no communication

I pre-booked a journey and selected 2 passengers with a booster seat - an option on their app. This was booking in advance and was confirmed. On the day, no-one showed-up nor did I receive any notification of an issue. I had to call after the start of my journey and was told: “ sorry, we have only seen this now, we don’t have anyone with a booster seat”. I have had this type of service more than once, enough is enough. Unprofessional and poorly managed service. Zero communication, missed pre-booked journeys that has had significant personal impact at times where a reliability was needed. I have travelled and used several app-based pre-booked services around the world including developing parts of Africa and Asia and TaxiVert stands out as surprisingly poor. It appears the protectionist environment in Belgium which prevents competition from forcing innovation and improvements in service levels for consumers severely impacts the availability of 1 or more reliable services. Very very poor. Sadly, there’s little choice so customers are on their own.

Booked a cab to go to the airport.

Booked a cab to go to the airport.. they.arrived late. The chauffeur was very agressive and as a woman I did not feel safe.never use iit again. Better to go by Uber...easier..on time..nicer drivers.
Moreover they charged my bank acco8bt more then what indicated in the invoice.

VIOLENT ASSAULT BY TAXI DRIVER

I booked a Taxi Verts taxi through my hotel for a 6:30 AM ride to Gare du Midi.

The initial problem was that the driver's payment terminal was not working. Despite attempting to pay with three different cards that were functioning perfectly well elsewhere in Brussels, the driver's machine repeatedly failed. He then insisted on taking me to an ATM to withdraw cash.

Even though I explained to the driver that I was already running late for a surgery, he wasted approximately 15 minutes driving around, searching for an ATM that was "visible from the road,".

However, the situation turned from bad to terrifying. When I calmly refused to pay the full amount he demanded – which included both the original fare AND the extra cost for the time and distance spent driving to the ATM (a detour necessitated solely by his faulty equipment) – the driver became aggressive. He then PHYSICALLY PUSHED ME AND PINNED ME AGAINST THE TAXI IN FRONT OF NUMEROUS WITNESSES, immobilizing me to force payment.

This violent assault and restraint occurred directly in front of the Ibis hotel, near the bus stop marked 'W', in full view of numerous people, all because I wouldn't pay extra for a problem his machine caused.

I finally paid the extra he asked for, and even more, since my surgery came first, and I was very scared. So finally he let me go.

I am sharing this experience to warn others!!!

Dishonest, verbally aggressive, and rude.

we have had two experiences with Taxi Vert.
First time: Taxi Vert sent us a messge agreeing the price of the airport booking.The Taxi driver who picked us up tried to charge us an extra €10 on two items of baggage. Initially, he refused to take us to the airport. We had to threaten to call his manager until he did it. when we got to the airport, he tried to give us ask us for more money to which we refused. We agreed only to pay the price that was quoted. The taxi driver insulted us and we took our bags and left after paying the agreed price.

Second time: The agreed price was €28. The taxi driver tried to charge me €33 when we got to the airport to which I disagreed and I pay €28 with my card. However he claimed the transaction had not gone through, and stupidly I believed him, and paid again the result was that I had two payments of €28 on my credit card. The second was promptly charged back.This taxi driver worked for Taxi Vert as a freelancer under the name Taxi Knora.

We will not use Taxi Vert again.

My experience in short

My experience in short: I booked a taxi from BRU airport to my place in Auderghem with a fixed rate of 39 Eur. I booked it at 11h55. At that time I was already waiting my bags and when I saw in the application that the vehicle arrived and the car had stopped, at that very moment I called the driver. This was exactly at 12h00 and I called just to tell him that it would still take 5 to 10 minutes to get out. When we indeed get out it was very crowded and I looked for the driver while I was calling him again. He did not have time to answer my call because I saw him and we were already face to face. This was at 12h12, and I have proofs of this. The ride was fine, but when we arrived, the surprise: the price was now 54 Eur, and the reasons that the driver waited more than 25 minutes and that the parking at the airport cost him 6 Eur (!?). I did not agree and I said that I would not pay more than the 39 Eur. We called the company, without any positive result. The driver told me that I was very stubborn. I think that I have rather a high sense of justice and enough responsibility to respect a contract, that is all. Or just that I am not a spring chicken anymore. No need to say, I will not use this company ever again. Attention à l'arnaque, vous êtes déjà prévenus.

Not good anymore

Up until the last month, service was good for years. However, the last two rides I had poor drivers. I have an account and I saw I was charged for parking when it was a drop-off at the airport and there is no parking fee. A rip off.

This is a scam

This is a scam. BEWARE. The app does not locate the correct address. You are charged even if the driver cancels the trip or never shows up in my case. When you attempt to speak with the driver or customer service the is suddenly a language problem that never existed in prior communications

Worst taxi experience ever - do not trust them!

Worst taxi experience ever, the company is happy to leave you stranded in the middle of the night even if you book your taxi several hours (or days) before the trip (and they took our money upon placing these bookings).
Recently got a notification that Taxi Verts removed themselves from Google Services (like maps and search), so I came on here to spread awareness and hopefully save anyone else from depending on this unprofessional company.

pay via their webapp

It should be possible to pay via their web app, so you don't have to pay on board. I know that drivers like to get paid in cash, for obvious reasons, but still. Everytime I'm trying to pay via the webapp, I get an error message. Just take it off the web app if you did not implemented this feature!

The taxi didn’t appear

The taxi didn’t appear although I reserved it two days in advance. I waited and then called customer service that ordered a new cab, like it’s the most normal thing, without explaining and saying sorry. This one came 25 minutes later that what I needed. If I wanted a child seat as I initially reserved I had to wait even longer. And this was all to go to an airport thus it was very important to be on time. I didn’t expect such unprofessional service from taxis verts.

AVOID THIS COMPANY!

AVOID THIS COMPANY!
I was stuck in Brussels city centre and needed a taxi to my hotel, approx 45 km away. Tried to call them but that was useless, so I booked online. (wish I had read other reviews first...) Created an account and booked it. At first it estimted €91. I'd heard it's normally around €1.8 per km so €91 was a little high but I needed a taxi and other companies I called couldn't help. I proceeded with the booking at at the end the price was €103. I tried to call them but no answer, it just rang then hangs up. The taxi turned up and seemed OK. When I got to the hotel, they charged my credit card €137.60. I've tried to contact them but it's useless. I've also emailed them with the booking confirmation and final charge to my credit card, asking for the €34 to be refunded. Even at €103 it was a rip off but at €137, they're taking the ****. I'm getting nowhere with them so trying my credit card company to see what they can do. These people are thieves!

WORST TAXI EXPERIENCE EVER

We booked a Taxi with them more than a week in advance, for a ride after a party in Brussels.
They did not show up within 1 hour after the agreed pickup time, we called them 3 times and the different EXTREMELY UNFRIENDLY people at the call center 1) just told us to be patient 2) ended the call 3) said it was busy and that we need to wait.
All of them refused to give us the details of the taxi driver so we couldn't even know when he was about to arrive.
Taxis Verts, NEVER AGAIN. They are crooks and cannot be trusted.

I ordered a taxi but cancelled due to…

I ordered a taxi but cancelled due to waiting time of 25 minutes. I was still debited EUR85. I have requested a refund and followed up multiple times without assistance. I have still NOT been refunded my money and it has been a month.

TAXIS WITH RAMPS - NOT!

My husband is disabled and we use taxis with a ramp for his wheelchair. Taxis Verts specifically told me (in an email) they had taxis with ramps to suit for our stay in Brussels. They gave me the number to call and told me to allow an extra 30mins to wait. When I called them last Saturday to book one they said they had NO taxis with ramps!!!! No apology, no other options suggested - Awful company.

A total bunch of crooks

A total bunch of crooks!
I called to a book van to pick us up 20kms outside of Brx a day in advance, and was told I had to download the app and do it there as well as pay in advance-fair enough.
The app tells me it will be 73Euro, but when I proceed to confirm and pay, its suddenly 87Euro they communicate to my bank app ( ive since checked and indeed that was taken from my account) The confirmation email with time, location and price paid etc. still says however 73!
So they have even systemically manipulated to communication between what a customer says they have to pay, and what your bank is told through the online payment system!
Next- 10mins after confirmed and prepaid pick up time ( 1 day in advance), we re' waiting , and no car turns up. 10mins after due pick up time we're on the phone to the callcentre for 12 mins, put on hold with no appology or explanation. Suddenly the app shows a car coming to us (ie. the callcentre only processed our request 15mins after prepaid pick up time!) As it was 20mins outside of Brx, the driver only arrived 45mins later - to a prebooked, prepaid ( 90euro!) order.
In the car the driver put us through to the callcentre, wher a rude man proceeded to lie about why they were late ( traffic, which we know is not the case at 2am on the ring of Brx!)
This company is a bunch of corrupt mafia!! . For sure the poor drivers get all the bad rep, who have simply get order, but really there is a whole dirty operation behind the scenes that will steal your money, lie to you and not deliver service you paid for.
Please do yourself a favour and NEVER choose this company!
Convenietly they have removed themselves from google maps,so its tricker for customers to leave transparent reviews!

booked a taxi, never showed up

I booked a taxi with their online tool one hour in advance. When the time came, no taxi. I called and they just told me “sorry, there are no cars in your area”. That’s why I had booked in the first place! 30 minutes after the agreed time, when I was rushing to the station on the bus, a driver called me to say he was at the house. Don’t let people book if you‘re not actually reserving a car for them!
