Attentive Customer Service
I contacted the company to make them aware of a problem I had with a box of Yorkshire tea. My message was responded to within the hour, and I was sent a replacement product. Unfortunately, this had a short shelf life, so I made them aware, and a second replacement was kindly sent out. I am very happy with the service I received.
Loyal customer..lost.
A pot of Taylors "Hot lava java" has been a part of my morning routine for as long as I can remember.. However in the last few years the cost has increased from £3.50 per 227g to now a whopping £5.75 for 200g!! It's completely unsustainable. Taylors; you have lost a long term, loyal customer.
I tried the Italian Lazy Sunday
I tried the Italian Lazy Sunday, strength 4! after drinking Exhale Ground coffee it was bitter and weak. However, I persevered and thought I’d take it up a couple of notches, Hot Lava, Strength 6! 🔥😁 MUCH better, more depth of flavour,I have Exhale on subscription, but I will definitely be buying this again to keep in the cupboard, when I’m being being ultra selfish with the mega expensive stuff, but Hot Lava really does come a very close 2nd, I’ll certainly be thinking about my subscription in the new year! I’m a very happy coffee junkie 😂
Tasteless ..poor despite name
This is for Italian blend..
Dreadfully disappointing. Poor low flavour.supposed to be strength 4!!
I know it's a blend but...

Taste (green bags) was passable for backpacking but won't buy again as I found out the bags contain microplastics
Is there no end to deviousness
Is there no end to deviousness? Not being able to buy my usual decaff at Aldi - £2.49 for 227g, I bought Taylor's at Tesco -'special offer' 2 for £8!! When I got them home, I was dismayed to find there is now only 200g in a bag - an 11% shrinkage. BUT to fool us into thinking we are still getting the same amount, it is still sold in the same size bags which are then inflated with air to make us think the bags are full. Won't be fooled again, Taylor's. There ought to be a law that the packaging has to shrink by the same amount as the contents, so we can SEE how much less we are getting.
FYI Ann Purshouse, I leave my coffee to brew in a jug for 10 minutes, filter into a mug and microwave for up to 30 secs with no harm done to flavour
Bags constantly split.
I only buy when on huge discount so I can't comment on the price but the bags are useless. So often the bags split and ruin my cup of coffee. Kind of pointless having bagged coffee if the bags can't hold themselves together. The flavour is actually pretty decent and I can usually squeeze four cups out of one single bag! You NEED to seal the bags properly though.
Done with it
Done with it. Not worth the price anymore. Rising prices and shrinkflation. After drinking Taylors for 8 years, I'm ditching it for something with better value. Enough is enough.

I've used Taylor's of Harrogate After Dark Coffee for years, but I have recently seen a demise in the quality of the coffee. I didn't mind the reduced quantity as long as the quality was the same, but sadly my last few bags have been less than good. The depth of flavour is definitely reduced & noticeably weaker. my morning black coffee less than perfect which is what I have come to expect from Taylors. I am on the hunt for a new coffee that will deliver the nuances & depth of flavour I enjoy. Do better Taylor's I am very disappointed

Expensively Average
Expensive, shrinking, and very average coffee. Not at all worth the price now being charged. Shall not buy again.
The demise of the Taylors of Harrogate brand.
I really can't understand how a company that use to produce such fantastic coffee beans in such distinguished and easy to locate packaging has arrived at this point, it seems like they now turn out very average supermarket coffee in packaging that looks like it was designed by a six year old and that seems to change every few months,
I've stopped using this coffee now, it's just too much like hard work.

Your customers are not stupid
Weight loss by Taylors.
Just been to the shop to buy my usual bags of Lazy Sunday coffee. It appears that the weight of the contents has gone down from 227g to 200g, unfortunately the price hasn't followed suit. It's a shame they have decided to raise the price by stealth hoping no one would notice.

Excellent customer service
I emailed them to comment that a recent batch of their lovely "Rich Italian Coffee bags" had had some production issues .... and they responded the same day suggesting what had gone wrong and offering to prove replacements. Excellent quick, hassle-free and effective customer service.
