I totally agree with the other most recent reviews for TBCO - their Customer Service does not exist - sent 3 emails, message twice on WhatsApp and still nothing.
Would never buy from again or recommend this company - be warned!

I've been a client of the Tartan Blanket Company for around 5 years now. Blankets (for the bedroom and picnic), scarves, stockings... Their products are always beautifully made, of very high quality. I never had any problems with delivery either, highly recommend.

Non existent customer service

Returned a scarf and was sent a gift voucher, even though I requested a refund. Have sent numerous emails and what’s app messages but nobody replies. Non existent customer service.
Would never purchase with them again

I ordered the picnic blanket and quality of the material and overall look is great. I am very happy with the purchase. However I must highlight the wonderful customer service as well. I was worried about the arrival of the parcel as there was no update on the third day after my purchase. I contacted the customer services who responded swiftly and made sure my parcel arrived just in time for my trip. Definitely would recommend.

Awful return experience.
Had to chase from the start, with them not acknowledging that they had received it. Then I was only refunded HALF what I paid for expensive pyjamas, again with no communication. After numerous attempts to contact them about this, they finally responded to say it was because I didn’t include the scrunchy (which I didn’t even want in the first place!!). Absolutely ridiculous. The most expensive and painful ordeal ever. Do not order from this brand!!!

I bought a blanket cashmere scarf for myself and a cashmere scarf for my husband for his birthday after loving the quality and the service. Would buy again and felt compelled to write a review. Thanks

Beautiful and sustainably constructed products. The packaging is lovely and delivery was quick - will definitely be ordering in future for myself and for gifts!

This was my third order from TBCo. When I ordered previously the experience was excellent. The blankets were lovely and promptly sent to Scotland and Canada. No issues whatsoever. This time I sent a gift to Canada with a value slightly over the customs allowance. The recipient was asked to pay about 50 percent of the total value of the item in duties which she declined to do. Canada customs says the import rate on such items is 16-18%. I know TBCo are not responsible for import duties but the recipient said the form was not marked as a gift for import purposes. I emailed TBCo twice to see what would happen. Still haven't received a reply more than a week later. I received a message from UPS to say that they had returned the item to TBCo five days ago but TBCo did not inform me. I emailed them to find out what could be done but had no reply so I tried whats app but still no reply, so three weeks on my sister has no gift, I am out of pocket, and TBCo has the item. Disappointed as I would have liked to use this company again but with the complete absence of customer service, lack of refund, or attempt to redeliver to myself (as I requested) I won't be doing so.

I am compelled to share my recent experience with The Tartan Blanket Co, and unfortunately, it has been far from satisfactory.
Over a month ago, I placed an order that, to date, has not been delivered. Despite my persistent efforts to contact customer service through email, phone, and WhatsApp, I have yet to receive any response. This lack of communication has left me frustrated and in the dark about the status of my order.

What adds to the disappointment is the absence of any information regarding my refund request. As a customer, I believe in fair and transparent transactions, but the lack of responsiveness from them has left me feeling neglected.

I have to echo other reviews on here. Everything about buying from this company is 10/10 in my opinion. I ordered a recycled wool blanket which was not at all expensive (around £40) so I wasn’t really expecting something of great quality. I could not have been more wrong, it is beautiful. The colours are so nice and the blanket feels lovely and has a good weight to it. I am really impressed. Delivery was quick and the packaging and presentation was perfect. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone.

Just had my beautiful tartan knee blanket delivered. The delivery was speedy and my scarf was beautifully packaged. And the item itself- such great quality,I am delighted with my purchase,at such a bargain price too.

What a super company to deal with, I emailed a couple of times and they responded quickly and were incredibly helpful. I bought a blanket scarf but found it too bulky, so swapped for the oversized scarf which is absolutely perfect. The scarves are very high quality, I will definately buy from this company again

The Tartan Blanket Company have so many gorgeous bankets. It was my mum's 80th and I wanted it to look special, and loved that I could include lots of little treats for her to find like a scented candle, hand cream, chocolate and bath products (I think that is what I chose!) It was hard to choose from the blanket designs, and after lengthy decision making and consulting reviews, I was disappointed that my first choice was out of stock for gift boxing. But I chose another, also stunning, and sent it to arrive in time. Unfortunately the next one ran out too, and they contacted me the day before my mum's birthday to explain. I was extremely stressed out and didn't have time to look again for another blanket. I may not have been very polite. The lovely staff remained polite, warm and helpful, they put my original choice of blanket in the box and arranged next day delivery. And all done without fuss and without me having to chase up. My mum adored her blanket, whih arrived on her birthday. I had read something about a manufacturing smell, and they were better once washed, but she insisted hers smelled of lovely fresh wool, and was soft and huge and beautiful. She was genuinely really, really delighted. And so was I. I also love that you can buy a high quality recycled wool blanket, which can even be machine washed (fab as my mum has dogs), because animal welfare is high on my priorities, as is the environment. The prices for all this great product and service are good, and I was almost sceptical at first. I love when I can leave a good review. Big companies are so hard to communicate with, and seem so careless quite often. The Tartan Blanket Company were such a refreshing change to deal with, that I really wanted to make a point of letting them and potential customers know.

Just received the Tartan Blanket Box which I purchased for a friend’s birthday. I selected the lambswool blanket with a candle, bath salts and the book of Scottish Tales. All absolutely stunning and makes for such a lovely gift They were beautifully packaged in an attractive box with tissue paper and the blanket is so soft and of the highest quality. The packaging is very eco-friendly, delivery was quick and the Website very easy to manage. I am so impressed by this company that I will be using them again and will recommend them to friends.

Beautifully crafted tartan blankets at very reasonable prices. I have bought two now and have been delighted with both. The newest I use as a throw on the bottom of my bed and it looks amazing. Thanks for a great product.

I've bought three blankets in both large & knee blanket size. Really warm and nice quality, wide choice of patterns available and dispatch and delivery was quick despite living on the other side of the UK. Have not washed them yet but will update if my opinion changes after washing.

I ordered a custom gift box for my Mum's Christmas present, and it went down a treat! The order process was simple and clear, and I was easily able to add and remove items from the box prior to checkout. The products received are very high quality, and made for a lovely gift. I love the blanket so much I'm probably going to get one for myself too in the near future! Plus, living in Edinburgh it's always nice to support local businesses and it's great to see this one do so well.
