I’ve been using TPC smart lighting for many years and it has always worked efficiently and reliably. The setup is simple—you just connect the device to the app, and everything works smoothly. The integrated app works great with Google smart speakers and Google Home, which makes controlling the lights really easy.

The products are high quality, there’s no subscription required, and they’re very affordable. Overall, I definitely recommend TPC smart lighting—cheap, easy to use, and reliable

There wi-fi light bulbs suck and keep going off line all the time, I won't waste money buying from TCP

Bought TCP Smart Dehumidifier
Read Hi on humidity reader so would not even operate. Then changed to 79. Went out and left it for 4 hours and the reading had gone up to 86! Not a drop of moisture collected.
Can see why this product is being sold off cheap! Took back and got refund. Complete loss off faith in product

Bought the TCP oil filled radiator from B&Q. Absolutely awful product. Has to be Set up via WiFi but keeps knocking off even though no issues with home WiFi. Worthless product. Will never buy a TCP item again as unable to contact anyone to discuss issues.

I bought a TCP Smart electric towel rail from Victorian Plumbing which after 18 months could no longer be controlled; the LEDs one by one failed and thus it could not be programmed; one did not even know if it was on or not. I contacted TCP who told me that it had a 2 year warranty but I should go to the retailer. The retailer only provided a 1 year warranty and I expected the worst; being shuffled from one to the other, especially having seen the negative reviews. Instead, Victorian Plumbing spoke to TCP on my behalf and a week later TCP sent me a replacement, now functioning radiator. Excellent customer service from my perspective.

It is awful!

Got an email saying Next day delivery in title. and order now get tomorrow repeated in message. So I placed order on 30th Apr. Contacted them on 1st and was promised tracking link. Tried to contact them again on 2nd & 3rd May but did not get any response, or tracking number. I ordered to be delivered to my daughters as I would be there for a few days but due to go home soon. Because they did not deliver as next day as promised, or even over the next 2 days, this is going to cause me problems. Not being able to contact them just makes this worse. Spent £100, got nothing, no idea when I will get it. I don't know what else to say.

I've got 3 all working fine touch wood and have 2 tapo smart plugs also just purchased tcp smart dehumidifier to replace my ebac very happy with. Yes you can buy better quality ones but for black Friday deal costing £99.00 I'm happy 😊

DO NOT BUY…. recently changed our router and effectively the strip lights in our kitchen will not work on the higher MGHZ unless you turn off the lower frequency which apparently virgin are unlikely to do. Also you can’t even switch them on manually as they will continue to flash. Complete joke, and waste of money.

Dont waste your money buying their smar plugs. Any time there is a power cut, when the power comes back on, even if the lamps were off at that time, all lamps turn on. Worse, if you are away on holiday at the time. They also constantly drop the WiFi connection.

I bought 2 TCP smart plugs and they didn't last very long compared to other make / model smart items purchased at the same time. Both plugs failed around the same time, about 2 years after purchase date, and i had to re set them many times.
Unless the later models have improved??? Don't bother, would definitely NOT recommend.

Don't bother to buy their extension leads - worked fine when first set up but then changed wifi network and it was impossible to reset the extension lead and get it back into wifi pairing mode. The instructions were next to useless and the website even worse in providing info on how to troubleshoot the issue. Have given up and purchased from a company who actually makes things that work.

Smart 2 gang wall switch, not upto the job, worked well for a year and a half , then suddenly stopped , when I inspected the circuit , two 270uf 10v capacitors had blown on the control side, which I repaired , cheap inferior components

I rated TCP Smart 5 stars only because i knew what i wanted to do. which is buy reasonably priced smart devices that just work for convenience. I learned the following:
1. must have google nest or home. i have 3 scattered in the flat. a dedicated gmail account.

2. must use TCP app and more importantly Google home app.
3. a fast broadband + a really good router as like argos tp link archer AC1200 (on the cheap) for range

i can now really say weve automated the place. TCP smart devices actually helped us lower bills due to timers and being able to control things from remotely. I monitor bills via smart meter.

they work really well with google home
and turns dumb devices into smart. i can turn on lights and view remotely. The smooth operation with google home makes it possible to be voice controlled. i dont recommend alexa but it works with it too.

its really handy once your setup right.

why google home? - because it can run not only TCP, but Samsung devices like smarthub fridge, Govee Lights and LeFant robot vacuums (on the cheap too)

Thanks TCP. but i think your marketing people need more work… they are doing you a terrible service. please bring back the multiplug extension leads these are sold in extortionate rates if found online.

Bought a set of led tape lights , couldn't programme them , replacement set came on green ,even though the app said they were switched off , 3rd set worked ok for a week but now they too have come on green and again app says they are off ! Frustrated or what ! I've also noticed that there has been no response from the company to any of the trust pilot reviews , pretty poor after service too !

Purchased two smart plugs. You can use the phone app to switch them on but they won't pair with Alexa. Waste of money.

Purchase a Wi-Fi Smart oil heater online and arrived with dents in the fins. TCP blamed the courier but the box had no damage. Took a week to get a replacement that only lasted 3 days as it started making electrical sparking noises in the night inside the unit what seemed very dangerous to use so will return for a refund.
Cheap rubbish product that we would not recommend.

In the beginning you just downloaded the app and away you went. Now you have to login with an account. Also despite the blurb claiming GDPR compliance you have to agree to all cookies or you can't use the app. So that's a big fat lie. Deleted app. Selling the so-called smart bulbs to anyone who wants them. Not a great company in my honest opinion.

So these 'Smart bulbs are the least smart products I have ever used.
Turning on a light has been the simplist of actions for decades. Along comes TCP and make it the most painful, frustrating and inconvenient task.
The app constantly looses the bulb connection so have no lights! You couldn't make it up.

I have grown tired of constantly having to reinstall it just so I can turn on a light.

It is so useless that I am looking into their false claims about this product.

Simply appalling, buy normal cheap lightbulbs. At least they turn on and off !

What a pice of rubbish. If you waste your money on TCP (light bulbs etc) you are a fool ( I did which makes me the biggest fool of all ). There products just don't work. 5 smart light bulbs and can't get any of them to work. A scam company 100%. Please don't buy any of their products, you will regret it.
