My experience with the team has been fantastic, they clearly explained the process and able to align with my holidays or change dates as needed. I am financially so much better off with the teachersspl team this maternity leave!

Took the stress out of working out my entitlement and the paperwork involved especially as my employer couldn't get it right! I was assigned a real person who worked through my contract, salary and dates, they were supportive, informative and it was all done in a timely manner. I would recommend it to everyone!

I was really worried about applying for SPL especially as a member of the leadership team but the support and guidance from Teacher’s SPL reassured me so much and made the process extremely straight forward! I paid for all of the forms, letters etc to be completed for me to take any stress out of it all. I will absolutely be doing this again for my second baby!!!!!

Everything went smoothly. Anything I didn’t understand they were only an email to way to explain. Took a lot of pressure off myself while being pregnant.

Teacher’s SPL I CANNOT recommend enough! They have been brilliant during my mat leave and helping me sort shared parental leave pay.
When you’re on mat leave there’s so much going on and they took the stress away of applying for SPL away. They went through my school policy, completed my school paperwork to apply and talked me through every step. I just wished I’d known about them from the very beginning. Beth was brilliant! The whole process was simple - much more so than having to fill in the paperwork myself! - and it was great to know that I wouldn't have to worry about a mistake on the form stopping my leave being agreed.
Well worth the money to gain over £7300 over the course of my time off. Every teacher should know about this.

Very efficient and give you everything you need to know for your specific leave.
They were always very responsive to further questions I had. They helped me persuade my employer that you ARE allowed to work up until you give birth (past your due date!).

This service has been absolutely invaluable. My school hadn’t had anyone take SPL before and had no clue what they were doing. Teachers’ SPL made the whole process so easy and totally stress free. Even when I was forced to take early mat leave, they were able to quickly change my dates around to ensure I still got the best value SPL possible. I would recommend this to any teacher and would definitely use them again for any future leave.

Really helpful and super easy. Using Teachers SPL took the stress away from an already busy schedule as they helped me navigate how to complete all documents required for a smooth transaction between me and my school. Honestly a brilliant service. Took all the stress of working out dates, filling in paperwork and trying to figure out the best time to take the blocks to make as much money over my maternity as possible. I have already recommended them to so many other teachers thinking about doing SPL but worried about getting the paperwork/dates wrong.

David and Kinza were fantastic. Navigating the continuous and non continuous leave in order to maximise your SPL often needs an expert eye; and that is exactly what I had with David and Kinza. My school had never had anyone use SPL before. And I had only learnt of this through a teaching friend. I wish I had known of it for my previous maternity leaves! This really is worth the money in their admin costs to ensure all the paperwork is correct.
