I’ve been working with Andrew for around 7 months now. The insight and support has been life changing as I’ve adapted to life with T1D - to have the advice and mentorship from someone with the lived experience is the ultimate platform to find a way for living with this condition. I’m still on a journey but it’s all getting easier with time and the framework of support from Andrew and the type one style community.

I’d highly recommend the support on offer

First and foremost this is a group that cares about all members and their well being.

Type 1 diabetes should never be a barrier to sport and the group continue to bang that drum.

We can and do compete with many others without diabetes and why not!

This team is looking to grow and develop as they do with new ideas coming out all of the time.

Team type one style is a community of individuals living and thriving with type one diabetes. The 3 founders provide support and encouragement through the numerous WhatsApp groups and Zoom calls that happen each week. There is something going on every day for people to engage with and feel supported. The group provides education, tech talk, inspiration and motivation for individuals in their sport of interest, whilst helping them navigate the ups and downs of diabetes. I have felt both physically and mentally better since joining this team!

Teamtypeonestyle I came across them on instagram seen what the team is all about and I instantly wanted to be apart of the amazing work they do/doing the community is simply incredible they’ve helped me through so much regarding my diabetes plus my mental health I am now a very proud/honoured to be an ambassador for teamtypeonestyle

I've had an amazing experience being part of Team Type One Style and is a very special community to be a part of, which is only going to grow.
As well as providing tailored mentorship and sports coaching the team offers a great platform for any sport and diabetes related knowledge with everyone helping each other out. There are weekly calls and including some guests sharing some inspirational stories.
I'm now in my second season of racing on the bike and being mentored by Andrew at TT1S and I have learnt an invaluable amount on all things training, workouts, race tactics and have noticed a huge improvement in general ability on the bike.
One of the biggest improvements though has been my diabetes management, not just on the bike but in day to day life. Only being diagnosed 3 years ago it's all relatively new to me and Andrew with his personal knowledge and experiences has been a great help and has done more than my consultants have in a lot of ways.
If you have diabetes, love sport and want to be part of a great team, full of people of all ages, abilities and great camaraderie, Team Type One Style is the place for you!

I signed up to Andrew’s mentorship programme in September 2023 for diabetes mentorship, accountability, mindset and all round support while getting back into training after a long break for health issues. Andrew has been amazingly supportive giving me the right level of support and motivation along my journey so far. Going forward for this year, I know I have the right support and accountability with Andrew on the phone and on our weekly video calls to achieve the goals we have talked through and set for me together, while also working to improve my overall diabetes control on and off the bike.

Been coached by Andrew for 3 months now. He has a really comprehensive approach to get the best out of you. Nutrition, training, blood sugar management and weekly calls are all there if you want it.

Have been having Training and Calls with Andrew for the past 12 months and my physical and mental health has never been better.

Andrew understands how to get the best out of individuals with Type 1 Diabetes and is always there to provide support and guidance when required.

Weekly calls on Mindfulness, along with personalised training has been invaluable in attaining my goals in a structured manner, with new targets set for 2024.
