Disgusting company with disgusting morals.

They have scammed multiple families, and ruined so many children’s birthday parties.

‘Kate’ has a long history of fraud, and has been involved in many scam companies. She has featured on watchdog in the past.

We booked a party for our eight year old daughter and paid £100 deposit. I then became aware of her horrendous reviews and when I questioned her, she became highly abusive and refused to do the party, or give the deposit back.

Please report her to Action Fraud and your local Trading Standards. Please read the mumsnet thread on TeepeeSleepoverParties to communicate with other victims acting against her.

The police are now involved and are treating this as a criminal matter, and will be relying on our evidence combined.

So please report to get this utter scumbag behind bars.

This is a SCAM company that owes us and many other families a lot of money - do not use!!

Do not use this company.....I booked and paid my deposit and then paid the remaining balance as per their terms and conditions 7 days before. i communicated with her until Thursday night....saying she would let me know what time she would coming and had allocated me the tribal tent. Friday the day of the party she was not replying to my emails the phone number does not exist and she did not turn up.
so my daughter's 11th birthday sleepover with all her friends was ruined.....
please read the reviews. Kate has no morals basically conning people seems to be her business. How she can do this to children is beyond me.
I have sent her numerous emails asking for a refund which I have had no reply to.
please do not be fooled by the website it is very professional looking As you will see there are no reviews on there.....we know why now. Instagram there is no way to comment as they have restricted this.
The upset and distress that has been caused this weekend and the money I have spent basically is ruined.

She’s totally spoilt my whole weekend and my 13 year old girls party.. not to mention the stress... she was suppose to come yesterday And let me down 3 times... such bad people in this world!!

Dangerous woman, avoid at all costs

Avoid!!! Ordered two teepees for my daughters birthday and 3 weeks later they are still sitting in my living room the owner has told me on a number of occasions that she is coming to pick them up so I wait in all day and she never shows. She is very rude and unprofessional and I would not recommend her services to anyone.

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY! I booked them for my daughters party which was about 10 days ago...the communication was awful (never once answered the phone) they turned up over 4 hours late (when I already had a house full of kids) with an attitude and no apology. The "unicorn theme" simply consisted of a couple of pillows and teddy's - not as it looks online. I was told that they would collect it the next day and confirm by 12 what time to expect them...again no communication and they didnt turn up - I had 5 teepees taking over my living room! Finally they turned up late afternoon the following day....highly unprofessional, stressfull, and the quality is nothing close to what is shown on the website. This was an awful experience, and I would advise everyone to avoid using them!

NO MORALS... DONT BE FOOLED.. I’m only giving this one star because I’ve got to, I booked and paid 50% deposit months ago for my daughters 13th Birthday, i had minimal contact up until the week before the party, I was then contacted asking for the remaining monies and what theme I wanted. I was then told I would get a set up time on the Monday before the Friday, it got to Wednesday and I heard nothing so I emailed them I eventually got a reply Thursday saying they’d be here between 1-3 on Friday but this went to my junk file which I didn’t know so I emailed again Friday morning saying I’m now panicking as I’ve not heard from them, Kate emailed saying “I did message u and I replied “ oh sorry I’ve not received anything so what time are you coming? I then got a really awful email back, saying “ please don’t be rude! If u don’t want our service then I think it’s best u don’t waste our time and that she didn’t think I was a genuine customer!!! I replied “I’ve paid in full how can I not be genuine... then I apologised just because it was the day of my daughters party and I couldn’t be let down, I waited in all day till 4.30 still nothing so I emailed again “ Are u stuck in traffic?? Yes it’s horrific she replied.. that’s it... so I waited & waited then emailed again at 7.30pm asking “ can u let me know what’s happening it’s how 7.30, to be told they were stuck in traffic over two hours away and she asked me is your party tonight?? Omg I thought is she joking... I asked for my money back which I’ve not had nor a apology or any kind of contact. That was 10 days ago. The website looks amazing I’ve since spoken to another teepee company and they’ve had to bail them out for the same reasons. My daughters birthday should of been a happy day for me but it turned out to be stressful with lots of tears. How can two women be so cruel, they obviously have no children and no heart

If I had the option of giving ‘no stars’ I would. I paid in advance for my daughters party. When Teepee Sleepovers were meant to arrive to set up I received an email saying it was too hot for them to come. I have sent numerous emails requesting a refund, which they promised but, to date, I have not even had a reply, never mind a refund.

The website looks deceivingly professional but unfortunately they are not.

Avoid at all costs, With hindsight I should have researched them better as there are various bad reviews on the internet. What a rip off!!!

I booked this company to provide a decorated bell tent for a child’s birthday party.

The booking was quite hard and I had to have contact several times by email with the company and eventually managed to pay and book for a delivery at 12 noon on Monday 23rd of July. The guests had been invited for 3 PM but as of today (Tuesday 24/7) at 10 AM we still do not have the tent nor a refund.

Obviously during the time spent waiting we have done some research and discovered that this woman Kate who seems to run this business seems to do this to many of her customers and quite honestly I think one might say it’s a scam so one star is too generous but there was no other way of writing the review.

There do seem to be other companies offering a similar service hopefully they are genuine but this woman also runs a company called wigwam so beware of that as well. I have also been told that she was involved with a company called grumpy but glamorous which was apparently exposed on rip-off Britain a few years ago.
