TenderHawk is a UK public contract intelligence service built for small businesses that want to understand public-sector work without spending hours inside procurement portals. Public contracts can be difficult to follow. Opportunities are spread across different sources, written in procurement language, and often buried among notices that are too large, too specialist, too far away or simply not a practical fit for a small firm. TenderHawk is being built to make that information easier to read, filter and act on. TenderHawk monitors supported public contract sources including Find a Tender, Contracts Finder, Public Contracts Scotland official notices and a carefully described Sell2Wales public fallback. It reads public notices, filters them for small-business suitability, and turns useful opportunities into plain-English alerts. The aim is to help firms see what the buyer is asking for, where the opportunity was published, what kind of work is involved, and whether it looks like something a smaller supplier should spend time reviewing. The service is designed for UK small businesses such as electricians, cleaners, caterers, IT support firms, grounds maintenance providers, fire-safety contractors, security companies, training providers, consultants and other local firms with limited time to search procurement data manually. TenderHawk is contract-led. It does not ask small firms to become procurement experts before they can understand the market. Instead, it focuses on source-backed public opportunities and award examples, then explains them in normal business language. Where a route, requirement or source is not clear from the public notice, TenderHawk should say less rather than fill the gap with guesswork. TenderHawk is being grown carefully. The product is built around source-backed information, plain-English explanation, account control, and a practical respect for the time of small UK firms
