I signed contracts with Tenfold during March-May 2024. I was happy with their service until October 2024, which is when I stopped getting timely responses and lots of increased pressure to "invest more money' into marketing my 2 books (only one made it to publishing, and only at Amazon). None of the other perks included in the contracts were honored.
I wrote a very negative review about Tenfold in March 2025 because I knew something fraudulent was occurring. By then, Kyle Ahmose was the only contact who returned my calls, and he asked me to please remove my review because his name was included. I removed my review because Kyle assured me that Mark Murffin, Jase Davis and Don had been skimming money from Tenfold and those men were being investigated. However, they seem to have vanished. Fast forward, I told Kyle that I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and would need to take several months away from editing the 2nd book until I felt better. Fast forward...after a horrible summer of recovering from Chemo/radiation, I tried reaching out to Kyle so we could start working on the 2nd book again. Phone number & email no longer active. That company/group of men are fraudulent crooks and have stolen $9,000 from me due to their promises and my being very naive.
UPDATE: Tenfold has dissolved--website down, all numbers disconnected--and seems to have remerged as Disigni.

Beware of this scam company. I paid them to produce a short video clip and provided samples, and they did NOTHING with it and submitted no work at all. After several months of BS excuses and lies. I eventually gave up and lost all of my money and received no work. This is a SCAM company.

For approximately 9 months, this company has led me on. They provide you with different animation stills, they inquire about scripts, and even the different types of animation style. On face value, it seemed like a legit business. However, over time you will realize that they are playing the long game. This company, if you can even call it that, is fraudulent. I set up a plan for payment over a span of 6 months totaling $7,000 for an animation project. After the payment, the company ghosted me. They did not answer my emails or text messages. And their phones disconnected. I did some research and found that their phone numbers that they were calling me from were VOIP (fake numbers). I also discovered that their headquarters location on Google maps is different than their said location on the website. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY OR BUSINESS!!! This is a scam. Even if you have it in writing, it is nearly impossible to seek any legal action. They will con you. No matter how many "employees" talk to you. Do not fall for their scheme. I lost $7,000 that I will not get back. Please don't let this be you.

I am extremely disappointed. I have been under Contract with them since 12/17/24 for a 45sec marketing video. i received my first script fairly soon after, i went through it and made a few edits , basically correcting terminology for my industry. I sent it back and said this looks great go ahead, they responded with oh that script is for 1min30 sec it will cost more. I asked that they please make it for 45sec like i wanted after several back and forth we got a 1 min script which i agreed to and gave the ok to proceeded with the story board, 5 weeks later i received the story board which was the absolute worst thing i have seen. it wasn't anything i could use, it didn't have my product in it at all it was missing a lot of the script and it wasn't very close to my industry at which point i asked them to stop and please refund my money. i Have received no response since then. Do not use this company it is a scam

I must say I’m highly disappointed with this company’s lack of communication and the constant failure at getting the project correct that I have sent them. I have been under contract with 10fold animation for 10 months now and the project was only supposed to take to. I have worked with two different teams but the same results. Now no one is answering emails or phone calls. I lost clients behind the deadline being pushed back and not fulfilled. Stay away from this company I have wasted enough time and money behind unprofessional results that this company provides.

First I want to say I am a new nonprofit who works for the charitable cause of rescuing wildlife and educating on things that harm them. I am running on a shoestring and every dollar matters and can make the difference between getting help wildlife need or not. The money Tenfold grifted from me comes at the direct expense of this cause and from donors who want to help out. Now there's wildlife I may not be able to help because my coffers are missing the $$ this company erroneously charged and refuses to refund. If I could give 0 stars I would. Back in early July 2024, I contracted with Tenfold to produce a 90 second animated short for a summer deal price of $799 (this would include 1 minute plus another complimentary 30 seconds). I paid a $400 deposit and was told I could pay off the $399 balance closer to completion (this is all in writing). This deal was made with a guy named Jase. I was then handed over to someone named Don Romano, who kept offering me scripts based on my ideas that were about double that time length. So I wrote my own script, which was significantly shorter and mindful of the time limit. Despite the much shorter script, Don insisted that the short would come to over 2.5 min. They wouldn't proceed until I paid another $799 for that extra minute. While I pushed back a little, I thought maybe I didn't know what the run time would be. Though I was on a tight budget I didn't want to produce something that was rushed or flimsy, so I ok'd the charge and paid. That's when the problems began. First, the final product was due in August and it was well over a month past that. Second, for the product itself, they kept messing up the audio. It took an inordinate amount of time to get the audio fixed. Then for the "final" cut they messed up again and it was back to the drawing board for another several days. There was also several visual stuff they kept not getting. While the final product turned out ok, it was only with a lot of labor and persistence on my part. Otherwise, it would have been sloppy and unprofessional. But here's the kicker: the short wound up being just under 90 seconds. This means they overcharged me as I had timed my script correctly. So starting in August when they first sent me the beginning drafts of the whole piece and I realized it was under the original time we agreed on, I started asking for a refund for the $400 (my initial deposit) since the product was now covered by the second installment of $799 I paid. Don suddenly was unavailable--FOR A MONTH. First he was "sick"--then "on vacation." After several weeks of chasing him, I instead circled back to Jase, who then looped in Don again. Don finally--in writing--promised me to refund my $$. They said they instead could offer some other services but I clarified right away I just wanted a refund for the money I was due. This was on September 26th. A few weeks went by and I didn't hear anything and noticed there was no refund in my account so checked in. Don again said he would "start the process" of refund when I prompted him again. This is when I started to really think something sketchy was going on as we already agreed to a refund weeks before. This was on October 15th. When I pushed back and reminded him we already agreed to a refund he said they did put in for one on October 1st (why almost a week after we agreed?). He said it would take 30-40 days to go through. In all my years I have never heard of a refund, esp one for an error on the company's part--needing to take a month or more to process. NEVER. But I bit my tongue. This means the refund should have gone into my account in early November. I bet you can guess it didn't. I checked in with Don again in mid/late November. And again in December. Each time Don would "apologize' (if he responded, usually he would only respond to every other email I sent). He would keep referring to the ridiculous 30-40 day refund timeline even though we had far surpassed that twice over. Right before the holidays, he even sent me a fake "receipt" which didn't show anything other than my request. I called that out and said at this point I needed the refund expedited ASAP. No response from Tenfold. So I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint. The BBB has been trying to get a response from them for weeks to mediate the situation and they have been completely non-responsive. In the past 20 years, I have filed 3-4 BBB complaints. I have never had a non-response. Tenfold is corrupt: unprofessional and unethical and is ok with violating contract law. Stay away. I wish I had seen reviews like mine and the more recent ones on this site. I think they pay or put in phony 5-star reviews but they tricked me. No, no, no!
I have been working with tenfold animation for over 6 months. I provided the art and all associated content. They fed it into an AI generator to create stills. No animation. I have requested a refund they have said they will refund my money but they have not. I have all of the emails including the one where they said they would refund my money. No one will call me back and they do not respond to my emails. I just want my money back for a substandard non-compliant product.

Lied to Me, Stole my Money did little to no work.

They are the worst company to do business with. I paid an expedited fee and it took 3 weeks longer then they committed to in writing. In addition, when they asked for feedback, they IGNORED it, which was in writing multiple times. They committed to returning my expedited fee and now will not answer calls or e-mails.

This was a great experience they helped me understand the process and explained the steps to me. When I was lacking on ideas of what direction they helped guide me!

This is such an amazing company to work with! I had the pleasure of working with Mark and his team, and they all went above and beyond to make sure they heard what I had to say and made it a reality! I’m forever grateful and would highly recommend!

I sent a script for a short animated film. I was quoted a price. I said okay but this was my absolute limit. I signed a contract and sent a deposit. I was then told it would be much more expensive. Hal spent an hour trying to convince me to spend much more, “guaranteed” I would make between $30,000 and $1,000,000. He finally said they would proceed only if I sent the whole amount before they did a single drawing. I declined. They promised a refund but have kept my money.

Tenfold Animations hit a home run with my company Eagle Storage our experience working with them on everything from logo to a new video was amazing. I highly recommend there crew for any project you have.

I have to say... Mark Murffin is an absolute Rockstar! I am so excited about the results of my first (of many) projects I want to do with him.
Also, after doing a lot of shopping around, Mark and Tenfold Animations are hands down the best financial value. Don't tell him, but I would have thought this explainer video would have cost more!
