I’d give them negative 5 STARS of if I…

I’d give them negative 5 STARS of if I could. I made an appointment for 8 am to 10 am. I took off work and I waited 10 comes around no call no show 12 comes around no call no show. I called them. The dispatch tried reaching the guy scheduled to come he would not respond to them! Day of work wasted I get an apology. How can you trust them to do what you’re paying for when they can’t even show up for initial appointment and no call or anything UNPROFESSIONAL and they don’t care.

My wife got locked into a year…

My wife got locked into a year contract, when we tried to call to cancel they told us we aren't allowed to cancel until our last payment has been made. I don't think we needed this to start with (we have a brick house in Tennessee, which I think means termites are less of a risk). I wanted to make sure other people knew about our experience.

Terrible company

Terrible company. Made an appointment, gave them my credit card got a confirmation and they didn’t show up. I had no time to find another company and they ruined a party and I am allergic so it was important they come. I do not recommend.

If I could give -10000000000 infinity stars to the horrible service I have gotten from this laughable company I would. You LIE, you have ZERO integrity, and you are THIEVES. I am more than sorry I let you scam me out of $11,000 dollars for NOTHING. I hired you to do a job. You stole my money and ran…no job done. I’ve made multiple attempts to call and I’m promised by “customer service 🤣” that I will be called back. I have escalated and demanded a return call from my local branch manager. CRICKETS, nothing, zip, nada. I want a refund. I’m so sorry I didn’t read reviews before I hired you. There are more bad than good reviews about the absolute ABYSMAL “service 🤣” you barely provided. Here’s the most useful piece of advice if you’re looking for pest control…DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER TERMINEX! What you call service, I call stealing. Absolutely pathetic and not one of your management members will take accountability for your criminal behavior. You belong in jail, you scammers. I can’t even get a return call. Pitiful…

Bats in the Bedroom: Near Rabies Exposure TWICE Thanks to Terminix

I will NEVER, ever use Terminix again. Do not make the same mistake I did.

Nearly 2 years ago we had a live bat appear in our home. As new homeowners in a new town, we turned to what we thought was a trusted national brand. They sent someone out and quoted $3,400 for a complete exclusion, all new insulation, sealing work, etc. That was a lot, but we were willing to pay to ensure we’d never see a live bat in our living space again.

Maybe 10% of the work was done. One space of many actually got the new insulation. Nothing was sealed—to the point that our entire roof is open to bats flying in. No plans were made to return and finish the job. My calls and escalations are continually ignored. Worst of all, we’ve now had 4 separate occasions of finding live bats in our home—two times of those have been in our BEDROOM.

We’ve paid hundreds of extra dollars to other pest control companies to remove the bats because Terminix won’t come out or “isn’t available.” We’ve taken two bats to the health department to ensure we don’t have rabies since we can’t confirm a bite and the bats were in our bedroom.

I can’t believe how appalling this service has been.

Terminix sold me in services they could…

Terminix sold me in services they could not perform. Then charged me for services they did not perform. Then an honest technician came and canceled my service and set up refunds.

Literally 10 days later Terminix emptied my acct to pay for these services that were not performed and subsequently were cancled. When i called them about it they became defensive and did not want to refund the money.

Now the money is being refunded in increments that is taking several months to pay back despite them taking it as a one lump sum.

Terminix preys on single mothers and older people. STAY AWAY.

Terrible company

Terrible company. They have no manager to talk to and their billing department is not accurate and try to collect extra money and threatened you to send it to collection agency. Called them 5 times and no resolution. Willing to send them proof of payment and they reject it.

If there is zero star

If there is zero star, I would like to choose it as my final rating after 6 years' contract with them. The customer service has poor communication and provide false information to charge you as much as they can, especially the last one. Terminix can reschedule your service date without notifying you. Terminix is not responsive after I attempted several calls/emails follow-up for the same issue.

Terminix is not reliable

Terminix is not reliable! They are unconcerned, unorganized and mismanaged. We have had both a Termite Contract and a Pest Control Contract since the early 2000’s. Although we have continued to pay, they have not done their part to treat—they do come out once a year but does absolutely nothing. At one point, they would place sticks that they would come back to check but that stopped many years ago. Recently, a neighbor had an infestation and we saw a swarm in our driveway so we called them to come and check. They have repeatedly sent the Pest Technician who cannot verify or treat termites. Each time, we have had to wait at least another week for another wrong Technician. Corporate cannot be reached, Manager’s won’t take calls, and, Technician’s don’t show up. Today, we had an appointment from 10:00 until noon and at 1:00 pm, still no Technician or call. They are not worth the hassle! Not recommended!

They rip you off

This company is horrible. They rip people off. They charged me for services after I canceled and said would refund and still haven't gotten it. I called to cancel my service and they said we can't cancel until all the traps are picked up. So I set up a time for them to come get them which they did but then they charged me for the next month. They never told me I had to call back after the traps were picked up to cancel services. Pretty horrible service and ripped me off and couldn't make it right for a measly $79

I want to acknowledge the service of Eric Huzar

I want to acknowledge the service I receive from Eric Huzar, one of your Terminix technicians. Eric has provided services for over two years and he is exceptional. He remembers all the details of our house, always follows up on any issues, in short, he goes the full mile. He is a credit to Terminix and I want you to know how special he is to us. For example, he was performing a follow up insect spraying on June 13th, 2025. When I mentioned to him that my wife was complaining about noises in the attic and we couldn’t see any signs of entry, within minutes Eric pointed out the problem with one of our vents and provided advice on how to fix it. This was beyond the scope of his service call

Jeremiah is wonderful.

We have a tech name Jeremiah who is very personal and friendly with us every time he comes to the house,
he loves what he does and is very good at it. He is always on time and is a delight to talk to, we just love it when he is here. you have a wonderful employee we do hope that you will take care of him just he is taking care
of his customers. We thank you so much .

Can’t even get an inspection

Scheduled an appointment online for a termite inspection. No one showed up. According to them I’m not in the system at all…..yet I have an email confirming my appointment (I wish I can post a screenshot of it). The lady tried to help me (I’ll give her credit for that). She transferred me to scheduling and then I got transferred to a surgery then hung up on. That’s unfortunate cause they just lost a customer who has a house that needs long term termite protection.

Worst company ever

Omg! You can’t reach your local office on the phone- you’re routed to some call center. They schedule you without confirming, it’s impossible to speak with anyone who will be speaking to your technician- and they just have zero customer service. Avoid at all costs. The Ventura, California office I assume is run by trolls. Worst company ever.

lack of respect

they have been nothing but a pain in my ass. we have bed bugs. the first guy they sent out was a joke. so they sent out a manager on may 9 he did a great job. he said he would be back in 2 weeks that was may 23 no one came no one called. so my son called them . they set up an appointment for may 31 time anywhere between 10;00 and 3;00. this is why i am so pissed off first they did not return when they said they would then they made an appointment and did not show up, well a very good friend of mine died his funeral was saturday may 31, at 1:00 guess where i was waiting on them. i did not get to attend. oh my gosh i am mad to the max. i just sat here and cried. we call at a little after 3:00 whoever takes their phone calls knew nothing and did not know how to get in touch with him. they had no phone number to call him. now i know better than that. they are not doing your job. i want someone out here now and not shawn. oh and also i think they should return 500.00 back to my card. this has caused me so much pain and grief. we ask for a manager to call us saturday and no one called. no wonder they have bad reviews.

The termite feed stations were…

The termite feed stations were installed incorrectly, probably more than two months ago. The landscaping company reinstalled the mulch and the mosquito guy was asked ( 4 times) to tell the installer to fix the problem, but nothing was done. The company billed accurately, but otherwise I don't recommend using them. They're a big company with typically unresponsive staff.

3 times they came out to get rid of termites in one place in one room a guy comes with a little spray can. Termites keep eating the wood I called them this week for a week no call back no appointments nothing no complaint department all I am told is that they are very busy. What a waste of money and time. These people are not serious what a waste of of time

They won’t honor their warranty

They won’t honor their warranty. They just ignore you. They don’t call back. You call multiple times and they tell you they will be calling you back to schedule and they don’t. All they care about is new customer. I will find a new provider
