Poor experience with Tesco Insurance after a non-fault accident. Despite being the innocent party, I was still left out of pocket paying my excess for a long period of time. Delays with repairs and claim handling only added to the stress. Very disappointing overall.
Tesco virtually doubled my insurance after the first year.
I called them to ask why. Got no reason.
I got a quote from another company half the price.

Tesco incompetence. Rnl invitation issued “you need to pay the rnl premium to renewal the policy “
Premium doubled so placed elsewhere at 1/3 of the invited premium with reduced x/s’s.
Then received a letter asking for 64p!
Rang Tesco -advised they would not make a charge for £ less than £5 - so agreed to waive!
Letter then received a thank you letter for renewing the policy??
Then letter telling me they wished to speak to me
Rang Tesco who then claimed the policy automatically renewed (see earlier note stating to renew I needed to pay)
etc etc etc what a shambles
Very disappointed with the service. Feel very let down by their customer services. Won’t buy from them again.
