Excellent teaching by Princila Roseline. Never thought Selenium could be this easy for person like me with no Testing Knowledge. Course content is rich with all the essential concepts as in real time projects. Mentoring is equally good who are ready to help at any point of time. Acknowledgement to TestLeaf Team

I want to Thank Subraja for her support and assistance in Selenium Automation. I really enjoyed the sessions and got a good understanding of the automation framework. Now by practising the assignments given by the team, I am confident that I will be able to manage an automation framework. Also I was impressed by the extended support you and Ranjini provided even after course completion.

I would like to extend my Thanks to Shiva & Shan on REST API Automation. Due to some health issues, I was unable to attend last 2 sessions. But the recordings really helped me to cover up. The detailed explanation on the framework creation by Shiva was really very insightful and I am pretty confident that by practise I can be an expert.

Even now in the whtsapp group created during the session, some are posting their queries and you guys are quickly responding and assisting them. Thats a new experience for me and I am very impressed.

As a part of an interview, to refresh my memory- I went through CORE Java for QA -video session by Gaj (It was a free course offered for me as part of the course package I took) was very helpful for me to get a good clarity on Java concepts.

Thanks for your wonderful support team. I have another course on Appium registered with you. Looking forward for it. Also I am keen to register for some other courses with you in future.

Last not Least - We have life long access to our dashboard created in TestLeaf learning platform. This is AWESOME!!

Thanks for your sincere support team! I really wish I would have known about TestLeaf maybe 5 years before, I would have been an Automation Lead by now :P!!

I would highly recommend those whoever aspired to learn on automation to attend the course offered by TestLeaf.

Yearly Salary (First Job) == Monthly Salary (Current Job After SDET)

Before SDET, struggled to solve a single problem and couldn't crack a single product company. After SDET, solving 3-4 problems in at least 3 different ways at the interview and cracking big product companies. This happened in 5 months. SDET course was very thorough and never doubted it after the first day. Now feeling confident that I could handle any complex automation projects since the basics are strong. Heartful thanks to Babu and TestLeaf for changing our lives. Making impossible to possible is what TestLeaf does to the automation testing community.

TestLeaf has been my pathfinder

I’m Krishna,I was like one among the aspirants, who has minimal abilities, confused on career switch options, but still concerned about career and want to make it big. My goal a few months ago was to work my technology stack, help improve, get into good product company with high compensation as possible. Inclining to the goals I’ve tried out myself options and explored but nothing seemed to worked out well as I found it very hard to be consistent and to plan properly to reach my goal. I also felt that lack of mentorship and potential guidance is what has always been an anchor to back-hold me.

I’m so fortunate enough to be given an opportunity to join SDET program, ever since I had associated myself to this program, I’ve been very consistent, had opportunity to learn all the cutting edge knowledge which has potentially helped me to stand as a distinguished among many test developers in the industry and see myself in a product company with compensation better than what I would have ever expected. I’ve learnt the following things got to know the hacks that works out well in the industry

1. Data structures and algorithms:- I was novice in DSA, over the last a few months, with great guidance and consistent practise under the governance of Babu Manickam sir(supporting system) I was comfortable enough to understand and solve the questions and got ready myself to appear for the interviews. Understood the clean coding practise and to code efficiently.
2. Brush up of Niche skill set:- Besides problem solving it is equally important to learn and stay on top of the technical skills such as test automation, framework design, devOps capabilities and insights on non-functional testing. All such on demanding skills were reviewed and tried understanding them deeper, way better than ever before. Guidance here helped a lot in terms of filtering the knowledge and understand where to go deeper and where to be shallow to help with not overloading and time.
3. Interview preparation :- Several mock interviews were conducted, given a constructive feedback on the performance which helped quite a lot to over come the fear factor and lack of confidence. This exercise helped a lot to drive the interview comfortably and perform to the best. Got so many insights on the various companies and their interview pattern. Given suggestions on how to represent appropriately in different rounds of interviews to stay according to the expectations and ace them. Got to know the techniques to answer the theoretical questions far better than the other competitors.
4. Networking:- Though I’ve been in the industry for quite a few years, haven’t ever knew the importance of building the network and learn from people. Have been told about the significance of building relation in professional world. This activity has helped a lot to understand the recent updates and technical transformations in the industry also helped finding plethora of oppurtunities.
5. Profile grooming and Resume preparation:- I’ve learnt the best portals that help us building the quality resume, how to make it sound relevant to the JD and also looks good to be picked by the recruiters. Writing articles in medium and publishing the code to the personal github account.

Besides the technical learning curve, there was so much emotional support and personal coaching through out the program. Below are the ones that are on top of my head

- Gained a lot of knowledge by listening to the success/ failure stories
- Constant motivation to keep the fire ignited
- Intensified personal coaching to help fulfil the gaps and learn to adopt culture
- Mentally trained to absorb/ handle the pressure

I’m happy that I’m working as SDET-II in a good product company where there are challenging activities that always pushes to me explore and learn new things. I’m overwhelmed with my compensation. Above that I’m confident and understood what’s the pathway for me down the line and how to stay on top of technical skills and cope with industry.

I couldn’t thank Babu Sir and TestLeaf enough, for this great initiative and has been helping me & the community consistently. I personally realise the assistance provided to overcome my limitations and helped to reach to this level. I’m so thankful and honoured to make me realise what are my stronger aspects and set springboard to showcase them at times. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this engagement and very proud that I’ve invested in the right place and in right time.

TestLeaf - For A Exponential Career Growth

Whenever I have a thought to UpSkill myself, the only Organization came to my mind is TestLeaf.

That's how the SDET Course journey starts. I had split my reviews into four sections.

Why TestLeaf and Why SDET course?

Key Points:
1. Teaching Style
2. Course Structure
3. Real-Time examples to make our understanding better
4. They will make your basics strong(i.e Good foundation makes a building strong)
5. They keep their promises and 100% commitment towards them.
6. Morethan that they support in all aspects of your career
7. Guidance for your career path

Testleaf & Babu is enough for me to take up a course with them because they do a lot of preparation before they train others. They also design a course from the perspective of the audience, what amount they can consume in that 4hrs of learning. That made me more comfortable and helps me to understand
and gain the knowledge.

Crawling Time of SDET Course:

This is the initial period of the SDET course. It starts with DSA, the toughest part for any programmer to make them strong. But TestLeaf made it more comfortable for me. Overall it was 2 months of duration. Where Babu made our basics strong and put us in tough situations like a mock interview, online assessments to review us where we are. That made me take extra effort to gain knowledge. So, the real interview process was a cakewalk.

Walking Timings of SDET Course:

Babu always suggests reading from the source code is the best way of understanding any concepts. That's how they teach Selenium Architecture from root to all branches. They not only teach from an interview perspective, but they also teach how does a project evolve from DEV and QA point of view to improve our thought process. During this period we strengthened our skills on Selenium, RestApi, Design Pattern, AWS, and SQL. So, we are all set for the race.

First Sprint of the SDET Course:

This part says about our initial interviews. Testleaf guide us to the process of taking up an interview from building our LinkedIn profile to Resume Building and the Art of Networking with the right people to get connected in Linked In and applying for the jobs. During this phase, Babu glazed us to get ready for the next big race.

The Finals of SDET Course:

Babu knows the Strength and Weakness of each one of us in our batch. Based on that he gave guidance and made us fit for the interviews. We will be having daily review sessions where we switch our Gears from 1-2-3-4, that's how I placed in VISA. Without those daily reviews and pushing us hard to make the best out of us, we would not get these offers. That's why I said he knows the strength and weakness of each one of us.

I see TestLeaf and Babu as Sculptor because a Sculptor can make a stone into a great Sculpture.

Thanks, TestLeaf and Babu for making the best out of me during these 6 months, and having great learning. A lot of transformation and a lot more to come...

Best place to learn SDET!!

Hello Everyone!!! I'm Vigneshwaran. I'm so glad to be part of Test leaf alumni since 3+ years.

Anybody wants to become an excellent and stable profession in Software Testing domain, Test leaf is the best place to achieve your dreams.

I've joined SDET Course in Test leaf. I've learnt so many things, actually I joined with zero knowledge.
Now I've great confidence in it. I don't even think about product based organizations previously. But, now I had attended the interview only in product based organizations and I could solve the programming questions and technical related questions during interviews by myself without any difficulties.

All these happens due to Data Structures and Algorithms training. While I was trying to practice the programs, initially I was felt very pressure and struck so many times to write a code. After I got an idea to explore the difficulties post the discussion with Mr.Babu Manickam.

Also, doing consistent practices and hard efforts, pushed me to think and do the code by myself with multiple solutions. Only one thing you have to remember is, be patience, don't compare yourself with others and practice consistently. Here, we've a team to discuss and practice the programs daily. This is also one of the greatest advantage here.

Also I've learnt API testing and Jenkins [CI/CD] pipelines concepts in dig deep here. It's a wonderful session. Another major thing, I got not only product based opportunities, in salary perspective, the graph increased.

This session is not particularly for technical alone it touches "resume preparation, Git Hub profile update and LinkedIn profile update" which is really important to attract recruiters I'm glad that I got glimpse on all of these in this session.

Apart from all of these, I got a career plan, tech plan and life lessons.

I'm so grateful and thankful for Mr.Babu Manickam. Without him, I'm not even think about my career change with this good position and massive hike.

Have a happy Learning!! Good Luck Folks!!

SDET program

From where I started:
- I'm a person from manual testing background
- No programming knowledge
- Little bit of selenium and Java knowledge
- person who was feeling hard even to understand problem statements
- Dream of getting into Product companies but don't know the path
- Fear of attending interviews

After 6 months of SDET training
To what I learned till now:
- Started understanding program statements
- No fear of attempting the problem
- Started attending interview
- Started learning from mistake
- Started growing my network
- Started cracking product companies
- Started facing failures and grow from it
- Deep understanding of selenium
- API(Restassured,Oauth 2,wiremock,karate,graphQL,GRPC) skills
- Java deep understanding , Java 8
- Learned basics of SQL,AWS,TC Enumeration,Framework design,Design patterns,Microservice,Jenkins.
- Data structures(Array,String,List,Map,Set,LinkedList,Tree,Stack,Queue,) and Algorithms(Two pointers,sliding window,kadane algorithm,Dutch national Flag,Recurssion,Backtracting,Divide and conquere )
- Improved my Linkedin profile and Resume preparation support
- Performance testing understanding
- System Design
- Life Lessons and life experience of an expert

Being a Manual tester and understanding all the above was very hard, testleaf made me a person whom i thought i never will be.
The push and the support from testleaf for the 6 months can be said easily but it is not. The hard work i did is a part of this process but to make me work hard Testleaf worked hard more than me from the day 1 to till now.The commitment from testleaf will be a surprise for each one. More than money Testleaf has their own saying "Giving back to the society", making people like me to grow and move to next level.Testleaf bought the best out of me and showed even i can achieve by working hard in the right direction.Like everyone i too felt why I wasted my past years in not selecting the right person or the path who will guide us in the right path.
Apart from learning you will get a network and the learnings of rest of the people starting from their skills, the way they approach and thought process which will be a great learning, Each member will be so supportive and testleaf will make sure that no one left alone, daily problems and tasks will be checked and suggestions will be a open one which will make you know your mistake and work hard more on that.
Each weekend will be a new learning and more over you cannot cut classes even in weekdays which will be a strict rule made by management which is another thing made us achieve the result.By days passing you will know the difference of your growth and it will be like magic happening to you.Just you need to follow the instructions given by the mentor and work hard for the task given to you.I may not learned or skilled in all the things mentioned above.
But i got a chance to explore all these and make basics strong and moreover solving problem and getting solutions, which i never thought i will do.
I finally feel like i have selected a right place and the right person and I will always be greateful for the way testleaf developed me in this 6 months
span and made me to get selected in companies like Jungleegames, salesforce which even made me happier.Once again i thank testleaf and babu sir for guiding me in my career , treating me as a family memeber and even thought us life lesson which will make me a better person and what i am today.Thank you.

This course is not a learning, it's an experience

First of all, I want to thank you TestLeaf team and my coach Babu sir for giving me a life time opportunity and in helping me to get a dream job in one of my dream organization.

This SDET course changed me a lot personally and technically. Before joined this course, i was not technically sound. Also, I don't know the technique of approaching any problems and its solutions. But now I am able to approach problem effectively and deriving solution towards it. Those who think this course is learning i will say you misunderstood it's an experience.

The experience of talking to a CEO of an organization is very rare now a days but I was able to get guided by one of the successful CEO which I am really happy about it.

The main reason i was attracted to this course at the beginning was only money by seeing the first batch was able to pick a good numbers in money. But on the first day itself it was ice broken. At first I was confused but now I am able to see the vision of my coach and his words "Don't follow money, Follow the skills and then Money will automatically follow you".

Before this training my thought was I can get a 40 - 50% which looks like a huge amount at that time. But the offer which I got is the number I didn't expected for which my family and myself were really happy about it.

To the future aspirants who are going to take part in this SDET journey, There is no limit in the learning you can get from this course, its how much you can consume.

Again a very big thanks from the bottom of my heart to my Coach , Well Wisher Babu sir for bringing out the best from myself.

How TestLeaf Helped me to 10X my salary in 3 years

Being in non -IT sector for 4 years, I always had insecurity about my career. When I was playing Table Tennis in my office, I met my college mate and he referred me to testleaf in 2018. I went ahead, enrolled for the selenium program and it took 6 months for the preparation and then I was able to get couple of offers and also my salary got tripled up!!

I joined as an Automation engineer in a startup and continued to work with the same company for about 3 years. Even though, I was designated as Automation Engineer, the scope of automation was very less. During the lockdown times, I didn’t make much progress about my career and the reality had hit me hard.

That’s when I got to know about the SDET program, went through the process and got shortlisted.

DS and Algo was completely new to me. I had to start from the scratch. The course module was designed in such a way that it could be easily consumable.

Once you understand how the data flows through, then it will be easy to define a logic and apply the required conditions to arrive at the best solution. Whenever we tried to solve any problems related to specific Data structure, we never directly jumped into the problem statement, we used to spend considerable amount of time to understand its internal implementation .

Initially, I found it difficult to solve problems. But there are few parameters which helped me to slowly take off and switch the gears to start solving more problems.
1.Consistent push from our mentor
2.Community Help which we got from our Batchmates

Whenever, we used to solve a problem, we had to present it back to the team members and get other’s opinion about our approach. It helped me to understand other’s perspective of looking at the problems. As we continuously followed the approach for a month or two, most of us started to enjoy the problem solving and turned out to be a habitual process.

Once you gained the confidence in problem solving, then it’s a matter of brushing up your basic skills. We had lot of sessions on real time scenario-based problems, which helped us to organize our thought process, provide the answers in a constructive manner.

The journey of six months not only scaled up my skillsets, also helped me to setup the daily routine and brought discipline to the life. I personally, felt that I was in virtual Bubble along with my Batchmates :D

Considering the fact “Fear of Coding”, I deliberately avoided CSE when I selected my engineering stream. I am sharing all this here to make everyone realize that one doesn't need to be from IT/CSE to be able to achieve this. I literally started from 'Hello World' in May 2018 and here I am today. So, all those people out there who want to learn DSA concepts, and crack an interview with Product Based Companies don't look at your branch or year. Just believe in yourself and keep working hard. Practice is the key and you will feel confident when you make it as a consistent activity.

I always wanted to have a mentor who can guide through my career path and I am glad that I found a way to streamline my career at the right time with the support of testleaf.
