I contacted the company to verify the process then put in my order for pick up at a local location as they will not ship orders under 20 pounds. Tgey did accept payment BUT They didn't put my order on the truck. I waited for days for a response as I had message to verify pickup location and they messaged they would see what they could do which was nothing. I Finally reached out and they will refund my money. Having a furbaby with kidney disease, has high phosphorus levels and is anemic who isn't eating well and trying to get green tripe, which is supposed to be a good protein for her, this bad service has stressed me out even more. I was counting the days and just barely hanging in till pickup day and nothing they accepted tge payment but didnt put it on the truck! This may have been a good thing since I just read the reviews here and don't want to give my already sick baby bad food. Apparently their system for new orders is unreliable.

Orders are simplified since Tripe's origin. Foods are diverse, not always available, (popular) but always something from which to choose as alternatives. Route planning is exceptional and vast with regular updates for collection sites, emails, texts and messages keep us up to date for our deliveries on the day!

I had been feeding a raw, prey model diet to my 9 year old Staffy, buying the meats at the grocery store. It was always balanced at roughly 80/10/10, but she was beginning to have some stiffness in her joints and her energy was decreasing. I decided to try Texas Tripe, as I'd been looking at their products for a while due to the meats being grass fed, rather than grain fed/finished, and after having her on a variety of the different blends for just under 2 weeks now, already see an increase in her energy, as well as her flexibility!

Yes, the tripe stinks to no end, but she thinks it's wonderful. lol No one ever said that it smelled good, honest. ;-) If the smell is too much for you, order the blends that contain it already so you don't have to handle it. I also find their prices to be very fair, and better than any other raw on the market that is a balanced 80/10/10 prey model and grass fed, no hormones or antibiotics.

So far, she has had the rabbit/duck combo, and I add to that a bit of beef organ mix with liver, kidney and spleen and a small amount of the beef green tripe. She also gets the senior pro blend, the beef blend, and the pork blend. Her fave so far is the pork blend, but she also really likes the senior pro blend. She is a bit on the fussy side, so thrilled that she likes all so far. She really likes the beef organ blend, and spleen is not readily available to general consumers, so was happy to find that in the mixture. Very good for our carnivore companions!

Over all, I am quite pleased with my purchases so far, and so is my girl. I would highly recommend Texas Tripe! (the date for experience was the first day I started feeding the product.)

This food almost made me throw up just smelling it. It smells like they just ground up un-cleaned tripe. The poop smell is seriously bad, my dog just looked at me like "nope" when I put it in his bowl. I was recommended this food by my vet and I will be letting him know it's safe to stop recommending it to anyone.

Food is just bad now, DO NOT BUY THIS FOR YOUR PETS!!! I have been buying food from this company for years and the last several orders have been just plain bad food, the quality of food is going to the waist side and the owners WILL NOT respond to emails or calls about the problem. The food I have given my dog has decreased in quality and increased in price. I ask for a full refund on the unused food and all I am getting is SILENCE! Spending several hundred dollars a month for 5 years should at least get a response for the company but nothing. I have switched to a different company that guarantees its food quality with a money back promise. Sad a company does this to loyal customers with zero remorse. Just Bad Business!

Excellent products and great customer service. If our Rottie could form sentences and type she would rave about their blends and tripe.

Texas Tripe the best raw food for your dog. They travel the state of Texas and now Colorado. Grass fed, no antibiotics or hormones They have drop off sites where you meet their truck. Always look forward to going. My dogs has the highest quality food he can get. Go Texas Tripe!!
