I initially agreed to a €7 purchase
I initially agreed to a €7 purchase, but shortly afterwards an additional €19.95 was charged without it being clearly obvious to me during the checkout process. I contacted support asking for a refund, but they were unwilling to help.
The free version also feels very misleading because it shows an extremely high AI score, which creates pressure to buy the paid version. After paying, the results suddenly changed significantly, which made the whole system feel unreliable and manipulative.
The AI detection itself also seemed very inaccurate, as completely human-written parts of my academic paper were flagged as AI-generated. Overall, the experience felt frustrating and deceptive.
Be very careful before entering payment details.

If you were charged this amount, it means you deliberately selected and confirmed the purchase. We do not add this charge automatically or without explicit user action.
That said, we would genuinely like to review your account and see exactly what happened. However, based on the information you provided in your review, we have not been able to locate any registered account, subscription, or support request under your name. You did not include the email address you used for registration, which makes it impossible for us to investigate your case properly.
Additionally, you mentioned a "free version" of TextGuard. We want to kindly clarify that TextGuard does not offer any free version of our service. The free preview on our website is not a free tool — it is a simplified, instant assessment that does not use the same algorithms as our paid service. If you used any free AI detection tool elsewhere, that would not be related to TextGuard.

We would like to clarify the billing timeline again, as there appears to be a misunderstanding related to how your bank displays pending transactions.
According to our records, your subscription was created on April 13, 2026, and the renewal payment was processed on April 27, 2026, while the subscription was still active. Your subscription was successfully cancelled on April 28, 2026. No successful charges were processed by our system after the cancellation.
The date you mentioned in May appears to be connected to your bank’s processing or settlement timeline for the April 27 payment. Many banks first show a payment as pending or reserved, and later display it as finalized on a different date. This does not mean that a new separate charge was made by TextGuard after cancellation.
We understand that this can be confusing, especially when the bank notification appears after the subscription was cancelled. However, the renewal had already been initiated before the cancellation was completed.
We recommend contacting your bank directly so they can explain how they display pending transactions, reserved amounts, and settlement dates in your account.

Worst ai humanizer website I ever…
Worst ai humanizer website I ever tried. I input the humanized text into multiple ai checker sites and they all got flagged for 100% ai. Do not purchase. Does not work. Rude customer service. I reached out to their support for a refund and they refused to give me a full refund. I sent multiple example pictures and talked with their support team for over 20 minutes and they were not empathetic, only rude.
