As a founding Account Executive at a…

As a founding Account Executive at a fast-growing SAAS startup, I faced a lot of early uncertainty around refining our go to market strategy, improving our messaging and closing deals faster. While I had the sales experience, working with The Founder Sales Engine made a significant difference in my ability to sell my company's software.

Ben helped me a ton with stalling deals, identifying which leads were qualified, and provided me with a repeatable process for closing. I can honestly say that I am a much more effective salesperson because of working with Ben.

A Godsend for technical founders

I have worked with Ben and GTMomentum for the last 4 months. And it's been one of the best learning experiences in my startup journey thus far.

As a technical founder now leading enterprise sales, I knew I had gaps. Ben was amazing in pointing them out with empathy and rigor, and emphasizing the need for structural amendments to ensure the fixes weren't temporary.

I feel much more confident in my overall sales process now; more importantly, I am much more prepared to handle new curveballs. While continuing to evolve our process using the principles I have learnt from and discussed with Ben.

Coaching for founders who have gone zero-to-one, but want to go one-to-ten

Ben reached out on LinkedIn, cold, and his message hit a bit too close to home. It was a well-written message targeting his core ICP, we took the meeting.

As a founder, I was wrestling with transitioning away from founder-led sales. Our goals were simple: 1) Prove that _anyone_ except the founders could sell our product 2) Shift from majority founder-led sales to majority playbook sales 3) Close bigger deals.

I expected a drill-sergeant and a bootcamp, instead we got a coach who helped us build a system and operationalize it. My review is biased positive because we achieved our goals, but a few concrete things that I remembered:
- Ben would review multiple sales calls per week, from small to enterprise, and picked apart every sentence. Details like referring to all-female audiences as “guys”, to reinforcing us to engage _all_ stakeholders for thorough discovery, it was clear Ben was trying to wring every dollar out of our sales performance.
- Ben was our sales coach and sales therapist. Sometimes you need to gripe about a deal you lost and have someone dust you off and send you back out. Sometimes when a deal is going well, you need someone to force you to stick to the process and follow through.

For founders that have gone from zero-to-one, and need to go from one-to-ten, who need to build out a sales playbook, a team to run that playbook, I’d strongly recommend Ben and TFSE.

Ben has been game-changing for our…

Ben has been game-changing for our early sales team. I've led the sales efforts as the founder for years and now I'm finally feeling comfortable handing off the main revenue closing activities to our AE.

Ben has helped us build the foundations, and I don't believe real and sustainable growth would be possible without it.

Also... the amazing side effect of being "less" in the weeds as the founder and focusing on how we can strategically grow the company.

Highly Recommend

Ben Abbey and the Founder's Sales Engine team is well worth it. We wasted almost 2 years trying to figure out sales. I highly recommend if you are a start up founder who does not have sales experience. As technical expert with no sales experience it started from the ground up with understanding why your unique, moving on to how properly message, and how to close meetings. All this takes technique that I didn't really have an awareness of. Over all I would highly recommend. If your early in the startup cycle don't wait.

Before

Before, I was chasing leads with no structure and I felt stuck. While working with Ben and his program, I signed 10 new clients and I’ve closed them faster.

If you want repeatable growth and to stop wasting time on the wrong deals, TFSE is worth it.
