After a painful NHS experience regarding my hearing issues, I was advised to use Lunar Optical in Bristol. This is where I met James Burt.
I cannot express how happy I am that i was introduced to him.
He was able to fit me in an appointment very quickly, he explained the process through out & got me into hearing aids that met my exact needs.
Please if you are thinking of getting your hearing checked out or you do need possibly new hearing aids, give James a call. Nothing is too much of an issue.

Great service.I was having a major problem with wax in my right ear. Which drops were not helping. I discovered that just across the road in Village optitions (Durham) was a hearing hearing care partnership run by Emily.I went across at 10.30 managed to get an apt at 12 Emily explained the procedure in great detail which was very reasuring,the eqpt used was 1st class. In no time there was the painless sound of the wax being removed then Pop .Perfect hearing.Now I can't ignor my wife she knows I can hear now. Thank you Emily

Dangerous audiologist Matt (Swanage branch) who carelessly without thought recommended drops for wax in ears over phone before even assessing them! Even when telling him a history of ear drum perforation. How does one be so reckless? Who willingly puts items into their ear without knowing what the issue is? Just because it’s most likely. Had I taken his reckless, arrogant, dangerous advice it could have led to permanent damage. Thankfully, I’m smarter than him and didn’t. He begrudged being outsmarted by a woman who stood by not taking his advice and acted like a petulant stubborn little man. I said how can we treat something when we don’t know what we’re treating? Please have a look first. Apparently this makes you the customer difficult. I’ll be difficult every day of my life rather than ruin my ears. This guy should be stripped of his role and qualifications. Turned out I had an ear infection and his wrongful advice was dangerous and medically negligent. Branch manager agreed and he’s been reported to head office. AVOID if you care about your hearing health, like me. Horrible aggressive man and clueless.

My appointment with Holly Proud was both very efficient and informative. Holly explained the procedures and also offered further information on finding out more about my issue. Two decades after abandoning NHS aids, I found my hearing had degenerated very badly. I was seen by the wonderful Kirsten at Bills Tiverton. She explained in greatest detail what she was doing (and I am incurably nosy having been a science technician). After the aids had been fitted she sorted out teething problems, with the high-tech kit that Bills use, and again I could have been a problem, as half the nerves in my face were prmanently damaged by shingles. The aids I chose were not cheap, but I was able to spread the cost. They are comfortable to wear, and have a marked benefit to my hearing. Thanks, Kirsten!

Sam was very good, patient, explained everything clearly, the main thing that sold it to me was the great backup for the future.
Went for the most expensive Oticron package and have been incredibly surprised, delighted by the results.
Would heartily recommend this Sam and this product.
