Established in 1999, The Coaching Academy is now the largest life coach training organisation of its kind in the world. We’re incredibly proud of the reputation we’ve developed since opening our doors. We started when coaching was a relatively new phenomenon and there weren’t any other UK based training organisations for coaches. Now we find ourselves at the forefront of coach training and chosen by more people who want to professionally train in the practical skills of coaching than any other organisation.

Really well-run course. Ran to time, with good levels of audience participation (not easy on a Zoom call with a large audience, particularly on a hot day).
Great experience with like minded people. Participants at various stages of the course which proved to be invaluable. Sharing knowledge and experiences. The facilitator was knowledgable, kind and understanding. I enjoyed every minute, despite the heatwave, plenty of breaks throughout the day. I learned a lot.
Really enjoyed Sarah Bramall delivery on this module.
I felt this was my favourite so far and I took so much positive energy from this day.
Thank you so much for making it a great experience Sarah!
The coaching academy often say, ‘trust the process’ and at the start of training it can be difficult to hold onto that. Even now and I’m 1/2 way through. However on days like this one they are a great reminder of how very true that sentence is.
So I’m personally going to use that as my anchor, ‘trust the process!’
The Trauma-Awareness Coaching CPD facilitated by Mandy Manners was a very eye-opening, well-delivered and interactive introduction to Trauma Awareness for me.
I am training to be Trauma-Informed so that when I also finish my Life Coaching Diploma at The Coaching Academy, I will have developed the skills, self-work (ongoing) and simple but effective tools, techniques and teachings to empower my clients to overcome their internal trauma blocks.
By learning from Mandy on:
what trauma is
how to help clients safely work through it with a coach (and other specialists as needed) and
how coaches can help clients build capacity, resilience and safety in their nervous system
I am more confident to help my clients instead of feeling helpless when I see them struggling with their trauma.
Now I know how to help my clients lead themselves in the right direction, through: asking the right questions, asking what a safe space is for them (not assuming) and helping them find their own way forwards, beyond trauma from past experiences.
The course was with a lovely group of like-minded coaches and I liked the content which focused on what life can be beyond trauma: full of hope, healing, and happiness for clients - with their health, careers, relationships, and whatever holds meaning, value and purpose to them in life.
Trauma is not a permanent state. It can be reversed through subconscious rewiring of trauma patterns by the power of neuroplasticity and clients creating healthy relationships of mutual trust, safety, curiosity and compassion.
And from that place of safety, clients can take courageous action on their goals.
Without processing trauma they remain trapped.
By processing trauma, they can reach their potential with full freedom, fulfilment and forward movement.
the GR Live training session was fabulous. Sarah is a brilliant facilitator and the session struck the perfect balance between learning, interactivity, networking and coaching practice with other students. 3x 2hr sessions in one day should have been exhausting but instead were energising and really helped to build my confidence in my learning journey. Thank you!
The best part of this Academy are the people working in it and for it, in particular its amazing trainers and teachers like Rachael Bushby, Sarah Bramall, Rachel Russell, and Pam Lidford, without mentioning their team of mentors like Antonio Esposito.
And then Mariya from the support team who spent endless hours with me over the phone to go through the program, the rules, how to make it work for me and my ADHD, and how to optimise the resources available.
I learnt so much from the personality and the direct lived coaching experience of all these talented individuals and I would recommend the Academy and the Life Coaching diploma to everyone who is in their early phase and wants to build some structure for their future clients, feeling guided with a specific framework, and having an officially recognised diploma that they can leverage also in the Corporate environment. Thanks to the entire team for making my career dream possible!!!
It was a great course, well planned and I learnt so much. I would highly recommend the coaching Acadamy to anyone
The Introduction to Trauma - Awareness & Coaching course - was excellent! Mandy Manners was a fantastic facilitator :) providing high-quality information that you can trust. Using personal experience to help back up the science and coaching elements. Thank you Mandy! I feel I've a better understanding of being Trauma aware. Alison x
Thank you for creating a simplified version of awareness of Trauma, the sessions were high level and aimed for those that are needing an introduction. Thank you Mandy for sharing your own experiences with us xx

A highly valuable and thought-provoking session.
There were several practical takeaways, particularly around supporting different thinking styles (e.g. encouraging doodling or fidgeting during meetings) and using reframing techniques to view situations from new perspectives.
The NLP Triangle model and the focus on values and beliefs were especially impactful and easily transferable across different contexts.
Overall, an insightful session that has positively influenced how I approach both personal and professional interactions.

Another great learning experience attending the GR(OW) model live training session with The Coaching Academy. Thank you Sarah Bramall for explaining the key elements of how to set goals and motivate others. Plus understanding the importance of the goal setting process.

Advanced DISC Practitioner was a fabulous CPD event.
Sharon was full of enthusiasm and provided complimentary tools that can be used beyond the DISC profile to continue to raise awareness on behaviour.
I had many aha moments and have already used the tools which has enhanced the coaching conversations with many lightbulb moments for me & my clients.
If you're already using DISC and want to expand your thinking to support your employees/clients, teams and organisations then this is the programme you need

The DISC Advanced Practitioner Workshop was expertly delivered by DISC Master Trainer Sharon Lawton.
It was a superb training with many insights which helped me to understand how DISC integrates with leading frameworks such as Lencioni’s Five Dysfunctions of a Team and David Rock’s SCARF model, adding to my toolkit for working with individuals, leaders, and teams.
This workshop was also a masterclass in creating a safe, inclusive and supportive environment which made it perfect for learning online.
