Unreliable and unapologetic
I booked 2 nights for my wife and I six months ago. It was her Christmas present and we were very excited about it. We were participating in the blackstairs challenge last weekend. When I sent them a message regarding our planned time of arrival they asked if we were camping. Our booking was clearly for the cabin, they confirmed the reservation in December and we have already paid for it. They said that booking.com had double booked. Booking.com confirmed that there was no other booking. I phoned multiple times but they wouldn't answer. They insisted I cancel over text message and were unapologetic.
We couldn't find other accommodation at such late notice.
