Wish I had read these reviews before booking. I had a 10 ticket booking that was cancelled last min and moved to a date we can’t attend. Getting a refund has been hard work with the contact arguing the toss between the difference between cancelled and postponed. He has now agreed a refund but the amount of hassle it has been has made me cautious of booking again. We have enjoyed events there before and a well handled refund wouldn’t have caused us to lose confidence
Unfortunately I could not give less than 1 star! I booked tickets for a ghost hunt at this venue only a couple of weeks beforehand. I turned up on the night but the place was in total darkness and I was wondering if I was at the correct venue when 2 other ladies turned up for that event also. After waiting for 5 minutes after the event was supposed to start one of the ladies managed to contact the group that were hosting the event for this company and told us the event had been cancelled and had the venue not contacted us? This was the second time the 2 ladies had been cancelled for this event. I emailed the company to tell them that I was furious as I had drove for over 45 minutes to get there and I wanted a full refund of my money. Chris contacted me back with a lame excuse about having just got back from travelling a week before and had not realised the date, funny enough though he managed to contact the group that were hosting the event for him! He did return my money but kept the booking fee! I emailed him again to ask for the booking fee but he didn't have the decency to even reply to my email. My advice is keep well away from this company unless you wish to lose money!!

Hi Neil, I'm the web guy representing The Attic. I was advised on the evening of the 2nd July 2024 to issue you a refund which I processed first thing on the 3rd and informed The Attic as such. The money should have been back on your card some 8 days ago, 3 before you wrote this review. Please check and inform me if you haven't received it and I'll chase the card processing company (Stripe) - it's all showing here as refunded.
