We’re very sorry that you have been disappointed by your most recent order with us. We make every effort to ensure that all orders are printed and delivered with the level of quality that our customers have come to expect. Unfortunately, on this occasion, this hasn’t been the case.
The banner was printed using the image that had been uploaded to our online banner designer. When uploading images to a banner design, we recommend that the highest quality image be used, in order to combat any issues with pixelation or blurriness. As we offer so many different banner sizes, it is difficult to offer a ‘one rule fits all’ guidance for the size of images that should be uploaded.
The advice that we can give is that when supplying an image that will fill the full banner size, supply this image at the actual banner size and as a high-quality image. So, if ordering a 4 x 2 foot banner, create the image at this size (or at the very least half of this size) and at high resolution (300 dpi would be recommended).
Alternatively, a complete banner design can be supplied to us as a high resolution or vectored pdf. Our customers find this way easier in terms of checking that their artwork is of high enough resolution for the best printing results. If we receive an order that has very pixelated images included in the artwork, we would raise this with the customer and advise a way forward prior to printing the banner. On this occasion, we felt that the image was not at such a reduced quality that would cause issue when the banner was in situ and that as a returning customer, this image (or similar) had previously been used with no problem.
We understand your disappointment on this occasion, but hope that your previous experiences with us help to highlight that this is rare. Thank you for your business over the years and we hope that this recent order will not deter you from ordering with us again in the future.
