Purchased an item with my points

Purchased an item with my points. Returned the item, received neither a refund nor my points. Not too mention, the worst customer service possible. I know The Bay is having financial issues, I did the work by initiating my return, can't find a way YET to initiate my refund in reasonable time. Service has deteriorated tremendously

Beware Untrustworthy Brand Partners - No Customer Service

My return of a $70 child's dress in perfect condition in its original bag was dishonestly refused by a "Trusted Brand Partner", Deux par Deux, and sent back to me as having a spot on it. I have offered to take the garment to a Bay store manager to verify its condition but they do not wish me to do that; in the meantime, many apologies but for six weeks no assistance from The Bay in returning this item for credit, as they plead "technical issues" with their Trusted Brand Partner arrangement. Clearly The Bay has no leverage over these suppliers. I am closing my account as The Bay is no longer trustworthy.

Maxwell williams sucks

I bought maxvell williams dinnerware set but after 3rd washing the dinnerware ser colour was changed lighter. Even dollarama products are not like that.

If I could score it a zero I would

If I could score it a zero I would. There is no customer left at the Bay. I purchased a product online in January 2024 and it was to be delivered in March with other products that I purchased instore. My online purchased never arrived but I was able to confirm via email that a new delivery date was set for April 2nd. That day came and no delivery , no call , no email from the Bay.
Every since April 2nd I have tried contacting the Bay by phone(1 866 809 8210) where they keep you on hold for up to 1 hour, by email to customer service, by facebook and instagram. I can't get a response from the Bay.
I'm tired of the case and will not be dealing with the Bay in the future.

The worst customer service there is

The worst customer service there is. Purchased 4 glass jars with lids that did not fit. 1st customer service rep: their mail return option is down, has been that way more than a week. Could only bring it back to a store: 3 hours drive!! 2nd customer service call: sounded like a hoax: a guy half asleep with 10 people yelling in the back. He could only repeat endlessly "my name is..." even when I explained the issue. But it was, in fact, the Bay customer service.. 3rd call: the only option: pay for the return, send the proof by mail and then they will issue a refund... Absurd. Never again.

I called the customer service…

I called the customer service department about my order. I placed the order a couple of days ago and logged onto my account to see when it would be delivered, but it said: "cancelled." The rep I spoke to was arrogant and not helpful at all. I was not offered any points for the inconvenience that it was cancelled and I was not even notified.

I HATE HUDSONS BAY AT YORKDALE! IF I COULD GIVE -0 STARS I WOULD. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN HUDSONS BAY AGAIN !!!!

I HAVE BEEN SHOPPING AT HUDSONS BAY FOR YEARS FOR SKINCARE, MAKE UP, AND FRAGRANCES. I HAVE SPEND OVER 50 THOUSAND DOLLARS THERE FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS AND FOR THIS TO HAPPEN I FEEL SO DISRESPECTED AND SHOCKED!

I HAD TWO HORRIFIC EXPERIENCES AT DIOR COUNTER AND NOTHING WAS EVER DONE ABOUT IT!

I DESIDED TO SWITCH TO DIOR SKINCARE FROM THE BRAND I AM USING.
1ST EXPERIENCE- I BOUGHT SOME ITEMS, I RECEIVED A GIFT, I LEFT THEM AT THE CASH MASHINE WHICH HAS A CAMERA ABOVE IT, I WENT TO GO DO MORE SHOPPING, WHEN I CAME BACK THE ITEMS FROM THE GIFT POUCH WERE MISSING I FREAKED OUT, THE YOUNG ASIAN GIRL TRIED TO HUSH ME DOWN, REPLACED THE ITEMS WITHOUT QUESTIONS ASKED, ( HMMMMM) AND I LEFT, ONLY SALES REP COULD HAVE STOLEN THE ITEMS. NEXT DAY I CAME IN TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER VENUS.
(THIS HAPPENED LAST SUMMER)

ABOUT 2 1/2 MONTH AGO I DESIDED TO GIVE DIOR ANOTHER CHANCE. THEY HAD A PRESALE. I PURCHASED SOME ITEMS, IT TOOK ALMOST 3 WEEKS FOR ME TO PICK THEM UP. THEY WERE STORED IN A LOCKED DIOR STORAGE ROOM THAT IS ACCESSIBLE TO EVERY DIOR EMPLOYEE. I CAME IN TO PICK IT UP A FEW TIMES BUT IT WAS NOT READY !!! FINALLY WHEN I PICKED UP THE PURCHASE AND BROUGH THEM HOME
1 CREAM WAS MISSING! I TEXTED MY SALES REP ROSHANAK ABOUT 25-30 TIMES , I WAS FREAKING OUT I HAD A MIGRANE I WAS SHAKING!
NEXT DAY SHE REPLIED TO ME AND SAID I WAS LYING! I WOULD NOT LIE ABOUT $104!
SHE TOLD ME NOT TO CONTACT HER AGAIN AND IF I STILL HAVE A PROBLEM TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER. I WENT IN TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER VENUS, WHO TOLD ME SHE CAN NOT SPEAK TO ME ABOUT IT, IT HAS BEEN MOVED UP TO HIGHER DEPARTMENT AN ASSISTANT GM WHOSE NAME IS JOTI.
JOTI AND I EXCHANGED MANY TEXTS WHICH SHE TOOK WEEKS TO REPLY TO SHE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL FINALLY, I MET WITH AGM WHO ASKED ME TO LOOK AGAIN ! I WAS HUMILIATED WHEN SHE SAID THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE GONE THIS FAR IF I HAD THE ITEM! I HAD A MISSING ITEM THAT I PAID FOR AND NEVER RECEIVED! AGM HAS NO PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT OR COURTESY, NO SYMPATHY WHEN I STARTED TO CRY BECAUSE I REALIZED SHE WAS NOT GOING TO DO ANYTHING TO HELP ME !! SHE WAS SO RUDE TO ME ALL SHE DID WAS OFFER 15% OFF ON MY NEXT PURCHASE!!!
I AM SO HURT, HEARTBROKEN, I AM SO STRESSFUL, DEPRESSED, ANGRY OUTRAGED DISRESPECTED.

NEVER EVER BUY FURNITURE FROM BAY

Waited over 4 months for the delivery of a piece of furniture. They didnt even assemble it even though being promised at the store that they will make it and take packaging.
They dont pick up calls. Waited for over an hour each day of the week

Zero Customer Service

I’ve been trying to purchase a patio table (only available via phone order), as it is not sold in stores or online.

I have tried for 2 days, approximately 10 different times, and I have yet to make the order. I have been waiting upwards of 25-30 minutes each call on hold despite the recording saying “your wait time is zero minutes.”

This is totally absurd, how can nobody answer the 1-888-257-6784 number to take an order? It’s like they’re purposefully trying to lose business.

I’m at a loss. This has hands down been one of the worst experiences as a consumer.

FINAL SALE SCAM

FINAL SALE SCAM - Bought sneakers on their website. They arrived but didn't fit. When I looked at the invoice that came with the sneakers it said it's a final sale and no returns! I didn't notice anything regarding them being a final sale when I was purchasing the product, neither on the product page nor through the checkout process. They don't even have a phone number on their website to contact them about this. Scam company, never going back!

False advertising -- smaller than described online

Ordered two floral cushions described as being 18x18 by Maison Concepts a "Trusted Brand Partner" of The Bay. Order # 122178452. On delivery they looked smaller. I measured and they were only 16x16.
These two undersized pillows cost me $73.42.
Online misrepresentation and false advertising are rampant on commercial websites and the Bay is no exception. Maison Concepts needs to be dumped as a "trusted partner".

Shipping

Shipping, etc was actually quite quick for me. What really bothered me was the fact that the duvet cover set looked like a washed out, old version of what I ordered.

The product had none of the vibrancy and colour of what I thought I ordered, based on the picture provided to me.

As a result, I will be sticking to Winners from now on as this set was entirely overpriced, despite being on sale.

Partial delivery and no refund

On Nov 2023 I purchased 2 pair of Geox boots and only one pair was delivered. No credit was ever given, showing always proof of delivery for the first box. I contacted customer service several times and their answer was that they were deeply sorry but couldn't do anything. Never said to verify their inventory or take further steps to make sure they didn't make a mistake

Dear valued readers,

I am writing to share my deeply disappointing experience with Hudson Bay. On November 26th, 2023, I eagerly purchased a mattress and promptly paid the full amount, excitedly anticipating its arrival by December 26th, 2023.

However, my anticipation turned into frustration when, just three days before the scheduled delivery, I received a call notifying me of a delay until mid-January 2024. Disappointed but understanding, I patiently waited, only to face yet another setback.

Mid-January came, and I received an email from Hudson Bay, pushing the delivery date to February 13th, 2024. At this point, my trust in the company began to waver, but I remained hopeful for a resolution.

To my dismay, history repeated itself. Three days after the expected February delivery, I received another call, rescheduling the delivery once more, this time to March 3rd, 2024.

This string of broken promises and continuous delays has left me utterly disillusioned with Hudson Bay. Their lack of transparency and disregard for their customers' time is deeply concerning.

In the past 80 days alone, Hudson Bay has failed to honor their commitments and has shown a blatant disregard for honesty and integrity. I implore you not to make the same mistake I did by trusting them with your hard-earned money and valuable time.

They have proven themselves to be unreliable and untrustworthy, and I regret ever engaging with their services.

Bought something sold by the bay

Bought something sold by the bay, not thru 3rd party. First, the system changed my address to the address of a mall for instore pick up, but did not state the unit. I called and was assured they can change it to the correct address, and I got written email proof. Fast forward 2 weeks, not a single peep of when my order would ship. Send an email asking and it got shipped the day of, then send another email making sure it's being sent to the corrected address. No reply, and of course, it wasn't. Canada post held it for over a week due to addressing error, and I had to call them to get it fixed before it finally came. Took just about a month to get my order that was ordered in Canada, being sent to a Canadian address.

Terrible

Terrible shipping and no tracking after "Landmark" passes it off to whoever once it gets to Canada. And why is The Bay shipping a pair of Jockey mens underwear from Great Britain anyway.
DO NOT BUY from so called trusted partners when on The Bay website,
Only buy when it's shipped and sold by The Bay otherwise who knows when and if you'll get your product.

Lack of customer support at all departments

The customer service provided for marketplaces/third parties at Champs Stores lacks quality. The Bay stores and customer service department should prioritize their support for loyal customers. It is important to note that people directly interact with The Bay stores, not with third parties. I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with my shopping experience at the marketplace through Hudson's Bay since last week, going back and forth every day.

Zero customer service

I have bought a Geox shoes for my toddler through their website. I didn’t even notice it is final sale. It was just 20% off. Why would it in the first place as final sale for such little discount?
I contacted them after receiving the shoes right away and as any respectful company they should try to return or exchange if the shoes were faulty. It is size 8 which is supposed to be bigger than my son’s foot and it turns out to be smaller and tight. The customer service did not even try to negotiate or try to compensate for that. It was a firm no return/exchange policy and they can’t do anything. I am very disappointed. I have a HB gift card, I will use it and then I will never show up or buy anything from their company. So disappointing!
