The Big Shoot - Clay Pigeon Shooting Reviews 

The day was great and our trainer/teacher was amazing rob. It was a gift for my autistic brother in-law for his birthday and he was very anxious to start with but was made very comfortable from the very start and what a great day it ended to be. My brother in-law will be back and so will I.

We had the most brilliant time clay shooting today. Went with my partner and we had an instructor each who were very nice, extremely knowledgeable and a good laugh. Everything is provided for you and you are guided throughout your shoot by your instructor. Set in a beautiful, private estate and got to see wild deer roaming. Meeting place is clearly marked, instructions provide when booking were very helpful and there was plenty of parking at the meeting place with a lovely farm shop that sells the most tasty bacon. Would highly recommend, wish we had paid for 50 instead if 30.

This was a late 18th birthday present for my son . We couldn’t book them because of Covid. I booked now for him, my husband and my other son . They said it was a great day , the team were very professional. They went to another company before and it didn’t run as well. They definitely recommend it and would go again .

I attended for a clay pigeon shooting day with my young son. We received a warm welcome on arrival. Booking in advance was pretty easy. Our instructor Terry Humber was ace. We will certainly attend again.

We recently enjoyed a memorable day of clay shooting at The Big Shoot in Wareham.
Our group, which included an 8-year-old and three adults, was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and expertise of our instructor, Gary.

The facilities were well-maintained, and the atmosphere was relaxed, enjoyable and safe.

There are on site toilet facilities and plenty of parking available. There is also a small cafe where you can enjoy a snack and a cuppa.

The shooting range was a few metres away from the main site, so easily accessible and was able to offer various shooting experiences.
The equipment was carefully selected based on the age and size of each participant, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience for everyone.

We highly recommend The Big Shoot to anyone looking for a fun and memorable outdoor activity. A big thank you to Gary for making our experience so enjoyable!

We had a fantastic day. Our group was made to feel safe and well guided, the instructor was very supportive and made the day brilliant. Non of us had shot before and by the end of the day were all hitting over 50% of the clays. Would really recommend this a group event.

Great clay shooting with Graham our instructor. Very helpful and really wanted us all to succeed. We were mostly beginners, so grateful for all Graham's tips. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing experience at Kellbrook Shooting School. Michael, the instructor was very experienced and so good with the kids (age 12 and 8) who absolutely loved it and want to go back, which we will definitely do!

Arrived about 40mins early, paid a visit to the cafe for a coffee and a cake, very nice, and worth a visit on its own, just for the breakfast. We were introduced to Ged who gave us safety instructions and the basics for novices, checked our coordination / eye sight etc; and took a wander down to the cabins on the range. After a few demo’s and dry runs, we were coached and corrected until we (I) successfully hit the targets (my husband, made it look easy and hit his first 5 without a prob), Ged moved us through the ‘easier’ to ‘trickier’ stages. It was a great experience, we both were surprised with our success rate and were hooked from the start. Our instructor, Ged, explained how to maximise our chances to hit the clays, he made the experience very enjoyable and was very genourous with praise and encouragement. We’ll definitely book again 🎈

We both had a great time (at the Huntingdon site) considering we have never touched shotguns before. Adam was a great host and made us feel welcome and at ease - he was very professional. We will definitely be booking more sessions in the future with other family members.

Booked for a stag weekend. Had a ‘blast’!. Everything was well set up and plenty of time was taken to explain what we needed to do. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere and it all felt very safe. We had a great time
