Jane is an exceptional midwife, and I would eagerly recommend her to anyone fortunate enough to have her support during their pregnancy.Her deep knowledge, calm demeanor, and thoughtful approach make her a true asset. Jane attended after the home birth of my second child and the difference between her care and the NHS hospital care I had during my first birth were worlds apart.

Jane is absolutely fantastic, she reassured me, asked for consent before touching me, told me the evidence and advice, she took everything at my pace and honestly saved my birth. Because of Jane I avoided an unnecessary hospital trip and an experience that could well have been traumatic.

If we have another I would definitely have Jane as my midwife from the start! (So whoever reads this, don't time a baby for the same time as me please)

Jane came into our pregnancy late into the day and was brilliant. She came at the recommendation of our Doula and bringing her into the team was a great decision. Nothing was too much for her and she was so caring. She provided an open forum to discuss what was happening which is something that myself and my husband needed. We would use her again if we were expecting again.

What can I say about Jane.

The Biker Midwife, is a solid, dependable, goes the extra mile above and beyond, down to earth independent midwife.

In a world that is increasingly coercive Jane helps and supports my work as a Doula, the thousands of members of my Home Birth Support Group UK, I refer onto her at times when there a complex issue outside of my skillset or when a birth needs unpicking, when there is a need for a second opinion from a Midwife I truly trust.

I have worked with Jane and recommended her for many years and am so grateful that Midwives like her exist in this world.

I got off the phone with Jane with a huge smile on my face... 'So you want a midwife without all the sh!t'. Yes! Yes please!
I booked her in at 20 weeks and from then saw her maybe 4 times at home before birth and she did very little as I requested, had a coffee and left and that was just the way I wanted it!

I had no dread as as the visits would draw near ( a feeling I had had all too often with my first pregnancy under NHS care) and I was always left feeling happy after she had been too.

Jane supported my confidence in myself and my body to birth and she did all this even when she wasn't there for the actual birth! She missed Lilah Fae's new year entrance in the water by a few minutes but was on the phone on the way and gave my partner the reassurance he needed to step into the role of birth partner and space holder.

Jane is very professional, whilst at the same time being a good laugh and didn't feel overly 'nursey' which I very much appreciated. I wanted to feel I had someone to help baby and I if I needed but not feel worried over and Jane really fulfilled that role. A year on and my nearly 3 year old still says he's 'Jane' when he puts on a helmet or jumps on his 'motorbike' and her warmth and patience towards Ruben and his rifling through of all her stuff was so lovely.

I can't fault my experience. I didn't have to worry about any of the technical stuff, Jane did all that ... All the paperwork, pool, tidying up after birth. I just had to grow and birth my baby at home and in peace and that's exactly what I did! Forever grateful. X

Jane is an outstanding midwife and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who is lucky enough to engage her as their midwife.

She is extremely knowledgeable, calm, wise and measured in her approach. She shares information in a neutral way to enable you to make your own informed decisions.

Jane is attentive and responsive. She is also very funny and a lovely presence to have around you at such a significant time of life.

The level of care and continuity that I received from Jane was really nothing like my experiences under the NHS. I believe it was worth every penny, even if that means forgoing that expensive buggy / car seat system to be able to afford it.

Jane is a truly outstanding and exceptional midwife.

After having to transfer into hospital during the labour with my first baby, I really wanted a successful home birth the second time round. I also wanted a midwife who follows evidence based medicine within a patient-centred framework and not a midwife who blindly follows hospital protocols/guidelines without considering the individual woman in front of them - if this is what you want too, Jane should be your midwife! When I first met Jane, I quizzed her on her thoughts and approach to lots of birth-related issues (how did she feel about me being 40? how does she feel when women are "overdue"?....) and found that all of her work and approaches aligned perfectly with my feelings.

Jane is easy to talk too, kind, caring, always upbeat and at times frankly hilarious.

I strongly believe that I would not have had the beautiful and enjoyable home birth that I did have if I had not had Jane as my midwife! Her knowledge, skills and techniques are focused on guiding a birth in the home setting - I just wish everyone could experience this level of care for their labour and birth.

Sadly I think I am done with having babies now, but if number 3 ever does come along I would book Jane again without hesitation.

Jane was my midwife for my second baby, born at home. She came and made visits before the birth and I felt so comfortable with her which was just what I needed. The birth itself was amazing, despite Jane having to hike up the hill we live on in the snow at 5am. She was calm and collected and I felt totally safe in her hands. She was there on the end of the line at any time I needed her. If I was to have another child, I would not even question having her as my midwife. Thank you Jane for being everything I wish I had had in my first birth, a healing birth.

Jane was our midwife for our 3rd and final baby. After our first meeting it was clear she was who we wanted to support us and would be the perfect person to advocate for us and provide the care we wanted. She always arrived with a huge smile and listened to any concerns we had. She is warm and reassuring. If we were going to have another baby she is absolutely who we would want to be there with us. She goes above and beyond ensuring we had everything we needed practically, emotionally and that we had all the information we needed to make decisions.

My soaps and bath bomb just arrived!! Do not need any extra fragrance in the bathroom - simply beautiful, now do not want to use it!! Soap leaves my skin soft which is what I wanted. Thank you.

Omg the smell of these products are divine! The sugar scrub bars are a fantastic concept and the oils leave your skin feeling so very soft. The whole Biker Midwife experience has been a treat from head to toe.

After a hard stressful day at work I tried one of the Biker Midwife’s bath bombs. It was amazing - I sank into the fragrant bath water and all my aches just disappeared. It was truly wonderful.

I LOVE the Orgnaic Baby Sleep Soap. . .and so does all the family! Love the smell, how soft it leaves our skin! Love it :D

This soap is amazing I love the colours and the smells, I have a selection of soaps that the Bikermidwife sells and wasn’t disappointed in any of them. I actually purchased soaps for my husband too.it’s always hard to find a gift for a man.These soaps arnt just practical but they would make wonderful gifts, that little bit of luxury. The face oil is amazing omg my skin is so soft once you use it you won’t want to be with out it.
