Our beautiful bower - where do we even begin!
For the better part of 14 summers, plus the occasional winter escape to enjoy the romantic fireplace, we have lovingly called this place our second home.
The Bower truly ticks every box: Luxury, Privacy, Tranquility, Romantic and so much more. We arrive from the city carrying stress and leave completely restored, with a sense of calm that no other place seems to provide.
Sue and Mark are exceptional hosts who have created something genuinely special. Every stay feels effortless, peaceful and memorable, and it's a place we continue to return to year after year.
The Bower will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

We have stayed at the Bower on several occasions and it is consistently an excellent experience. Relaxed but luxurious. Every detail has been thought of by the owners. A 3 day holiday feels like a week. We can't recommend it highly enough.

Next week will be our biannual visit to The Bower which is our favourite short holiday destination
The wild life never disappoints and includes a satin bower bird with bower and a brown cuckoo dove which is quite rare

Spectacular location in a 90 acre eucalypt forest, but only a five minute drive to two beautiful beaches. Lovely and beautifully appointed bowers, with superb comfortable beds, a log fire for winter nights, and large comfy settee area. We've been more than a dozen times over several years since Mark and Sue first opened the Bower, and always look forward to returning.

The Bower lives up to its name. Peaceful and luxurious retreat for adults only. If you love birds and nature even better. This was our second stay and just as good as the first time. Our hosts Mark and Sue pay close attention to every detail with great breakfast supplies and toiletries to die for. My wife luxuriates in the spa and says it’s a lifetime experience that lives long after she leaves. Trust us it’s 5 star ⭐️ and very special in itself as well as being very well located for all the local beachside attractions. As a nature photographer I wake up with the birds and this Autumn had a wonderful variety of fungi to do macro work with on the grounds. Highly recommended- just do it!
