I have never had a bra that fitted properly, in fact I stopped wearing "proper bras" 50 years ago. With age related sagging needing to be sorted out I tried the Bra Consultancy. What an absolute delight to find this treasure of a shop. With Discreet, polite expertise I was fitted with two different styles with fit perfectly and meet my fussy requirements and not a tape measure in sight. Cannot heep enough praise on the gem of a place.😘

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. They have a very good selection of sizes and different brands.

The staff are very knowledgeable about the products and what will fit.

The prices were also very good.

Without a doubt, staff, Jill welcomed me on arrival and assisted with my fitting. Overall ambience of the store is welcoming, got a nice vibe. Nicely set out for easy viewing, top quality garments, Unrushed and so respectful while trying on new bras. Thankyou Jill.

I went for my very first fitting today at The Bra Consultancy, and I can truly say that I was not disappointed.
I do suffer with anxiety, so was anxious about how I would feel once there. I need not have worried, the minute I walked in with my partner, we were greeted by the beautiful soul that is Jodie. With her warm and bubbly personality, she immediately put me at ease. She asked if I minded her doing my bra fitting. The whole way through she talked me through everything, she was highly respectful and always mindful of protecting my modesty. A much more personal, friendly service compared to bra fittings of years ago, elsewhere.
Nothing was too much trouble. Jodie with her super powers told me what size she thought I was, just by looking at me and then proceeded to go and find me lots of wonderful bras to try on.
The first one she chose for me, was like being wrapped in a hug. I've never felt so comfortable ever, in a bra. I continued to try on various styles Jodie bought in, in case I liked any better. But as so often happens with us women, the first one I tried, was of course The One!
Nothing was to much trouble for Jodie, she put me so at ease with her warm, friendly manner the entire time.
Also she never made me feel pressured to buy anything. Something I was worried about. As I am on a low income, being disabled Buying a good quality bra was a real extravagance for me. Something I was embarrassed about. But I need not have been. They have bra's of all different price ranges, to suit all budgets and you do not feel pushed into buying.
After I'd chosen not one, but 2 bra's we left the fitting room, and upon paying we met the wonderful Julie and Teddy the dog ( a HUGE plus for me that there was a dog. Because with my anxiety, dogs give me such comfort and a welcome distraction) . We had a great time chatting.
It was lovely to meet you both. But mainly to finally feel confident and happy with my new shape the bra's give me, to feel comfortable wearing a bra, something I've never really known... is just life changing. I have Jodie to thank for that ♥️. She is a huge credit to the team, it felt like I'd gained a friend as well as new Bra's 🤭. Thank you for being so kind to me today, and for making me comfortable...not just in my new bra's xx

This was my first visit to the bra consultancy in Maldon and I was blown away just entering the shop I was greeted with a lovely good morning can we help you, then to be helped by a lovely lady called Carol who gave good advice and measured me without a tape measure she most definitely knows her onions. I have come away with the most comfortable bras ever I will definitely be going back and recommend to friend's and family x

Louise was excellent made me feel very comfortable would highly recommend.

Completely professional and friendly experience. Louise helped me in a very kind and helpful manner and taught me how to put a bra on at the age of 61.

I was so nervous as didn't want to be fiddled around with, but I need not have worried. Kayleigh was absolutely brilliant, and knew I was wearing the wrong size (I had no idea!!). Bought the most beautiful bra that normally I would not have looked at, but it was so comfy. Will definitely only buy bra's there in the future. Highly recommend.

In all aspects of my experience, booked a 30 minute appointment with Carol for a bra fitting after disaster purchases and returns of 13+ bras.

Carol was fantastic she didn’t measure she knew I was wearing the wrong size and asked me just a couple of questions she knew exactly what I needed and pulled out a fantastic selection of bras that fitted me like a dream. No awkward moments, no measuring tape just professional, discreet, and great expert advice.

An amazing experience and to be in a bra that fits made me feel fabulous and that I had lost weight in 30 minutes!

The other bonus is they keep all your purchases sizes on record, which means you can reorder by phone, pay by card and have it posted to you!

The shop is very well stocked with good brands and I would defy anyone not to find something they love.

From the minute I walked in I was very nervous and a little scared, but as soon I got in the changing rooms , they were very patient, relaxed, respectful, and caring, after the fitting , talking to them , I left with such a confidence booster and so lifted, as months have gone by, I’ve got the confidence to go back and get a sports bra and get back into fitness, then a swimsuit to get over my fear of the water , each time I’ve been very lucky to experience different fitters and see how talented and inspiring and incredible they are , my life has totally changed thanks to these ladies , but what means the most is how much they have saved my life , and shaped it , thanks to Julie , Kayleigh and team xx

Having worked with the Bra consultancy in a professional capacity i know how passionate and dedicated Julie, Kayleigh and their team are to the services of women; advocating body confidence and helping to empower there customers through their beautiful range of lingerie. But on a personal note i have also visited The Bra consultancy as a client and i can honestly say it such a great experience. The last time i got properly fitted it was all cold hands and measuring tapes but the wonderful Kayleigh nailed my fit and style on the second go just by magic. I have always struggled finding a good fit with my bras and usually ended up picking style over substance, turns out i can have both! I learned that i had been wearing completely the wrong size for years and also weirdly not wearing my bra correctly. I am so grateful for the care and expertise i received in finding my perfect match. I feel absolutely bloody fantastic and will be making a return visit. If you haven't been into The Bra Consultancy yet, you are missing out! I recommend you to everyone!

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting The Bra Consultancy in Maldon, and let me tell you—Louise is a bra whisperer! From the moment I walked in, she put me completely at ease with her incredible knowledge and genuine passion for what she does.

After asking me just a couple of questions (seriously, is she psychic?), she knew exactly what I needed and pulled out a fantastic selection of bras that fitted me like a dream. No awkward moments, no weird measuring tape acrobatics—just professional, discreet, and expert advice. The only embarrassing part? Me flailing around like an octopus trying to get into a bra properly!

Now, I do have a couple of complaints (well, you have to, don’t you?):
1️⃣ I was forced—forced, I tell you—to take nearly everything she showed me because, for the first time in my bra-wearing life, I actually felt good about myself. Outrageous.
2️⃣ Just when I thought I was done, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a beautiful beach cover-up (is that the official name for it?). Where are you going? Louise asked. Nowhere, I replied. But it was such a stunning colour—and THEN, she actually had it in my size! Now, according to my husband, this is the moment she should have herded me out of the shop. But no, Louise is clearly on my team
3️⃣ Did I also find out that they keep all your sizes on record, so when I not-so-subtly mentioned to my husband that the matching bikini would look amazing with my new cover-up—AND that he could just call up and have it posted without even stepping foot in the shop? You bet I did.

So, to sum up: Flawless service, dangerously good stock, and an enabler of fabulous purchases. 10/10—would highly recommend (but maybe leave your husband at home). 🎉😆

I went for a bra fitting today with Julie. The bra fitting is very discreet and I was made to feel very relaxed and comfortable and had plenty of time. The shop has lots of styles and makes to choose from and bras are suggested for you to try on, so it is a very personal service. Would highly recommend.

Julie was the lady who helped me today.
After having years of not finding the right size bra and style, Julie knew straightaway which was good for me.
I would highly recommend the shop and it’s lovely it is in our home town.

Lovely that Maldon has such a great bra shop. Nothing is too much trouble, they are patient and taking time to decide is encouraged. Staff really know their stock and which bra might be the best fit for you out of their wide range - endless bras are produced for trying on. Staff are discreet and put you at your ease. My fitting today was with Carol (thank you!) but all the staff are equally helpful.

What a lovely experience Carol put me at ease Iv had a breast reduction 6 years ago and I can honestly say Carol was so knowledgeable and knew exactly what bra would suit me I would highly recommend
