Warning: Breach of contract at The Bull Hotel, Horncastle
I am writing this to warn other travelers about my experience at The Bull Hotel in Horncastle. During my stay for the festival weekend, I experienced a severe breach of contract. Despite having a confirmed and paid reservation for a hotel room, I was not given a guest room. Instead, the owner gave me his own small private living quarters, and I was forced to use the staff shower facilities, which was completely unacceptable.The situation worsened the next morning when no breakfast was provided. The staff, dressed in traditional Bangladeshi attire, simply informed me that it was their 'holiday' and therefore no service would be provided. I paid for a professional hotel service including breakfast, but received neither. Placing a paying guest in private staff quarters is deceptive and unprofessional. Avoid this place if you value your privacy and contractual rights.
