Relaxed, supportive and safe space for networking. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Like most people I am not a great fan of Networking. But The Business Social is a gem of an event. Great food, great atmosphere and a chance to simply talk and create conversations and relationships rather than the “tell me about your business and here’s my card.”
Smaller numbers- around 20 meant that people could spend time, drift between small groups, take time to really connect.
Definitely the way I like to do business.
With different locations available you are not far from an event. I’d thoroughly recommend you attend.

Really enjoyed "The Business Social" this morning at The Botanist. Some really great people, really nice venue, delicious food, and a great relaxed atmosphere. Had some lovely conversations and Gemma was a wonderful host. I'll definitely be back! Thanks Gemma.

Nice, friendly event to attend. Lovely venue. Made some great connections. Number of people attended were small (approx 15) but this was perfect, as we were all able to get round each other and chat/make connections without it being overly busy and chaotic! Will definitely attend more of these events, highly recommended!

Such a great set up and a very welcome alternative to networking where the agenda just follows your own conversations. We had some good chat, good food and naturally ended up talking really helpful shop that mattered to us right now. I'm looking forward to the next one!

I went along to the brunch not really knowing what to expect, and was warmly met by Gemma, who then introduced to others there, which was really lovely, and made me feel instantly welcome. As a seasonal networker it was great to walk into a room of 'new' people to chat and connect with - every one of them was friendly, and interesting to chat to. The food served was also excellent. I will definitely make it part of my regular networking.

A really enjoyable networking event with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It was great to meet a wide range of people from different businesses, have some genuine conversations, and make new connections without it feeling overly formal.

The organiser does a fantastic job of bringing everyone together and creating an environment where it was easy to chat and share ideas. There was a real sense of community, and I came away with some valuable contacts as well as a few new perspectives.

I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to grow their network in a welcoming and enjoyable setting. Looking forward to the next one!

This was my first experience of The Business Social and I loved it. Gemma was so welcoming, the food was fab and the other people in the room were likeminded and very easy to chat with. I’ll definitely be heading to another one in the future.

Probably the best networking event I have been to. A perfect size to give you a chance to speak to most people and make new connections. The setting is lovely and the host Gemma is brilliant. She helps settle the nerves of anyone not comfortable or new to the group. Also it was a wonderful collection of people. Can’t wait for the next one!

One of my favourite Networking events for its relaxed, friendly atmosphere created by the fabulous Host, Gemma, who is always welcoming to both seasoned and new Networkers. The event always attracts a wide range of businesses and isn't too big so that you can easily talk to everyone in the room & make great connections.
Gemma helps nervous newbies to settle into the event and makes any introductions if she knows who you want to meet.
The venue is very easy to get to and the food is always great too.
A fabulous way to start your weekend.

Great Location @ the Botanist West Bridgeford worth a visit outside of networking. Great Brunch, smashed Avos my Fav. Well organised, and nice to meet those i did.

Great venue, and even better company! Gemma is very good at making you feel like you belong from the first minute, you step in. I can definitely recommend to anyone who is a seasoned 'networker' or someone who just starts their adventure with socialising for business.

Gemma brings together a really vibrant mix of businesses at her events.
It was the first time I'd attended her networking but I really enjoyed it and had some insightful and enjoyable conversations. I made some great connections and came away with lots of ideas - as well as exchanging many thoughts about other events.
Thoroughly enjoyable, oh and the food was absolutely delicious too!

Being new to networking, having only recently started my own business, The Business Social's Networking Brunch was an excellent choice.

Gemma was a very welcoming host putting me instantly at ease and they had chosen a very suitable location in The Botanist, West Bridgford. I highly recommend The Business Social if this experience is what you can expect!

I was a little nervous entering a room full of strangers for my first networking event. But I needn't have worried. Gemma greeted everyone in such a welcoming way, and I felt lost for about 1.2 milliseconds! Very friendly and relaxed event. If you’ve been thinking about going, stop hesitating and go!
