i lost 6000 pounds

I entered an auction and won the coin, but instead of letting me collect it in person, they shipped the coin and lost it. I lost 6,000 pounds because of them. They don't respond to emails, they don't answer the phone, they cause damage, and they disappear. They're only present before the auction, and then they disappear immediately afterward.

First rate

Friendly, helpful and , on a sale, prompt to settle up and, on a purchase, quick to send the coins out after invoice settled

Lost a shipment, got refunded.

Comparing The Coin Cabinet to Roma Numismatics at its peak is a bit like comparing a promising local football club to the Champions League

Dear Deniz,

We are sorry again that this shipment was lost in transit.

For the sake of accuracy, once FedEx confirmed the parcel as missing on 25 March 2026, we processed the insurance claim, filed a police report, and arranged a full refund. Payment was then made on 26 March 2026 (One day after).

We appreciate that this was a frustrating situation. However, in cases of loss in transit, we must first await the carrier’s formal confirmation before concluding the claim process, notifying the relevant parties, and finalising the refund. The shipping method had also been discussed in advance and was not selected unilaterally by us, and you have insisted on using FedEx instead of DHL, which was not advised by our team.

Kind regards,
The Coin Cabinet

Big Reliable House

At the beginning i was little bit sceptic about joining their auction due to the fact of EU customs and duties, but all and all excellent pieces at a good prices to bid.Shipping was little bit a pain as it took almost 19 days to arrive but it was caused as they have explained me due to the fact of it problems all were arranged no duties and customs paid and cleared very quickly. For sure i will be joining again their future auctions as they are a reliable and big house.
