Quality furniture

Love the furniture here, so beautiful and timeless. The quality is especially amazing, I couldn't recommend them more. I ordered the Lena chair in Black leather and I absolutely love the design and in excellent, sturdy quality.

Beautiful furniture

Beautiful furniture. You can find both minimalistic furniture and more with a little extra personality. I fell most in love with all the earth colors and textures that they have.

Do not trade with The Design Part! Is not a trustable Company

I made two orders last January, one of them checking that items were in stock. They send half of first order, never sent the second one and cut all contact with me, never answer a phone call, nor an e-mail, nor update orders. Fortunately, I paid with PayPal and when I open a case through them, TDP got in contact with me after 2 months disappeared. They have not refunded yet a huge amount of money. Keep away from them, they show an absolute fraud behavior and always pay through PayPal to ensure your transaction.

FRAUD! NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM

This is not a legitimate company. My order never arrived and when I asked for a tracking number to have an overview of the order they replied that they'll check with their warehouse and get back to me. They never did.

DON’T BUY WITHOUT PAYPAL

DON’T BUY WITHOUT PAYPAL. I am very disappointed, I have ordered 2 items back in December, they have never shipped it. They claimed that the items that I have purchased were out of stock at the time of purchase, but they have “live stock” written on their website and it was more than 80 items on stock! After reaching out 2 times with their customer service, they kept me waiting and gave me 0 updates on my order. I had enough and I have opened PayPal case. They have immediate answered and said that now they cancelled my order, because I asked for it (I was tired of waiting)! I received an email that my order was cancelled, but I HAVEN’T received money back on my PayPal. So they were actually trying to steal my money, sent out fake we have made a refund and cancelled my order so the items won’t be ever shipped. Luckily PayPal was in my favor and they kindly refunded me my money. Definitely not worth all this hustle and bustle for their items. I won’t recommend buying from this store, but if you do be smart and secure yourself and pay with PayPal.

Stay away!!!!!!!!!!

Stay away!!!!!!!!!!! Fraudulent behavior.
I purchased a lamp to which they sent an order confirmation. Same day, they e-mail me saying that the price was wrong, but if I kindly transfer 10% more, they will send it, not before ( making the lamp more expensive than from other dealers).
I insist that I bought the lamp for the initial price and will not be paying any more money and when I can expect it to be sent. They drag out the correspondance even though I eagerly insist that the contract is binding. 3 days later they finally cancel the order, though same day I find out that they have already withdrawn my money even though they never had the intent to honour our deal. They claim to have refunded the money and will find out with PayPal what is happening. I contact Paypal myself, who informs me that no orders of refund have been given. A week passes and still no sight of the money. Same message with PayPal. I escalate to PayPal and Mastercard and after 2 weeks finally I get my money back, probably because PayPal was on their back. Though, not all of the money were given back due currency differences. I have requested the rest and my bank will be chasing them if they don’t.
I see now that there has recently been reviews here on Trustpilot reporting similar stories. It seems they withdraw the money instantly (and in some cases unlawfully) when the customer places the order and not like honest companies when they send the item. The upside to them of this is obvious. They have money in the bank and drag out delivery time and refund time in order to have liquidity. I have reported the case to the Consumer Ombudsmand.
This has been terribly time consuming and I am still missing about EUR 300. So please save yourself from the time, trouble and potential money loss.

I looked up your support tickets about your order and will include the information as a reply to the review:

You placed an order for a lamp on The Design Part, which had a pricing error, and was about 40% cheaper than the regular price. This was due to the brand prices not having been updated.

Our support team reached out to you on the same day, explaining the error, and offered the choice of canceling the order for a free refund or paying the additional fee (which included a 20% discount from the retail price).

You requested that the order would be canceled. Your order was then withdrawn by our support on the same day.

(Note: Pricing errors are rare, but they can happen, and if they do, then we can offer you to cancel the order.)

As mentioned by our support team:

We don’t handle any part of the refund process, as this is entirely run by your payment processor.

When we cancel an order, your payment processor is notified, and a “refund request” is initiated by them.

Unfortunately, we don’t control how long a refund takes and if currency exchange takes place while being refunded.

The Design Part did not “drag out” refund time at any point, and your payment processor initiated the refund once the order was canceled.

We advise you to contact your payment gateway to request information on the delay in receiving a refund for a canceled order and potential currency conversions, as we sadly don’t have control over this.

Worst experience! No bed, no money, just waiting!

I ordered a bed at the beginning of Nov. at The Design Part and I was told that it will take about two weeks after payment. So I paid and nothing happened until I asked near Christmas. I was told the supplier doesn't answer and they think we will get the bed until the 4th of Jan.
Well, we didn't hear anything from them and I was writing for the 25th time to the support.. Supplier still didn't answer but they will keep trying.
After another 3 weeks I gave up and canceled my order. That is now 2 weeks ago and I haven't got my money back.
Overall: you shouldn't sell stuff you can't deliver.
Will never buy anything there again, very disappointing and SOO time consuming.

STAY AWAY!!!
the worst online shopping experience i ever had.
i purchased a chair at the store. when purchasing it added 49 euro in delivery cost.
after more than a MONTH of waiting, they send me an email saying - oops, its not 49 euro its 900 euro!!!!!
so more than a month later, i am left without a chairm having to look for a new chair, waiting for a new chair, AND - when my money was refunded due to exchange rates differences, I was refunded 20 dollars less, and they refuse to give back that difference, saying that I CHOSE TO CANCEL The order. unbelievable horrible service - i was quoted 49 euro delivery, and then slapped with 900 euro delivery which i did not sign up for, and they are surprised i chose to cancel the order.
just a horrible company, who also reneged on a contract, since by law they should provide the chair at 49 euro delivery even if they made a mistake.

Our shipping calculator did indeed make an error when calculating the shipping price of a chair from Germany to the US.

Such errors are rare, but if these happen, then we can legally cancel them or ask you to cancel them.

Our support explained the issue and asked if you wanted to cancel the order or correct the shipping price to ship the item to the US.

You made the decision to cancel the order, which was done immediately by our support team, and your refund was immediately initiated by your payment processor.

Please note that we don’t have any control over how your payment processor handles refunds, and when we cancel an order, the total amount is refunded by your payment processor. If the amount appears to be less than what you originally paid (which can be due to currency conversion, updated currency rates, payment processor fees), then we advise you to contact them directly.
