The English Bed Company Reviews 

We purchased the Austen Bed back in June. We have since experienced very poor service when it comes to delivery of the bed. Whilst I appreciate that the couriers/delivery company are separate from the English Bed company, they have been completely non responsive when trying to resolve the matter. We are still waiting for a response from the English Bed company. We needed to change our original delivery date due to a delay moving into our new property. The delivery company informed us they could not tell us when the bed would be delivered as “we only deliver to your area every couple of weeks”. Quite frankly, I’m not sure how a delivery company can justify this. The delivery company have been rude and dismissive. It’s a real shame as the ordering process was easy and English Bed company had been very helpful until now.

I love my bed, it’s so beautifully made and feels like I’m stepping into a hotel room when I see it. The headboard is stunning and I just love how it looks. The company have been great to order from and all communication has been fast and friendly.

We bought an emperor sized bed from The English Bed Company back in 2016. It has been a fantastic purchase and we were very happy with the service. Recently some of the slats broke and, after a few phone calls, the sales team have managed to track down replacements and will be delivering them to us free of charge. Great customer service and would recommend highly them.

Amazing quality of samples! Super quickly delivery!

I bought a Dickens upholstered double bed 3 years ago and paid for installation service. The bed wobbled like mad and the headboard shifted side to side, so they sent Homeserve to 'fix it'. The headboard literally held the rest of the frame together with one piece of chipboard in the centre. Unfortunately, although the issue was slightly improved, the bed has never been sturdy but because it was in a spare room and not used very often, I gave up complaining. 2 days ago, the bed finally collapsed - the headboard piece has snapped in half and the whole frame has fallen away from the bed. The English Bed Company have informed me that the bed is out of warranty but out of good will have offered to repair the bed but at my cost to re-deliver it. A poor experience for a supposed 'luxury' item.

We ordered a kingsize bed through the English Bed Company after my parents and sister recommended them.

The quality of it is absolutely amazing, we are so pleased with it. We also ordered a mattress and it’s extremely comfortable.

The delivery men were also really friendly and put the bed up for us. The only slight negative is that the production of our bed was delayed and we weren’t told about it until the last week when we were actually expecting it to be delivered, however they did get it to us the week after so it wasn’t too long to wait.

It was well worth waiting a little longer for the amazing quality and it was custom made for us, I would give the bed 10 stars if I could. I’d definitely order another bed through this company and will recommend them.

We’ve had the bed for over 5 years now and are very happy with the quality. The customer service team were very quick to respond to a recent request for some assistance. Highly recommended !

We had a small faulty part 2 years in and the company have been helpful and efficient with providing the replacement part practically overnight.

We would definitely reccomend this company.

Great customer service, from questions asked answered really quickly to samples sent out to help decide which headboard we would be choosing.

Ordered fabric samples and brochure, they arrived quickly and oozed quality. Lots of choice of materials & colours. Beautiful beds, I have found it difficult to find beds which are manufactured in the uk. I have ordered and can’t wait for delivery. Thanks.

My new bed was delivered this week and after having the first few nights I felt I had to let you know that the quality is absolutely fabulous and luxurious, sturdily built not like my old bed which was held together with screws! I certainly wouldn't hesitate to use your company again in the future. Even Kim was very patient with me not making up my mind and sending out 3 lots of swatch. Ten out of ten for the courier guys also they were very polite and courteous. I cannot praise your company highly enough. Here is to many peaceful and comfortable future night's sleep.
