Fare Hub's methods are unorthodox, if not fraudulent

Fare Hub's methods are unorthodox, to say the least. The rep who called me was polite; however, booking my roundtrip flight with him became convoluted. He asked me to call back and ask for him personally, as he claimed he would work on the best fares available. The ones I selected on their sight were "no longer available". In the meantime, a United Airlines representative called me to inform me that a travel company, whom she had never heard of, tried to give her my credit card number. Evidently, that is not protocol. The Fare Hub rep booked another one-way flight for me on Delta as well. My credit card account showed charges from Delta, United, and an additional $184 for Fare Hub. I didn't think much of it until the next day, when my bank alerted me to suspicious charges on the card I used for travel. A Southwest Airlines charge for over $350 appeared, and in addition that, someone attempted to use that same card to make purchases at Walmart and $192 worth of food at Panda Express. My bank issued "provisional refunds" as they investigate. I cannot claim with certainty that Fare Hub is responsible for the fraudulent charges, but I'll never use them again. If you have already booked travel through Fare Hub, check your flights through the airlines to ensure you have a reservation. My trip went as planned, but I've read reviews about cancelled flights. Also, check your credit card account for suspicious charges.

I bought tickets through Fair Hub and…

I bought tickets through Fair Hub and they didn’t send the boarding passes until the very last minute. I was on the phone for 3 days and the day of the flight i was on the phone for hours and they claimed that the flight was over booked and wouldn’t send the boarding passes. Finally, I managed to get on the flight. On the way back the same thing happened and they said they would refund us the money but never did, until this day they are taking money out of my card and still haven’t given the $150 for the baggage fee back.

I will never use Fare Hub again

I will never use Fare Hub again. I only used them because they had a great price. An hour later I received a call that those tickets were no longer available. I had to pay triple what the listed price was for the flight.

Booked a ticket for my wife who has…

Booked a ticket for my wife who has terminal cancer to see family why travel is still an option. She showed at airport to find that ticket was cancelled. It took hours of flights and a lot of money to get her to family. Not satisfied. If you book through Farehub you better stay on top of the booking. My advice try another service.

Don't trust the fare hub

They will scam you by thinking you got a deal when your purchased was never actually purchased and tell you that the airline never confirmed the ticket price so now the price will be a lot more. Not part of the BBB make you purchase through the airline directly.

These guys are frauds

These guys are frauds. I booked a two way flight. They charged me money. 24 hours before the flight when I call the customer service, a guy tells me he has confirmation for the flight to go but not to come back. Come on, I booked a two way flight. They wanted me to fly with a verbal confirmation for one way. And they never sent me any tickets with confirmation emails. Now they are refusing to pay me back.

They will give you a price quote

They will give you a price quote, but then they will phone you to try to convince you to accept a more expensive rate. When you decide to not accept the new rate, they will then turn abusive. Away from it!

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. I booked tickets on their site. About an hour later, I received a call saying that the tickets that I booked were no longer available and then they proceeded to offer a different ticket for a much higher price. I cancelled. Then I found another ticket for a good price on their site and booked it. Got another call saying it was not available. The man said he would try and find something for me. I said that I had just gone through this same scenario about an hour ago. He was very stern and rude with me telling me that I needed to be patient. Then he offers me a ticket for twice the price they had listed in the first place. Unbelievable. What a scam. Do not use them. I may be a senior citizen, but I am NOT STUPID .

NEVER NEVER NEVER use thefarehub.com.com…

I purchased tickets at thefarehub.com RT tickets for 3 for $606 from San Antonio to Denver. They called me the next day saying they refused to honor their advertised price and the cost is now $1113. I explained that what they were doing qualifies as "bait and switch" and it is illegal to advertise a price then refuse to honor that price. The agents became angry and belligerent. I advise everyone to NEVER use the website. Sounds like the basis for a good class action lawsuit. Only gets a star because I can't give them no stars.
