I wouldn’t trust this company

I wouldn’t trust this company with my home, my money, or my reputation — and I definitely wouldn’t refer them, partner with them, or invest in their franchise.

This is my personal experience after spending hundreds of thousands of dollars and years of my life trying to build a Flood Team franchise. I thought I was buying into a proven system. Instead, it felt like I was paying full price to help them figure it out as they went.

Leadership constantly shifted directions — one week it was Google Ads, then radio spots, then “spraying” billboards all over town, then an app that never actually worked. So much time and money was spent chasing shiny ideas instead of building real support or systems for franchise owners.

I was told this was a “turnkey” business model. In reality:
• There were no established vendor relationships or referral pipelines.
• Marketing was chaotic and reactionary.
• Every time something didn’t work, leadership blamed someone new instead of fixing the problem.
• And despite all this, they continued to collect royalties and present it online like a polished, thriving franchise system.

When things went wrong and I spoke up, instead of accountability or solutions, I got legal threats — for leaving an honest review about my experience. No offer to make it right. Just “take it down or else.”

Maybe your experience will be different if you’re just hiring them for restoration work. But if you’re thinking of investing, partnering, or sending referrals — please do your homework first. Talk to people who’ve actually been through it — not just the ones they select for marketing.

I’m still hoping they eventually do the right thing. I’m not out to destroy anyone — I just believe the truth should count for something.
