This is a nightmare

This is a nightmare. Sent boots that had nothing to see with the picture, I asked for a refund and they sent me another pair. Now no answer from customer service whatsoever. Do yourself a favor and avoid tem.

This is the worst company

This is the worst company. Do not buy anything from them. They will either never send an item or when they do it is nothing close to what is depicted on the web site. Customer service is not helpful and almost always unreachable.

Don’t do it unless you’re 100% sure you want to keep them because Customer Service will never contact you

I purchased boots that shipped to me on time and in good condition. However, I changed my mind and I wanted to return. They are $200 and I cannot get them to respond to me via the contact us form, phone or the support email which I have tried multiple times over 4 weeks. I just don’t know what else to do other than call my credit card and tell them it’s fraud. This is absolutely ridiculous. I have a feeling by the time they finally do respond to me they’re gonna tell me it’s too late to return it. So I just don’t know what else to do other than write a terrible review. I don’t take this lightly.

Absolutely worst customer service I've ever experienced

I have spent 5 months trying to use a gift card, being sent the wrong boots (which we returned on our dollar), trying to get the correct boots only to find out after months of silence they didn't have the original boots in stock, and finally months trying to get a reimbursement (promised but not yet issued).

Initial calls into the customer service line were only ever handled by rude, accusatory, and totally useless people. Never again interacted with someone who at least sounded like a human. Weeks or months between templated emailed responses with our customer service agent (most definitely a bot). Only started to get any traction after nearly half a year once I started copying people at the Head Office I found off LinkedIn.

No acknowledgment, no accountability, no concern for customer experience or satisfaction = no longer paying way too much for increasingly marginal quality boots. Like me, take your money elsewhere and don't waste your time on a formerly great company. Other companies value your time and money more.

This is the email I sent to the Frye co
Subject: Order FRYE-884789 confirmed
I called to see if I could get a 9.5 after checking my other boots but the shipments was already mailed. I’ve marked on the shipment statement the issue I have with these boots. Also on the right top part of the boot it has some bruised leather, wider than the right one and has something white on it. I’ve taken pictures of the boots. The bottom heel even has scratches on it. I’M REQUESTING A MANAGER TO CALL ME BACK ASAP. I’ve called your number and no one answers it says to email. I do not care to email I need to speak with a live person.
AND I’VE SENT 4 EMAILS AND 5 PICTURES AND NO ONE HAS CALLED, NOR HANDLED THIS ISSUE

This company has gone so downhill its…

This company has gone so downhill its criminal. Received a gift of horribly damaged and obviously worn boots. Two emails over 10 days to Customer Service (who was not taking calls) and no response. Wrote a review that of course generated a email from Frye. Then I am told I cannot ship the exchange to me, the gift recipient, but the exchange has to go to the person who sent me the gift 450 miles away. So I try for a return, and am given a 0.00 dollar refund. Used to love their boots but no more. Guess I will just be happy with my two pairs of Fryes I have had for years - purchased back when the company made a quality product and was reputable.

the Frye company steals

The Frye company steals your money and it charges way too much for its merchandise to do that. They add an AfterShip protection fee after you purchase your items without your consent. Also, customer service is non-existent. Although I love the footware I received from them, I will no longer be shopping on their site.

Trying to reach Frye for nearly a week

Trying to reach Frye for nearly a week! Phone isn’t working, chat isn’t working, no email response. They sent the wrong boots and now no way to exchange them. A return costs $12! Total BS, this company has gone to the birds.

Leather peeled after a handful of wears

Is it possible to give them 0 stars?

I purchased an expensive pair of white sneakers that were almost $200, and the leather started peeling after just several weeks of normal wear. The most infuriating thing is the leather peeled right around the opening of the shoe - somewhere that is NOT subject to wear and tear like the toe cap or even the sides.

When I reached out to customer service, it was just 3 weeks after the 30 day return window. They are extremely rigid with their return policy and have no desire to correct the issue.

Do not bother with Frye. They do not care about their customers or creating high quality products.

TRASH BOOTS AND TRASH CUSTOMER SERVICE

Boot a pair of expensive boots, a used pair came with scratches and all. Customer service via email and tried calling, no call back. Chat sent me a link to return them and said I have to wait up to ten days for them to inspect them. I can order a new paid but I have to shell out the money. I sat on chat for 20 minutes with no further response. I guess this is what happens when you sell out to China.

Absolutely Terrible Never Again

I don't know how they're still in business - I suppose by scamming just enough people to stay afloat. I've owned good quality Frye boots for years, but I recently ordered a pair and what I received was NOTHING like what I saw on the website. The quality is so incredibly poor, I thought they were counterfeits. Thin, dried out leather and soles look like they've been worn. I want to return them, and they will not budge on the $12.00 return fee. Why should I have to pay to return this garbage? Nobody answers the customer service number.

I would not recommend buying from this company.

I purchased a pair of boots that were rather expensive. After about 7 wears the Pull-Tabor the back of the boot came off and pretty easily too.

When I reached back to customer service they said they don’t service thing for anything beyond 30 days.

I was told they made good quality products but I have experienced the opposite. They don’t have a warranty on their shoes or boots unlike other companies such as Paraboot.

I would recommend you save your money and spend it with a brand that stands behind their products.

Dont shop with this company

Dont shop with this company. I ordered a pair of boots for my birthday. Tried on numerous occasions to contact them for an update on the delivery, no reply to any of my emails. I have luckily been refunded by the kind people at PayPal. I even contacted the American company for assistance, they informed me they are a third party distributor.

The Worst Customer Service

If I could give this company zero, I would. I returned a product that I had purchased as a gift as my friend did not like it. It is now been over a month since the product has been returned, and I have yet to receive my money. I have called customer service at least 10 times and left messages and I’ve spoke with three individuals. The last individual her name was Claire said she cannot help me because she needs marry her colleague to help and there has been no response from the manager. They need the manager to authorize them to provide the refund. so the manager has not responded to their numerous messages and they’re not able to authorize a refund. Even though they have the product sitting in front of them. This is the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. She was even telling me how bad the process is at the company and how frustrated she is with the process. Do not buy anything from this company because if you need to return it, you’re never getting your money back.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THE WORST. I mailed back my boots and they received them March 17. They require 14 business days to authorize a refund. It has been 20. It has been one month on the calendar. There is no refund. My call went to a call center in India. My emails are not answered. Today a “ticket” was made to escalate my request. Why do I even have to request a refund? Isn’t that automatic when you return a product? So disappointing that a company like Frye which I expected to be so trustworthy, ends up being so shady. If you really love the boot, buy it at Zappos. Far better, customer service, smoother refund, and you’ll probably save 40%.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

I bought a pair of boots that were $278, and NOT on sale at any discount. In small print it said final sale. The boots were too small despite most reviews saying they fit true to size. When they arrived I could not even get my foot in boot. I inquired to exchange them, because I really liked the style. They said too bad-so sad! These were final sale. You could sell them through our resale avenue. REALLY????? On top of that they did not publish my critical review. This is SUBSTANDARD "customer service" I will never buy anything from them again.

Cheap and worthless products

What use to be a classy and reputable company has now turned into a dishonest and low level manufacturer. They are rude, they lie and misrepresent their products. I bought shoes and was later informed they were not returnable bc they were sale items. !!!!! 170.00! What company sells high end boots on line without return options??? First and last order I make. Shame on them’. The shoes were awful as compared to their advertisement.
